What does “environmentally friendly product” mean, and where can I buy it? The difference between ecologically pure products from ordinary ones.

Dairy products of "Ugrinskaya eco-farm", located in the nature protection zone of the Ugra National Park (which is not far from Moscow), the cows graze on private land, which belongs to a family of 4, they take care of the cows without outside help, including milking the cows by hand! Cows are fed natural hay there... Self-call from the center of Moscow is possible.
-govinda-garden.ru- in my opinion, a super kind store, it seems that there principles are more important eco-farms and a good attitude towards animals, and the prices are reasonable. Self-delivery is possible on Saturday from the Rizhskaya metro station (a 5-minute walk to the store). Eat positive feedback in a comment.

-moolookoo.ru- there are products from the nunnery. Learn more about this store.
-iorganic.ru- dairy, groceries, fruits and vegetables, household goods, etc.
-lavkalavka.com- expensive
-naturoed.ru- expensive due to logistics costs and average volumes
-sferm.ru- some say that the taste of the products there, including vegetables, is the same as in the store, although their site looks respectable. But in this comment they say that the butter is good there, but cheese and milk quickly sour (I think this is not an indicator Bad quality) and it even happens to be moldy on the 3rd day (but this is already suspicious), while the money is returned.
-a-moloko.ru
-gor-polyana.ru
-efimsybbota.ru- there is a positive comment, but the truth is not clear from whom.
-ecocitylife.ru - free delivery in Zelenograd when buying over 1000 rubles

IMPORTANT- when drinking raw milk, beware of brucellosis and E. coli, use raw milk only those cows that were not fed mainly with cereals and corn, but were fed with grass in summer and hay + sometimes vegetables in winter, grass / hay for cows is just ideal, also cows should graze on the pasture at least in summer.

List of physical shops and markets in Moscow:
-"Farmer Bazaar"- a shop that looks like a farmers' market. Located on Tsvetnoy Boulevard in Moscow. Prices are more expensive, however, than in Auchan, but it's worth it on Mondays from 10 am to 1 pm 20% discount on everything :)

There are 2 branches in Moscow ( on Kursk and on Taganka), in Tomsk, in Novosibirsk.
-cow-boys.com- 5th Donskoy passage, 21, bldg. 14. The list of farms and their owners on this site more or less inspires confidence, although I would like more details with videos and blogs of the farmers themselves, because 1-3 photos do not quite plausibly describe reality, but in general there are chances for quality products.
-indianspices.ru- spices, groceries, soy products, many real shops (Sukharevskaya, Kyiv, etc.). The store is suspicious, carefully read all the ingredients. There is a negative comment about their ghee.
-izbenka.msk.ru- I sell dairy products, there are many branches in Moscow and the Moscow region. There are doubts about the naturalness of their products, they look like industrial production (see comments).
Ideally, cows should graze in the pasture, and not stand all the time in the stall, as shown in their view. Walking in the pasture improves milk quality and makes cows healthier. Imagine yourself working all the time in your apartment with breaks for stew, absolutely not going anywhere, because you will wither quickly under such conditions. Milk from cows grazing in the wild can even be drunk raw, which is much healthier for many reasons - firstly, raw milk is alkaline, unlike pasteurized milk, in which the PH level is acidic, and secondly, there are more different benefits in raw milk. I want to add that where I live, you can often see cows grazing on the lawn if you go outside the big metropolis. It would be interesting to know - how often do you observe a similar landscape?

Recommendations when buying goods:
Pay attention to preservatives and nutritional supplements . And items like modified starch or GM soy ingredients, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate etc. (see Exxx label on food). This muck can also be present in health food stores. I do not recommend buying soy or corn products at all, since 99% of these products are GMOs, unless otherwise indicated.

Palm oil - another trend for consumers, especially among vegans. Palm oil is the cheapest and very unhealthy. It is best to use coconut, here you can buy organic, unrefined and raw Coconut oil. (Good for baking any vegetable, even potatoes, but I always cook over low heat.) About hurting others vegetable oils well written.

agave syrup harmful, you can read about it.

It is desirable to know about essential oils how the product was obtained and processed, because if, for example, inhalations are made artificial essential oils, you can only harm the body. Although for the aromatization of premises it is much better than the philistine chemistry from ordinary grocery stores.

Preference, of course, should fall on those stores that can be reached, and not order groceries far away. Firstly, if we buy our Russian, then money goes into the domestic economy. Secondly, in this way we do not use cardboard and gasoline for shipment and delivery, that is, it turns out to be more environmentally friendly.

P.S. I would love your feedback on any experience with these stores or additions to the list!

UPD: thanks to everyone for the tip on additional stores, thanks to them we can safely say what to lead healthy lifestyle life in Moscow is possible, although I would like to see more physical stores, because buying live, in my opinion, is easier and more enjoyable.

Excessive consumerism:
- Blue China (why having cheap jeans is not sustainable)

"Do it yourself" detergents:
- Eco-friendly detergents (why buy if you can make detergents on your own, which is much easier and more economical?)

on the topic of: "Environmentally friendly products"

Donetsk 2009

In our modern time, when the air, water and earth are polluted with products of human vital activity and the ecological situation, despite all the efforts of mankind, continues to deteriorate, people are starting to think more and more about their health.

