    15. Now it's time to start shaping the tail. For now, only the base is needed. Therefore, we lay out only an approximate form from the remaining potatoes. Cover the potatoes with a layer of grated protein.

    16. The next layer is carrots, but not fresh, finely grated, but boiled. We also lay out this layer, capturing the side edges as well, forming a volume. Our rooster will turn out to be voluminous, and will look like a real one!


    17. Now we layer everything with mayonnaise. They can layer each layer, but in our family we are not big fans of mayonnaise, so I have a minimum of its layers.

    But here you need to cover well carrot layer mayonnaise. All carrots should be in a white coat, including the edges. Don't forget to create volume.

    22. Now we arm ourselves with scissors and take red pepper. In advance, I cut out scallop and beard blanks from paper, and now I put the cut blank and cut them out.

    First, I went to the Internet and looked at what kind of salads they were preparing. I studied the proposal, and I wanted to prepare a salad that is not like the others.     If I decided on the composition of the products almost immediately, then I had to seriously tinker with the design.


    To begin with, I found an image of a Rooster on the Internet, which, in my opinion, met the highest requirements of my request. I can't draw, and no matter how much I tried to redraw it, the proportions obviously failed.

    Since the image was not too large, the task was to enlarge it. But it didn't work out for me.

    Then I began to pester everyone at home, so that someone would help me draw Handsome. But everyone just laughed, and twisted at the temple. Then the son took pity and said that he read somewhere that you can draw an object by breaking it into ovals. And what do you think? I managed! Hooray!!!


    I drew ovals, painted on where necessary, and the image acquired the right proportions. I cut out this image and worked with it as a template. I also drew a comb and a beard on paper, and also cutting them out, I used them in further work.

    When they ate the Fire Rooster salad, their daughter and granddaughter were visiting. But the granddaughter does not eat such mayonnaise salads. But we got out of this situation. In one of the magazines, I peeped the idea of ​​a baby Cockerel. I remember how to do everything. Moreover, there is nothing special to remember there.

    And quickly prepared a salad for her in 15-20 minutes.

    Salad "Cockerel - Golden Scallop" for the New Year

    We will need:

    • rollton noodles - 1 briquette
    • bell pepper - red and pink
    • green peas - 2 tbsp. spoons
    • canned corn - 1 tbsp. spoon
    • carrots (fresh or boiled) - 0.5 pcs
    • cucumber -0.5pcs


    Cooking:

    1. Put water to boil in order to boil the noodles. I take precisely rollton, because this noodle is “curly” and very much resembles chicken feathers.

    2. When the water boils, boil the noodles in it for 2-3 minutes, or as directed on the package.

    3. In the meantime, it is cooked, cut from pepper different colors two identical wings and a scallop.

    4. Cut out a circle from carrots - the head, and sticks - paws. Cut the beak out of the cucumber.

    5. Let the liquid drain off canned peas and corn.

    6. Throw the finished noodles into a colander and lightly pour over boiled cool water. Of course, you can lay it out hot, but while we are decorating the plate, it will still cool down. And so, the noodles will not stick together and the Cockerel will take on beautiful shapes.

    7. Put the noodles in the center of the plate. From it, draw the neck and tail.

    8. Attach the head - carrots, make an eye out of a pea. Attach scallop and wings.

    9. Lay out the neck from the corn.

    10. Form paws from carrots. Put peas under the paws.

    So this Cockerel is ready! It turned out to be somewhat "arthouse", but my granddaughter really liked it. When asked if she should warm up the noodles, she refused, and said that she would eat this dish like a salad!

    At first I ate all the peas, and then sat for a long time. We asked why she doesn’t eat, she doesn’t like it! And she said that it was a pity to eat such a Cockerel. But when I promised her that I would do the same for her, she already ate everything without a trace!

    Everyone was happy, everyone liked everything! And I got a double pleasure, doing such interesting art! So the Rooster learned to draw, and she came up with a new New Year's salad, and her granddaughter was satisfied with her dish!

    At the table they also remembered a nursery rhyme -

    “Petya, Petya, Cockerel - a golden comb!

    Look out the window, I'll give you peas .... "
