Salad with crab sticks, corn and Korean carrots

I love salads - when preparing them, you can experiment as much as you like: with ingredients, dressing, serving ... It happens, of course, when my impulses are not always successful, but, in fairness, I must say, this happens extremely rarely. More often than not, something new and interesting comes out.

Then I want to repeat such recipes again and again - for home, for guest friends, for relatives. One of these is a cocktail salad with crab sticks, corn and Korean carrots - light, tasty and very appetizing.

Ingredients:

For 1 serving:

  • 1 st. l. mayonnaise;
  • 1 st. l. sour cream;
  • 2-3 sprigs of dill;
  • 2 tbsp. l. canned corn;
  • 30 g of hard cheese;
  • 30 gr carrots in Korean;
  • 3-4 crab sticks;
  • greenery for decoration.

Cooking:

First, prepare the salad dressing. Combine sour cream and mayonnaise.

Dill wash, dry and cut into small pieces.

Add dill to sour cream and mayonnaise.

Mix dill, mayonnaise and sour cream. This will be our gas station. Set it aside for now and move on to the rest of the salad ingredients.

Crab sticks cut into small cubes.

Korean carrots are also cut into medium-sized pieces. This is of great importance - if you leave the carrots uncut (in the form of long strips), the salad will be inconvenient to eat.

Three hard cheese on a medium grater.

Now you can start shaping the salad. We will lay it in layers. Well, since we are preparing a cocktail salad, we will use glass bowls as dishes for it - each serving has its own bowl. The first layer is crab sticks.

On top of the crab sticks, we need to lay out a layer of dressing. As for the quantity, for this layer we use a third of the entire mixture.

The next layer is canned corn.

And again we need to put a layer of dressing: it again needs a third of the total, that is, half of the rest.

Now lay out the carrots in Korean.

After carrots - a layer of dressing. We post all that's left.

And last we arrange grated cheese.

We certainly decorate the salad with greens - a sprig of dill, parsley or chopped green onions. This will give the dish a finished look.