There is a Chinese proverb - "Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you who you are." This proverb most accurately characterizes the relationship between the food you eat and how you look and feel.

In the food market today there are a lot of proposals on the topic of "healthy eating". Starting from all kinds of pills, powders (BAA) and ending with products with an optimally selected diet. But, no one can answer the question which of them are really useful and most effective, for one simple reason: there are so many people on the planet earth and there can be so many options for the impact of these products on them.

So is there one single solution to the problem of healthy eating?

Yes, it exists, and like everything ingenious it is simple. To do this, it is necessary to grow products in an environmentally friendly environment and package them in an environmentally friendly way.

Why is this particular option the only one?

The answer to this question is simple. Products created by nature without human intervention in the process, contain all the necessary substances for life in the most complete and balanced way. human body. In this case, you can apply the phrase "made by nature." And this phrase will most fully and capaciously contain the answer to your question.

What is an environmentally friendly environment?

Where and how are the standards and criteria for an environmentally friendly environment established?

The European certification system can give us the answer to this question.

In 1980, the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM) established the Basic Standards for Organic Production (IBS).

Here are some of them:

· cultivation of land for at least three years should be carried out without the use of chemical fertilizers;

seeds for organic farming must be adapted to local conditions, resistant to pests and weeds and, most importantly, not be genetically modified.

· Soil fertility should be maintained with a varied crop rotation and biodegradable fertilizers of exclusively microbiological, vegetable or animal origin.

· the use of herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, nitrogen-containing and other chemical fertilizers is prohibited.

physical barriers, noise, ultrasound, light, traps, special temperature regime etc.;

· When raising livestock to obtain Organic meat, it is prohibited to use antibiotics and growth hormones;

· Farmers must register any animal treatment. Treatment records are reviewed annually by certifying bodies;

the use of radiation and genetic engineering in the production of Organic products is strictly prohibited;

· if a product is labeled as Organic, its manufacturer is obliged to use 100% organic ingredients;

“So it is in Europe, but our nature is much cleaner and apples from the “favorite garden” are much tastier and healthier,” you might say.

Yes, everything is correct, and tastier and healthier, but only who checked it, where does the confidence in this come from? Where is the guarantee and criteria, which is more useful?

Unfortunately, no one can give you guarantees. There are no criteria yet.

There are many voluntary certification schemes that will make your ordinary products "environmentally friendly" for a "modest fee". At the same time, these voluntary organizations have their own criteria for evaluating products. Whether they have the right criteria or not, at the moment it is impossible to figure out, since there is no law that sets the standards for Organic products.

As a result, we have many Russian food products that use terms to increase sales of their products. European standards. Who among us has not seen juices, kefir, mayonnaise on store shelves, and this list can be continued for a long time, with the designations "BIO", "BIO", "Environmentally safe product”, “Checked by environmental expertise”, etc. In fact, it turns out that our consumer is being misled, simply saying "they are fooling our brother, gentlemen, marketers."

At the same time, in many European countries, at the state level, organic product standards have been introduced. A system has been created to monitor the implementation and compliance with these standards.

How can our customer figure out which products on store shelves are really Organic?

The simplest and fast way it is to find one of the badges of European certification bodies on the product label. Here are examples of some of them:

Organic Agriculture - EC Management System European Union In March 2000, the European Organic Commission introduced this emblem. It is used exclusively voluntarily by those manufacturers whose products comply with the European Union standard system adopted in 1991.
Bio-Siegel (Environmental Seal) Germany In 2001, the German Federal Ministry for Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture introduced a national label - Bio-Siegel (Environmental Seal), which identifies the products of enterprises that adhere to the requirements of the EU regulation.
Agriculture Biologique (Ecological products) France France was one of the first European countries to introduce a national sign for organic products nutrition, which has replaced private labeling systems and is the property of the French Ministry of Agriculture. The application of this logo on goods is allowed after signing an agreement with the owner of the mark and fulfilling all the requirements established by EU law. The mark may also be applied to organic products from other countries, subject to the requirements of French legislation for farms using organic methods. However, products plant origin must be made in the European Union, except for exotic ones.
Valvottua tuotantoa/Kontrollerad ekoproduktion (Certified Organic) Finland This state mark is issued by the Finnish Crop Inspection Center
Sweden In Sweden, the only accredited control organization is KRAV. Its standard is more stringent than the requirements stipulated by European legislation. Issued by the Swedish Society for Agricultural Control. The mark is also found on products produced outside of Sweden (coffee, tea, fruit).
Netherlands This mark is issued by the Dutch State Inspection Authority called Skal.
United States Department of Agriculture USA This mark has been licensed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) since 2002 under the National Organic Program (NOP)
Finland This sign from ladybug Issued by Finland's private certifying authority, Luomuliito. Most often this sign is found on vegetables.
Europe, America, Africa, New Zealand The environmental certification standard Demeter, which appeared in 1924 on the basis of the work of Rudolf Steiner ("Spiritual and scientific foundations for the successful development of agriculture"), became the first world standard for organic agriculture. The presence of the Demeter biodynamic production mark on the product packaging not only characterizes special conditions strict control at all stages of product creation according to Organic standards, but also reflects a special approach to careful and careful farming, taking into account many natural features (moon phases, seasons, etc.), incl. care for the cleanliness and preservation of soils and the environment. Demeter International currently has 18 member organizations in Europe, America, Africa and New Zealand.

