Jelly with vodka for corporate party recipes. Alcoholic jellies - shots

Alcoholic jelly (shot or layered cocktail) is the king of any exclusive evening, but the paradox is that sooner or later many people want to create a recipe for an alcoholic masterpiece on their own.

Any shots are digestif, that is, a drink that enhances the digestive process. The whole uniqueness of the recipe lies in the arrangement of jelly in non-mixing layers. Therefore, it is necessary that it consists of ingredients of different colors. A successful recipe for making a layered cocktail will turn out while observing the density of drinks.

Shots are basically liquor, a drink that is thick enough to keep the layers from mixing. The next most popular ingredients from which shots are made are champagne and.

A similar effect of integrity will be created by the densest pomegranate or raspberry syrup, which is mostly called Grenadine. A beginner should learn how to cook a universal recipe for alcoholic jelly and only then trust their own imagination.

To prepare you need…

  1. Prepare dishes. Best of all, ready-made shots look in glasses, piles, but you need to serve spoons with them. It is more convenient to serve alcoholic jelly in paper molds.
  2. To study the density of drinks. The main secret of the difference in the density of drinks in the sugar content. The lower the amount of sugar contained, the lower the density of the drink.
  3. The presence of all components of the cocktail. For convenience, professional bartenders recommend setting the entire composition included in the recipe in the required sequence, according to density.
  4. Use of measuring utensils. All drinks can be poured into jigerras in the required volume in advance, so it will be easier to drain them.

Universal recipe for beginners

This recipe is simple and the cooking method is quick. And it does not require many different components. It is necessary to prepare gelatin, hot water and an alcoholic drink, vodka, tequila, whiskey are fine, but wine or champagne is acceptable.

Beginners should follow simple compatibility rules:

  • vodka goes well with either, and cognac with apple, tequila with lemon;
  • fruit pieces can be added to the jelly, which will add color to the finished product;
  • it is strictly necessary to observe the proportional compatibility of one serving of alcohol for two servings of water, and with a large amount of alcohol, the layered cocktail will lose its taste.

So, two tablespoons of gelatin are diluted according to the instructions in eight tablespoons of hot water. The resulting solution is cooled to 35ºС and thoroughly mixed with five tablespoons of alcohol. Then the resulting masterpiece can be poured into simple plastic cups, sent to the refrigerator and start preparing another kind of jelly. By this time, the first layer will thicken and you can pour a new one.

Before serving, alcoholic jelly must be removed from the refrigerator and allowed to thaw. Having mastered the technology of preparing such a cocktail, it will be possible to change the recipe at the discretion of your own imagination, and vary different mixtures of jelly and alcohol flavors.

Most Popular Shot

The popularity of this cocktail - "Margarita" - is ensured not only by the ease of preparation, but also by its unusual taste. In advance, you need to prepare gelatin (35 g), boiled water (40 ml), lime and granulated sugar, 3/4 cup of tequila, as well as three tablespoons of liquor with watermelon and apple flavors.

Of course, you need to start by preparing a hot gelatin solution, which is mixed with cold water and alcohol. Next, two tablespoons of sugar are mixed with the juice of one lime and added to the gelatin syrup. The resulting solution is heated until the gelatin is completely dissolved and tequila is added.

The resulting mixture is divided in half into one part with the addition of watermelon liqueur and the second - with apple liqueur. Both masses are poured into measuring cups and frozen.

In conclusion, I would like to remind you that the immoderate use of alcoholic jelly threatens with a severe morning hangover.

Video recipe for making alcoholic jelly

Do you want to surprise friends and family at a party or a festive feast by combining an unusual dessert and an aperitif? Then alcoholic jelly is exactly what you need, because it not only combines the jelly texture loved by many, but is also complemented by a light degree of alcohol. If you wish, you can decorate such a dessert so elegantly and unusually that it will become a real decoration of the table.

Necessary for creativity in cooking with alcohol

First, let's decide what we need to make alcoholic jelly.

  • Any alcohol from champagne and wine, to vodka, rum and tequila - it all depends on your preferences and the desired strength. Jellies from various liqueurs are also very tasty.
  • Ready-made jelly from semi-finished products with different flavors (kiwi, orange, raspberry) or a bag of gelatin.
  • Creamers, glasses or small silicone molds. The main condition is that the higher the alcohol content in the jelly, the smaller one serving should be in size. For a very strong one, choose the volume of shots or silicone molds for ice.
  • Berries and fruits - cherries with cuttings, strawberries, canned peaches or pineapples for decoration. We try to match the taste of jelly with the taste of the fruits served to it or, conversely, set it off. For example, it is good to decorate a lemon or orange with zest, and to offer a cherry or chopped kiwi for a cherry.

