We often mow the lawn near the house. It grows along the edges of the meadow. As a result of mowing, it is always renewed - new tender shoots grow in place of coarse old plants. Omelet, salad, pie, focaccia-type tortillas, homemade noodles, all kinds of salads- this is only a part of those dishes that I cook from nettles. And we eat soup with nettle and egg during the season at least once a week.

There are many recipes for nettle soups. Let's start with the simplest, and then move on to some interesting little-known variations.

The easiest recipe. Nettle soup turns out to be completely dietary - there is no “frying” in it, which means there is no fat. It can well be afforded by "losing weight" ladies, if potatoes are excluded from the composition of the products. The calorie content of such a soup is low - about 40 kcal per 100 g.

Ingredients

  • A large bunch of fresh young nettles (about 200 g);
  • 800 ml of water, chicken or meat broth;
  • two medium-sized potatoes;
