    I love weekends! This is the time when we slowly wake up, wash ourselves, put coffee on, and have a long, long breakfast. How can this be compared to two sandwiches that we stuff into ourselves while climbing into jeans and combing our hair? Although, being on vacation, oddly enough, I miss these crazy mornings.
    But ... The most valuable thing on the weekend is that we sit down at the table with the whole family. Therefore, in addition to the standard omelet-porridge-pancakes, I always try to cook something tasty for tea. To start the day with such a positive note in every sense.
    This time I made pumpkin muffins from Jamie Oliver's book Jamie at Home. It turned out very tasty! The muffins themselves are very fragrant and have a pleasant texture, and in combination with lemon cream they are just amazing!

    Ingredients for 9 muffins:
    For test:
    200 g pulp of nutmeg pumpkin,
    125 g sugar
    2 eggs,
    150 g flour
    90 ml olive oil
    a handful of chopped nuts (I have almonds)
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    half a teaspoon of cinnamon
    a pinch of salt.
    For cream:
    2 tablespoons sour cream
    1 lemon
    powdered sugar to taste.

    Peel the pumpkin from the peel and seeds, grate on a fine grater.

    Add eggs, olive oil, sugar and salt, beat with a whisk.

    Then add flour, sifted with baking powder and cinnamon, mix. Lastly, add chopped nuts, and mix the dough again.

    Pour the dough into molds lined with paper cuffs (you can just grease vegetable oil). Fill molds 3/4 full.
    Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Remove the muffins from the mold and cool for 15-20 minutes.

    Meanwhile, prepare the cream. Mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream with the grated zest of a third of a lemon, half a teaspoon of lemon juice and powdered sugar(I put about two teaspoons).

    Pour the cooled muffins with cream right before serving (you should not do this in advance, the cream is quite liquid and spreads) and enjoy!