So, now that everything is at hand, you can start creating jelly with alcohol.

Alcoholic vodka jelly

Option 1

Let's start with the easiest recipe to make. You can replace strong alcohol with tincture, rum or tequila. Most importantly, the fortress should be at least 40 ° C.

Ingredients

  • Flavored jelly (ready-made) - 1 pack;
  • Water - 250 ml;
  • Vodka - 125 ml;

Step by step cooking

  1. Pour the right amount of hot water from the kettle into a deep bowl and pour a bag of jelly into it. Stir well so that the grains are completely dissolved.
  2. Let it cool a little, up to 50-60 ° C and pour in vodka. Mix gently again and pour into small molds.

You can use neat "piles" - from them the jelly will have to be eaten with spoons, or poured into silicone molds for ice. In this case, after solidification, we take out the jelly and arrange it beautifully on a plate.

Since vodka jelly is sweet, you can dust it with orange zest, garnish with lime wedges or canned peaches when serving.

Option 2

We take all the ingredients 2 times more. We need jelly from the package in different flavors and colors. We combine, for example, raspberries and lemons.

  • First, we prepare alcoholic jelly from one bag, dissolving it in 1 glass of water and adding 125 ml of vodka.
  • Pour into creamers and let cool.
  • Then we make from another and fill it with a second layer. Also refrigerate.
  • Inside you can put raspberries and chopped lemon slices.

In this option, you can also use creamers - jelly will play beautifully in them in layers and silicone molds - taking out a ready-made dessert from them, we will also enjoy the play of color.

Wine jelly, homemade recipe

Those who do not like strong alcohol should like the soft and unobtrusive shade of red or white wine in dessert.

Option 1

Ingredients

  • Semi-sweet red wine - 1 glass;
  • Gelatin - 25 g;
  • Orange - 1 pc.;
  • Water - 350 ml;
  • Sugar - 1 cup;
  • Vanillin - on the tip of a knife.

Cooking

  1. Fill a bag of gelatin with a small amount of water, as it is written in the instructions, as a rule, it is 1: 2 and let it stand for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Pour water into a small pot and bring to a boil. Dissolve all sugar.
  3. Peel the orange and cut into large pieces. We send them to sweet water, add wine and vanillin there. Keep on low heat for 2 minutes, turn off.
  4. We heat the gelatin, in no case bringing to a boil until the grains are completely dissolved.
  5. Pour it into the cooled wine-orange mixture, take out pieces of fruit and pour into glasses.

Decorate wine jelly as you wish.

Option 2

Let's prepare an alcoholic dessert in a similar way with dry white wine and canned pineapples.

  • We prepare gelatin in the same way as in the previous recipe and, while it swells, we are engaged in wine.
  • We drain the juice from the jar of pineapples, bring the volume to 350 ml with water if necessary (and, if you want to get a stronger composition, with wine) and pour alcohol. Let's try sugar. If desired, add 1 - 2 tsp. and, so that it disperses, we warm it up a little.
  • We put the swollen gelatin in a water bath and completely dissolve. We combine everything, mix and pour into bowls.
  • We cut the pineapple rings into slices and carefully, with a teaspoon, put a few pieces in each glass.

We put the finished jelly in the refrigerator. It will turn out not only tasty, but also very beautiful.

Delicious alcoholic champagne jelly

For the most festive day, you can do something completely unusual. The bubble structure of champagne and fresh berries will give you an unforgettable experience.

Ingredients

  • Champagne - 1 glass;
  • Fresh strawberries - ½ cup;
  • Water - 3 tablespoons;
  • Gelatin - 10 g;
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp.

Preparation of aristocratic alcoholic jelly

  1. Dissolve sugar in hot water and then pour gelatin into it. Let stand for at least 20 minutes.
  2. We clean the strawberries from greens, rinse thoroughly and let them drain first in a colander, and then on a paper towel. Berries must be completely dry.
  3. We heat the gelatin in a water bath so that the grains disappear.
  4. Pour champagne into the cooled mass, stir so that the foam settles a little, and pour into silicone molds or bowls. We fill them 1/3 and put them in the freezer for 10 minutes so that the layer hardens.
  5. We take out the forms and lay out the strawberries in an even layer. Add the remaining jelly mixture and remove now in the refrigerator for 2 - 3 hours.

Spectacular champagne jelly is ready!

Feed options

Instead of strawberries, you can take any other soft berries or fruits. We suggested 1 layer, but you can make several 4 or 5, laying out slices or berries in each.

