Aronia liqueur and 100 leaves

For cooking you will need:

  • Cherry - 33 sheets;
  • Blackcurrant - 33 leaves;
  • Raspberry - 33 sheets;
  • Chokeberry - 250 g;
  • Sugar - 200 g;
  • Vodka - 0.5 l;
  • Water - 0.8 l;
  • Citric acid -2 tsp.

Cooking:

Sort the berries and leaves, rinse them under running water. Transfer them to an enamel container, add 800 ml of water. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer over low heat for half an hour. After that, remove the fruits and leaves with a colander and discard, they will no longer be useful to us. Add citric acid and sugar, put our broth on low heat, do not forget to stir to dissolve the sugar. After the syrup cools down a bit, add ½ liter of vodka to it. Pour the resulting drink into a 2-liter jar and let it brew in a cool place for two weeks. That's all, it remains to filter the drink through a cotton filter and bottle it. As you may have noticed, only 99 leaves are used in this recipe, but this number has been rounded up to 100.
