To freeze peaches for a child, we need the following:

  • blender

How to freeze peaches for a child:

We sort and wash the peaches. We select only the most ripe, juicy and sweet fruits. We'll be making sugar-free peach puree, so try to buy the sweetest peaches you can find.

Peaches are cut into four parts, we take out the stone, and clean from the skin. In crushed form, the skin of peaches gives an unnecessary aftertaste, so it is imperative to get rid of the skin.

Pour peach puree into clean, dry baby food jars. It is most convenient to use jars with a volume of 50-70 ml.

We screw the jars with lids, and put them in the freezer.

How to use frozen peach puree jars:

Remove jars of puree from the freezer a few hours in advance and leave at room temperature. If you forgot to get it in advance, it's okay. You need to lower the jar of puree into a pot of cold water and leave for 30 minutes.

If you used sweet and ripe peaches, then add pure puree to porridge, yogurt, cottage cheese or kefir. If the peach puree tastes sour and the child refuses to eat, you can add a little banana or applesauce.

When thawed, fresh peach puree does not store well, even in the refrigerator: it darkens and becomes sour. Therefore, you need to use one jar at a time.
