On the 31st in the morning I clean and cut boiled vegetables for salad. I put it in a bowl and put it in the fridge. It remains to cut a few products and season salads.

I set the table until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, I prepare dishes for hot dishes, salads and cuts. Sometimes I even arrange empty dishes on the table with notes: Olivier, duck with apples, olives, canapes, etc.

I spread everything that is intended for baking in the oven on a baking sheet, cover it with cling film, and put it on the balcony.

I go to bed! An hour and a half of daytime sleep will only add beauty.

I turn on Christmas music. Bring herself up. Makeup, manicure, hairstyle. From now on, I will do everything in thin gloves! There is very little left!

I finish salads, form meat and cheese plates, lay out pickles. It's getting hot in the oven...

The guests are already here. It's good that I'm already beautiful and in a good mood!

During the holiday

The hostess of the feast needs to keep order on the table. I clean up empty dishes in time, change dirty plates for clean ones before changing dishes.

Before serving tea, I take a short break. During this time, I lay out the remains of salads, cuts, pickles and side dishes in plastic containers with lids. All this in the best possible way can be eaten for lunch in the new year.

I put cutlery in a deep bowl and fill it with dishwashing detergent. I quickly wash and dry the plates. Why do we need a mountain of dirty dishes in the new year?

I learned not to overeat on New Year's Eve in order to enjoy tea drinking at a beautifully set table. We remove everything from the table, wipe it or even change the tablecloth, arrange candles and the most elegant tea set. Cake, pastries, fruit, a quiet cozy conversation. I'm not trying to get everything perfect. The main thing is a clean table with a New Year's tablecloth and an elegant festive composition. I always find a few minutes for the first breakfast in the new year to be full of positive emotions.

Ingredients:
1 package (200 g) crab meat

Ingredients:
1 thin Armenian lavash
1 package (250 g) cream cheese
250 g slightly salted salmon
3 medium cucumbers
1 small head of lettuce or Chinese cabbage
dill greens
salt and ground black pepper

Cooking:
Unfold the pita bread on the table and spread evenly with cream cheese. Finely chop the fish and spread over the surface of the pita bread. Peel cucumbers, cut into small cubes and put on pita bread. Sprinkle finely chopped lettuce and chopped dill on top. Lightly salt, sprinkle with black pepper and roll the pita bread into a roll. Place the roll in a plastic bag or wrap in plastic wrap. Remove the roll for several hours in the refrigerator for impregnation. Immediately before serving, cut the roll into slices about 2-3 cm thick.

6 loaf slices
200 g slightly salted salmon

500 g boiled beef
4 boiled eggs
6 pickled cucumbers

Disassemble the boiled meat into fibers. Cucumbers and eggs grate on a coarse grater, pass the garlic through a press, chop the walnuts. Mix cucumbers with garlic. Put the salad in layers: 1) meat + mayonnaise; 2) cucumbers with garlic + mayonnaise; 3) boiled eggs + mayonnaise; 4) walnuts. Refrigerate the salad before serving.

200 ml heavy cream

Cooking:
