How to make jam from rose petals

Rose jam is very popular among Russians. Thanks to the beneficial substances contained in the delicacy, most ailments can be cured. The treat is often used as a filling in confectionery products and consumed with tea.

Classic rose jam recipe

  • rose petals (optional) - 320 gr.
  • filtered water - 1.4 l.
  • sugar - 635 gr.
  1. Remove the petals from the rose buds, trim off the white edge and any dry elements. Rinse the product and dry with a waffle towel.
  2. Take a metal bowl, grind rose petals and 100 gr. granulated sugar. Pour the resulting sweet liquid into a small container.
  3. Boil water in a separate saucepan, add the remaining sugar. Boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes. Remove the container from the stove and cool the contents naturally.
  4. Place the petals in a separate heat-resistant container and fill them with the prepared syrup. Turn the stove on high and wait until it boils. Next, turn the burner down to minimum.
  5. Boil the treat for 5-7 minutes. Stir the contents constantly and skim off any foam that forms. After a while, pour in fresh rose juice.
  6. Mix the ingredients again, simmer the product over low heat for about 15-20 minutes, the composition should thicken a little. After this, the jam is rolled up in the usual way.

Rose petal jam with honey and nuts

  • flower honey - 95 ml.
  • tea rose (petals) - 175 gr.
  • nuts (assorted) - 65 gr.
  • hot water - 200 ml.
  1. If necessary, peel the nuts and place in a coffee grinder. Grind the product into crumbs. Prepare rose petals, sort and rinse. Then wipe and remove moisture.
  2. Place the saucepan on the stove, add rose petals, pour in hot water. Boil the product for at least 20-25 minutes. Place the pan with the contents aside and leave to steep for 20-22 hours.
  3. After the specified time, add viscous honey to the petals. Return the pink product to the burner and cook until the syrup is smooth.
  4. 3-4 minutes before complete cooking, add chopped assorted nuts. Pour into glass containers and roll up. Store in a suitable place.

Rose jam with strawberries

  • rose petals (fragrant) - 170 gr.
  • granulated sugar - 420 gr.
  • purified water - 260 ml.
  • ripe strawberries - 110 gr.
  • citric acid - 7 gr.
  1. When buying strawberries, try to choose small, flavorful berries. Remove the sepals and rinse the fruits in a colander with running water. Wait until the strawberries dry and place them in an enamel-lined saucepan.
  2. Add 150 g to the berries. sugar, mix the ingredients thoroughly. Leave the contents of the pan for 6-8 hours. In the allotted time, strawberry juice will be released and sugar will dissolve. The result will be a sweet syrup.
  3. During your free time, sterilize jars and metal lids using classical technology. Treat rose petals, get rid of wilted and dried specimens. Rinse the product, then allow any excess moisture to drain.
  4. Place the rose petals in a small plate. Sprinkle 4 gr. citric acid. Grind the ingredients and leave for 15-20 minutes. Use a clean metal pan, pour drinking water and the remaining granulated sugar into it.
  5. Boil the mixture over medium heat until the particles dissolve. The result is a sweet syrup. Set the contents aside, add the remaining citric acid, and mix the hot mass thoroughly.
  6. Place rose petals and sugar-soaked berries into the final mixture. Place the ingredients on the stove and cook the mixture for 7 minutes after the first bubbles appear. When the time is up, set the ingredients aside until they cool completely.
  7. Reboil the sweet mass as described above. Do the manipulation a total of 4-5 times. Make sure the strawberries remain whole. Once the composition has cooled completely, roll it up using the usual method.

Pink jam with tangerines in a slow cooker

  • water - 275 ml.
  • powdered sugar - 465 gr.
  • large tangerines - 3 pcs.
  • fragrant roses (petals) - 245 gr.
  1. Wash the pink petals, trim off the white part and any limp or dry edges. Remove the peel from the tangerines and remove the seeds if necessary.
  2. Add prepared foods and filtered water to food processor. Process the ingredients until smooth. Place the mixture in a multi-bowl.
  3. Set the multicooker to the “Cooking” program and set the cooking time to about 15-20 minutes. Manipulate with the lid open.
  4. After a certain time, start gradually mixing in the powdered sugar. Achieve uniformity of the composition. Repeat the cooking procedure for 40 minutes. Next, roll up the product.

Rose jam with rosehip leaves

  • granulated sugar - 1.3 kg.
  • citric acid - 3 gr.
  • rosehip petals (flowers) - 240 gr.
  • tea rose (petals) - 420 gr.
  • water - 225 ml.
  1. Transfer the prepared plant petals into a ceramic container, add 300 g. Sahara. Lightly grind the products and set aside for 1.5-2 hours.
  2. After a few hours, sprinkle the ingredients with lemon acid and mix again. Allow the ingredients to steep for 5-6 hours.
  3. Next, start cooking the syrup. Pour water into the saucepan and add the remaining sand. Wait for the food to boil, reduce the heat, and simmer the mixture for 20 minutes.
  4. Don't forget to mix the composition. Once the petals have steeped, add them along with the juice to the pan with the hot syrup.
  5. Boil the delicacy for about half an hour. Roll the treat into heat-treated containers. Once cooled, store the rose jam refrigerated.

  • fresh lemon - 65 ml.
  • purified water - 245 ml.
  • granulated sugar - 975 gr.
  1. If necessary, rinse the petals with running water and dry on a waffle towel. Place the pan on the fire, pour in water and stir in sand. Wait until it boils, immerse the rose petals.
  2. Wait until bubbles appear again, turn off the stove, and leave the product overnight. After a while, boil the composition again, if necessary, remove the resulting coating.
  3. Simmer the sweet mass over medium heat for 25-35 minutes. Mix the ingredients systematically. As soon as the liquid acquires a thick consistency, you should pour in fresh lemon juice.
  4. Boil the treat for a few minutes and roll using the classic technology. Store in a room with a temperature below room temperature.

Rose petal and orange jam

  • large orange - 1 pc.
  • pink leaves (fragrant) - 135 gr.

  1. Place the washed and dried rose petals in a metal cup. Cut the orange into two sections and squeeze the juice out of the pulp. Pour the resulting fresh juice over the rose petals.