But if there is nothing at hand, we will make another, no less interesting option.

Prepare the jelly mixture as indicated in the recipe, and then pour it into a large rectangular shape, let it harden completely and cut it into cubes with a sharp knife. Very carefully, using a spatula and a knife, arrange them in tall glasses and decorate with powdered sugar, coconut flakes or ice cream cream or whipped cream.

Guests will be surprised by such a spectacular serving of the usual drink!

Liquor jelly

It is a huge variety of flavors to choose from. You can make your own jelly pina colada or creamy baileys. Shall we try?

Option 1: Baileys

  1. Pour in a ratio of 1:1 3 tbsp. gelatin with boiled water and leave to swell.
  2. Brew 1 cup of coffee without milk, but with sugar to taste, or make instant, let cool. You can use coffee bags with different flavors.
  3. In a glass of cream with 20% fat, we dilute vanillin and, if desired, sugar.
  4. Pour a glass of Baileys liqueur and set aside.
  5. Now that everything is ready, warm up and completely dissolve the gelatin. We divide it into 3 parts and pour each into liquor, coffee and cream. Stir and pour coffee into bowls or molds first.
  6. We put it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes so that the jelly grabs, take it out and make the 2nd layer of baileys, also let it harden and finish the dessert with a creamy layer.
  7. We remove the jelly in the refrigerator for an hour and a half.
  8. Decorate with whipped cream, sprinkle with chocolate chips and coffee beans.

If you want the layers to set faster, pour the jelly not into glasses, but fill it with a rectangular shape. We also make it in layers, and then cut it into cubes. To make the dessert easily move away from the mold, put it in hot water for a minute.

Option 2: "Pinacolada"

We'll need

  • Coconut liqueur (you can buy it, or you can make it yourself) - 200 ml;
  • Pineapple juice (from a can) - 200 ml;
  • Lime juice - 50 ml.

Cooking

1.5 tbsp soak the gelatin as directed in the instructions and leave to swell. Then we dissolve it in a water bath and pour ½ into the coconut liqueur - this will be our first layer. We fill them with creamers and put them in the cold.

In the meantime, squeeze the juice from the lime and mix it with pineapple, pour in the remaining gelatin. Cut canned pineapple into slices.

We check whether the liqueur jelly has frozen and, if so, pour the tropical mixture on top and carefully lay out the chopped pineapples.

Put in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Decorate the finished jelly with whipped cream, coconut flakes and a lime wedge. Bon appetit!

You see how easy it is to prepare alcoholic jelly, how varied and unusual it can be. The main thing is not to be afraid to experiment and try something new!

Sexy jelly for February 14, dessert for Valentine's Day

Making jelly at home is very simple, and serving this dessert beautifully is already aerobatics. Our chef offers a simple agar jelly recipe and an original serving.

Are you planning a holiday, a party or a friendly get-together? Do you want to cook something interesting and unusual? Try making jelly shots!

To do this, you do not need a lot of money or physical effort. The process of making jelly shots is not much different from making regular jelly. But in the end you get a beautiful and tasty dessert with a little surprise… which you will only know about tomorrow :)

You can “gelatinize” almost any liquid: water, juices, soda, homemade lemonade, fruit puree and even alcoholic drinks. To prevent guests from accidentally getting drunk, jelly shots should be made with the addition of a small amount of alcohol. Then you get a really tasty and good dessert.

Basic formula for making jelly shots:

1 cup alcoholic drink + 1 cup soft drink + 5.5 teaspoons gelatin x 4 hours refrigeration = 16 x 30 grams jellies
The formula shows the maximum amount of alcohol that can be used. Do not add more, as this may prevent the gelatin from developing its properties. You can experiment and reduce the strength of the dessert as much as you like, or use lighter drinks such as wine or vermouth. The amount of added gelatin does not change.

What forms can be used to make jelly shots:

silicone molds or molds for ice cubes;
plastic trays for ice;
forms for muffins (mini-cupcakes);
small paper or plastic cups;
a saucepan or a deep baking sheet (when cooling, the jelly will need to be cut into cubes);
fruits: strawberries, lemons, oranges and others (a small depression is made where the jelly is poured).
Raspberry lemonade jelly shots

Ingredients for 32 Jelly Shots:

For lemonade jelly:
2-3 large lemons;
1/3 cup sugar;
3 tablespoons of orange juice;

1/2 glass of vodka.

For raspberry jelly:
350 grams of fresh raspberries;
1/4 cup sugar;
about 5 1/2 teaspoons gelatin;
1/2 glass of vodka.

