  • 50 gr wheat flour;
  • 1 liter of milk;
  • 250 gr of Cheddar cheese;
  • 150 gr Parmesan cheese;
  • 2 pinches of nutmeg;
  • 4 teaspoons of salt;
  • 3 pinches of black pepper;
  • 3 pinches of red pepper;
  • 50 gr breadcrumbs.

Step by step recipe

We take a frying pan with a thick bottom and walls, put the butter and put on fire. Cut the peeled garlic cloves into thin slices.

Put the garlic in a pan, pour in the flour and fry, stirring constantly for two minutes.

Pour in the milk, increase the heat and bring to a homogeneous thick mass. As soon as the milk boils, turn off the heat.

Adding nutmeg, a spoonful of salt, black and red pepper. Stir and simmer for fifteen minutes on the minimum heat of the stove.

Pour three liters of water into a saucepan, put three tablespoons of salt and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook until almost done.

We throw it away in a colander.

Turn off the heat on the stove, three two hundred grams of cheddar, two-thirds of the parmesan in a frying pan and mix.

Add the pasta to the prepared sauce and mix again.

Lubricate butter baking dish, lay out the blank for the casserole. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheddar and Parmesan and top with the breadcrumbs.

Bake at 180 C for thirty minutes. During this time, everything will be baked well, a beautiful golden crust will appear on the surface.
