If you have tempered the chocolate correctly and the room is cool, it will take about 15 minutes for the shells to harden. If the products are large in size, then it will take more time.

In the most extreme cases, you can put the mold in the refrigerator to speed up the crystallization process, I don’t advise you to do this, but if it’s very hot and you can’t cope with it, then - well, use the refrigerator, what now)

For a large sink, roll out the white mastic into a layer about 4-6 mm thick. Cut out two identical pieces in a round shape with scalloped edges.

Place a toothpick in the center of the workpiece, so that 1.5-2 cm remains free (without mastic). Crumple a piece of foil so that its surface becomes "crumpled". Lay the piece of coral on the foil, and roll it between two sheets of foil. The result is the most natural texture with indentations and roughness.


Prepare a few more details in the same way. To dry, use a foam sheet where toothpicks are easily stuck.


Corals are made up of many "branches", so they also need to be molded and textured. Having made one branch, immediately glue it to the main (vertical) part of the coral, lubricating the junction with confectionery glue or plain water ( a small amount). Decorate the main details with the desired number of "branches". Tip: do not sculpt several branches at once - they dry quickly and cannot be glued without damage.


While the corals are drying, you can start sculpting the starfish. For her, you need to roll a ball out of a small piece mastics. Flatten the resulting part and form the corners with your fingers: first, push the recesses with a toothpick, dividing into segments, then pull out the corners, smoothing them so that they look rounded.


Using a toothpick, give the starfish a loose texture (like a sponge). Bend the edges of the part to different sides so that it does not seem flat, but the most natural.


Roll up small peas and glue in the center of the starfish in the form of a branch: the largest peas in the middle, and smaller ones along the edges. Do the same for several starfish.


For a shell, roll a small ball out of a piece of mastic, form a drop out of it and flatten it. Round the edges.


Using a stack or toothpick, make grooves, imitating a natural texture. Give the shell a convex shape. Blind other shells in the same way.

First of all, we will knead the dough for a honey cake. To do this, melt 60 g of butter in a water bath, 2 tbsp. honey, 1 glass of sugar, mix everything and add well beaten 3 eggs. Then add 1 tbsp. vodka and 2 tsp. soda. Stir vigorously until foam rises.

Add 2.5 cups of flour, mix and remove from the water bath. Pour the dough onto a table sprinkled with flour. Divide into 10-12 parts. Roll out each piece as thin as possible.

Bake 3 minutes, until yellow-brown.

And now the most important thing is to make decorations from mastic in the form sea ​​shells. To do this, knead the mastic. We need 15 g of gelatin per 100 g of water.

Pour over, leave for 40 minutes to swell, melt over a fire, but do not boil, add enough powder so that you can sculpt and roll out.

So, let's start making the first shell. To do this, roll out the mastic, press down on the shell (I cut it out with a real shell) and cut it out.