And what about our environmentally friendly packaging?

This issue is no less serious, but easier to resolve.

Why serious?

Yes, because, no matter how environmentally friendly products are produced, if the packaging is toxic, it will spoil us, the quality of the products that we were so striving for.

Why is it easy to solve?

What is environmentally friendly packaging, it is such packaging that comes into the least contact with the products in it, without changing quality properties products. Today, the packaging market can offer many options for solving environmentally friendly product packaging. At the same time, packaging manufacturing and production technologies are constantly being improved.

Environmentally friendly products- those products in which the content harmful substances less than in conventional "standard" products, corresponding in quality to the necessary regulatory documents, in particular MPC.

An environmentally friendly product is one that is obtained in a clean area without additional use mineral fertilizers, pesticides and other man-made impacts; or is it a product obtained from natural raw materials according to modern technology, which ensures minimal ingress of other substances into the product, practically free of foreign inclusions.

Environmentally friendly (natural) products are crops without chemical fertilizers, without pesticides, these are animals fed with grain and grass grown without chemical additives.

In their formulation, the use of genetically modified organisms, synthetic preservatives, artificial flavors and flavor enhancers, and the raw materials for them are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pest and weed control agents, hormones and antibiotics. The internal structure of organic products is not destroyed chemical additives and harsh processing methods, so their taste is natural.

    A fresh organic product contains on average 50% more vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other microorganisms than a traditionally grown product.

    Ecological fruits and vegetables are juicy and fragrant. These products are rich natural taste without chemical impurities - a taste that returns you to childhood.

    The ecological product is not covered with a layer of chemicals and does not shine from wax. On average, a standard grown apple has 20-30 known poisons on its skin. It is almost impossible to wash off the wax layer, and bad taste will still remain.

    Ecological products useful not only for ourselves. Many of the chemicals found in traditional foods can accumulate over time in a woman's body and be passed on to her unborn children. Yes and the immune system child does not protect him from those poisons that adults can consume every day. Don't be selfish

Ecological or bio-products are products that are produced in accordance with organic farming standards:

    without pesticides

    without synthetic feed additives and growth regulators,

Environmentally friendly product is a food product that is made from natural raw materials using modern technology that ensures minimal ingress of other substances into the product, does not contain foreign inclusions, and is obtained without the use of mineral fertilizers, pesticides and in the absence of technogenic impacts. With food, 70–90% of all potentially harmful substances enter the human body. In this regard, the idea of E.ch.p. was born as a certain anti-culture, a protest against the pollution of nature. Thus, the national American standards for clean products include several prohibitions on: the use of artificially created chemical fertilizers, the use of genetic modification technologies, the use of growth and fattening stimulants, antibiotics and hormonal drugs, as well as the use of organic-based feed. Market environmentally clean products, as a rule, is under scrutiny from business and society. People are explained in detail what are the advantages of organic food (organic food) and why it is worth overpaying for it. Assortment E.ch.p. in ordinary American stores, is about 400 items. The organic industry offers an alternative to almost every product on the traditional market. The most popular categories are:

  • coffee, tea, fruits and vegetables, both fresh and processed;
  • some spices, dried fruits and nuts;
  • seasonal products: fresh fruits and vegetables that use high demand during certain periods of the year;
  • environmentally friendly substitutes traditional products: bakery products, dairy and meat products, organic drinks and wines, etc.;
  • environmentally friendly products for children ( baby food, cereals, etc.);
  • environmentally friendly clothes and cosmetics.

Each group of E.ch.p. has a special priority: frozen products, semi-finished products and prepared food- by 39% per year, baby food 38%, bakery products and cereals 37%, dairy and meat products 36%.

The formation of the ESP market is taking place in the Russian Federation, the prospects for its development in our country are great. The following problems are a certain brake on the territory of Russia: the high cost of ecological agricultural production projects due to the lack of the necessary equipment for applying certified fertilizers and their proper storage, lack of equipment for mechanical weeding and pruning of branches, sprinkling systems. The financial costs required for the introduction of these technologies are estimated at $200-1000 per 1 ha for cereals and $5000-8000 per 1 ha for fruit cultivation; lack of certified lands (account in the Russian Federation for only 0.003% of the area of all agricultural land with total area 406 million ha). Their certification may take a little time, provided that field histories and other documentation are properly maintained, and soil chemistry is consistent. acceptable levels; increased time costs and costs for the production of environmentally friendly products, which are several times higher than the time costs for the production of conventional products; pre-sale preparation of goods, their storage and shipment. The volumes of environmentally friendly products are still relatively small, so there is the option of mixing it with another - inorganic products. The main factor hindering the development of this market in Russia is the lack of state standards and certification of E.P.C. in line with the international level and strict legal framework.