Equipment:

saucepan (deep bowl);
whisk;
blender;
fine sieve;
molds from lemon peels;
silicone molds for mini-cupcakes (if lemon peels are not used).

Cooking process:

1. Squeeze the juice and remove the pulp from the lemons
Cut the lemons in half and squeeze the juice out of them. You should have about half a glass of juice. Then carefully, using a spoon, remove the seeds, pulp, membranes.

2. Prepare forms
If silicone molds are used, they should be lightly sprayed with oil, and then each mold should be wiped with a paper towel.

3. Soften the gelatin
Combine lemon juice, sugar, and orange juice with 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan or deep bowl. Pour gelatin on top and leave for 5 minutes. The gelatin should soften and the surface of the liquid should become slightly wrinkled.

4. Warm up and dissolve gelatin
We put the mass on medium heat and heat, stirring, until the sugar and gelatin are completely dissolved. This will take about 2-3 minutes. Be careful: the mixture should not boil! To check if the gelatin has dissolved, try to rub the mass between your fingers. If it is slippery and smooth, then everything is ready. If grains of sugar or gelatin are still felt, return the mass to the fire for another 30 seconds.

5. Add alcohol
Add vodka to the gelatin mass.

6. Fill in lemon peels or molds
Place each lemon half into mini cupcake liners. Fill each lemon hole halfway with the lemonade-vodka mixture and refrigerate. You can arrange the crusts at an angle, then the jelly will become even more bizarre. Or fill silicone molds: If we use silicone molds instead of lemon peels, then we also fill them halfway with lemonade-vodka mixture and put in the refrigerator.

7. Making Raspberry Puree
Puree raspberries with sugar in a blender. Then we filter the resulting mixture through a fine sieve, trying to get as much juice as possible (using a spatula or spoon). You should end up with about 1 cup of raspberry juice.

8. Soften the gelatin
Pour the raspberry juice into a small saucepan along with half a glass of water. Pour gelatin on top and leave for 5 minutes. The gelatin should soften and the surface of the liquid should become slightly wrinkled.

9. Warm up and dissolve gelatin
We put the mass on medium heat and heat, stirring, until the sugar and gelatin are completely dissolved. This will take about 2-3 minutes. Be careful: the mixture should not boil!

10. Checking the Gelatin
We double check whether the gelatin has dissolved according to the method described above.

11. Add alcohol
Mix the finished gelatinous mass with vodka.

12. Making the Raspberry Layer
We check how the lemonade jelly is doing in the refrigerator. If it is still liquid, then leave it in the refrigerator. The jelly shots are ready for the second layer when their surface is hardened, but still slightly sticky on top when touched with a finger. When the lemonade jelly shots are ready, carefully pour the raspberry-vodka layer on top. We return the forms to the refrigerator and cool for another 2-4 hours, but it is better to leave them in the refrigerator overnight.

13. Cut or Break Jelly Shots
If the jelly shots are in lemon peels, then cut them into slices - as if cutting an apple. If the jelly shots are in silicone molds, leave them for 15 minutes at room temperature, and then dip the bottom of the mold in warm water for 10 seconds. After that, the jelly shots should easily fall off the mold.

A couple of last notes:

If you don't want to mess around with two layers, then fill out the forms completely, send them to the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
According to the basic formula, you can use your favorite juice or liquor and follow steps 1 to 6.
Each of the 32 jelly shots prepared according to the recipe described above will contain approximately 15 ml of alcohol.

Have fun experimenting!

If guests often come to you, you spend time at the table and drink alcohol in the process of communication, we recommend surprising your friends with alcoholic jelly shots. This aperitif and dessert will not leave anyone indifferent at the same time, because the light jelly texture looks very tempting at any holiday. And if you announce that the dish contains a share of alcohol, it will sell with a bang, do not hesitate.

One of the most creative ways to serve alcohol at a party is to mix it with gelatin and serve the jelly in small plastic cups, creating what many will recognize as "Alcohol Jelly Stacks". The process is basically the same as making regular jelly, except you'll be adding alcohol along with the cold water. See the end of the article for various options for alcoholic jelly mixtures.

Classic alcohol jelly shots

Gather the ingredients. To make 32 stacks of approximately 30 grams, you will need:
- 17 g of a mixture for making jelly;
- approximately 3 cups of water (about 720 ml);
- approximately 1 glass of chilled alcohol (about 240-300 ml).

1. Mix water and alcohol to make 2 cups of final liquid. The proportions depend on the age of the guests, on the strength of the alcohol you use and on the desired final strength of the jellies. The following optimal examples can be used for calculation:
- 390 ml of 20% alcohol with 90 ml of water;
- 300 ml of 45% alcohol with 180 ml of water;
- 180 ml of even stronger alcohol per 300 ml of water.

2. Put the mixture in the refrigerator and wait until it has completely cooled. This is very important, because the temperature at which alcohol evaporates (boiling point) is 78.6 degrees. Later, you will need to mix alcohol with freshly boiled water (100 degrees). If the alcohol is not cold enough, it may reach its boiling point during mixing and some of it will evaporate, making the shots less strong.

3. Pour more than 1 cup of water into a pot/electric kettle and bring to a boil. You will need exactly 1 glass of water, so pour a little more, because some of the water will evaporate when boiling.

4. Measure out 1 cup of hot water (it should boil) and mix it with the jelly powder mixture. Sprinkle little by little, stirring constantly and often, until the powder is completely dissolved.

6. Spray the inside of the plastic cups with cooking spray (optional) to make the jelly slide out more easily later. Put small plastic spoons or flat wooden sticks (like those used for ice cream) into the cups. All this can be done in advance so that the mixture does not harden while you prepare the container.

7. Using a ladle, pour the mixture into cups. Let it cool down at room temperature.

8. Place the stacks on the shelves in the refrigerator (not the freezer!). Refrigerate until the jelly is firm (approximately 2-4 hours). Store in the refrigerator until serving to guests.

Orange slices with alcoholic jelly

2. Using a spoon, scrape out all the pulp, leaving only the peel. Be careful not to damage it.

4. Leave in the refrigerator overnight. Even though the jelly will harden after a few hours, the extra chilling time will help it get a firmer shape so that the jelly doesn't fall apart when you cut the halves into wedges.

Rainbow in a glass

1. Prepare 8 g of jelly powder mixture of several colors.
2. After adjusting the above recipe for new portions of powder, prepare several mixtures of jelly with alcohol of different colors. For now, use 1/3 of your chosen powder colors.
3. Fill all cups 1/3 full with the first batch of jelly.
4. Let the jelly harden completely in the refrigerator.
5. Mix jellies of other colors with alcohol from 1/3 of the remaining powder - for the middle layers. Fill the cups with fresh jelly up to 2/3 of the way.

6. Refrigerate and allow the top layer to harden.

If you can choose the right flavors, you can even use different alcohol for each layer.

AlcoStacks with green jelly

1. Prepare a standard mixture of alcohol and yellow gelatin jelly (jelly mixes).
2. Before pouring the finished mixture into cups, add a little green or blue food coloring to give the jelly an unusual color. A variety of colors will look especially good for the New Year.

Stronger alcohol shots

1. Start with 8 grams of jelly mix. Lemon and orange flavors work best here, as they are a classic option for vodka cocktails. The cherry flavor of the powder can give your spirits a "bouquet" that smells like cough syrup. Blueberry and grape are just as highly discouraged.

2. Mix the powder with half a cup of boiling water. Don't miss this step - the water must really boil in order to properly dissolve the powder; plus, if you add less than half a glass of water, the jelly won't harden.

3. Mix the powder in the same way until completely dissolved.

4. Add about 400 g of 40% vodka. In fact, you can add up to 550 g of vodka of the same strength and the jelly will still be able to harden, but a volume of more than 400 ml will make the jelly soft and viscous, not to mention that the alcohol flavor will overpower all other notes.

5. Pour into cups. If you used 400g of vodka, you'll end up with 18 shots of about 30g, or 9 of 60. This is a very strong alcoholic jelly, give it to your guests responsibly.

Add-ons:

Jelly stains are very difficult to clean off. Promptly applied club soda and ice water will help get rid of them;
- Careful, do not pour the hot mixture into plastic glasses - let it cool a little. If you don’t mind, you can always use real glass stacks instead of plastic ones;
- In order for guests to appreciate the bright color of jelly, and, moreover, the “rainbow”, use colorless transparent stacks;
- If you use plastic cups with lids, you can hold the glasses with jelly under warm water for a couple of minutes before serving to guests so that it lags behind the walls;
- To be completely sure that the stacks will harden, add a sachet of Knox gelatin to the mixture before boiling water. It is odorless and helps the jelly form;
- To make bubbly jelly, add club soda to the mixture, replacing a small amount of cold water with it;
- The color of jelly shots with strong vodka will not be as bright and pure as in the classic version;
- Make sure the kids don't confuse your drinkers with their jelly;
- The jelly may fall off if left in the sun for a long time. To maintain optimal color and consistency, stacks should be stored in a dark place until served to guests.
