Strudli meat roses. All the secrets of making lazy rose dumplings Dough roses with meat in broth

What kind of culinary masterpieces are not born in the hands of a true lover of original dishes. A true food holiday can be held not only on special days. Even a not very experienced housewife can prepare a simple dish, decorated in a very unexpected and original way. If there is a desire, pink “buds” made from dough with meat filling may appear on the table in a short time.

Ingredients for “Dough rose with meat filling”:

For the test:

  • filtered water - 3/4 cup
  • a raw egg
  • sifted flour - up to 1/2 kg
  • spoon of mayonnaise
  • salt - 1/2 small spoon

For filling:

  • 300 grams of not very fatty beef
  • a couple of small onions
  • two large spoons of fat
  • spoon of flour
  • laurel leaf
  • herbs and salt to taste
  • and about five peppercorns

Preparation of “Rose from dough with meat filling”:

Dough:

Preparing the dough is not difficult. Pour the prepared flour, but not all of it, into a cup (along with salt), forming a small depression in the center. A product such as flour has excellent properties. It can absorb water in larger or smaller quantities, so it should be added gradually to achieve the desired dough quality. Place the egg, water and mayonnaise in the flour, mix everything, knead the dough into a not very stiff, but elastic structure. Cover the ball with film and leave to rest for an hour. In the meantime, you can prepare the filling.

Meat filling:

  • raw meat must be cleaned, washed, cut into small pieces (up to 40 g);
  • Place pieces of meat in a frying pan with fat, quickly fry and place in a pan. Add filtered water to cover the meat product, add bay leaves, herbs and peppercorns, not forgetting the salt;
  • Having closed the container, simmer for an hour and a half on the lowest heat, after which grind the meat with a meat grinder;
  • In the frying pan where the meat was fried, place finely chopped onion and fry it until pink. Add flour to the onion and continue frying until the onion turns brown. Dilute the sauté with broth (be sure to strain) obtained from the stewed meat;
  • Combine the chopped meat with onions, adding herbs and salt.

The process of forming delicious roses:

Roll out the dough thinly into a rectangular shape. Spread the prepared filling in a small layer so that the edges of the dough remain free. Moisten the entire perimeter with water and fold the layer along the entire length once, tightly connecting the edges, but not covering the corners along the entire length. When folding a layer of dough, you need to get rid of as much air as possible: gently press the surface of the dough with your hands.

Next, the workpiece needs to be rolled in the shape of a tape measure so that the connected edges are at the top. This will create a product in the shape of a rose. All that remains is to “unfold”, slightly separate the edges of the dough, which were deliberately left unsealed, from each other, forming rose petals from them. After greasing the rosette with cow butter, place it in a pressure cooker (on a wire rack or steamer) for an hour and steam it. Place the prepared hot product briefly in a pan with tomato paste until it acquires a delicate pink color.

In this simple way you can stick a whole bouquet of surprisingly tasty and unusually original roses. Isn’t this a fairy tale, composed, that is, prepared with your own talented hands?

What you will need for the meat filling:

600 g minced meat
300 g onion
Salt, ground black pepper to taste

For the test:

450 g flour
0.5 tsp. salt
240 ml water

For the vegetable sauce:

250 g onion
240 g bell pepper
130 g carrots
350 g tomatoes
300 ml water
Salt to taste

Preparation:

Let's prepare the meat filling. Cut the peeled onion into small cubes.

Add to minced meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

Let's do the test. Mix flour, salt and water together and knead into a soft, elastic dough. Cover with film and let it rest on the table. If you knead the dough in a bread machine, you can work with it right away.

Roll out the dough into a thin layer, like dumplings. Do not roll out the dough all at once, but divide it into parts. Cut the rolled out layer of dough into ribbons 6-7 cm wide and 20 cm long. On each ribbon, not reaching the edges on all sides by 1 cm, place a thin layer of meat filling.

Fold the ribbon of meat in half lengthwise and press lightly with your hands so that it flattens in the place where the minced meat is located. But do not glue in the place where we did not put the filling. Roll the meat strip into a log shape. Pinch the edge and pin the corners to the curl so that it does not unwind. Do the same with the remaining strips of dough.

Let's prepare the vegetable sauce. Peel and wash the vegetables. Grind in a meat grinder.

Place the chopped vegetables in a frying pan and simmer for 10 minutes. I simmered without oil in a non-stick frying pan.

Place the vegetable sauce in an ovenproof dish. Add water and salt to taste.

Place the prepared meat rosettes into the sauce. Leave some distance between them. The sauce should reach almost to the very top of the meat curls. If there is not enough sauce, add more water.

Place the form with the strudles in the oven and cook at 190* for 30-40 minutes. The oven should be preheated and place the pan on a baking sheet. What if it starts to spill out?)))

Bon appetit!

My family really loves dumplings, but sometimes you get so tired of making them that you don’t even want to make them. A neighbor at the dacha said that in order to get rid of monotonous modeling, she figured out how to make “lazy dumplings.” As it turned out, everything ingenious is simple, she doesn’t make a lot of dumplings, but makes a few, but what kind ones. To be honest, the first time, it was even a pity to eat such beauty, but now I make them almost constantly. Try it and I hope you like it.

  • Minced meat – 300 gr.,
  • Egg – 2 pcs.,
  • Spices to taste
  • Ketchup – 2 tbsp.,
  • Flour – 150-200 gr.,
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.

Cooking method.

First we will prepare the dough for our dumplings. To do this, beat 2 eggs into a deep bowl and add 1 glass of water, mix everything well.

Now add sunflower oil, salt and sifted flour.

Oil will give the dough greater elasticity and elasticity. Mix all our ingredients and form the dough. We should get an elastic dough that should not stick to our hands.

Sprinkle the surface of the table with flour and roll out our dough thinly. Then cut out circles using a glass or mold. Advice: make a lot of circles at once, this will save time.

Now put 4 or 5 circles on top of each other and spread the minced meat on top. I will say that I immediately had ready-made and fully seasoned minced meat, if you don’t have it, then cook it yourself. Your minced meat should consist of meat, onions, carrots and garlic.

Now we attach our filling. Do not add a large amount of minced meat, otherwise you will not get a rose.

We twist the dough with minced meat and form a bud.

We put our flowers in a deep and heat-resistant bowl.

Pour water into a deep plate and add ketchup and spices and mix well. Ketchup can be replaced with tomato paste.

Pour the sauce over our roses and put them in the oven. Oven temperature 180 degrees. Bake our dumplings for 40 minutes. Advice: Watch carefully so that all the sauce does not evaporate, otherwise the dish will turn out a little dry.

Serve the finished dumplings along with sour cream.

Bon appetit!

Today, according to the plan, we are preparing not just baking, but creating a bouquet of beautiful roses for the whole family. It sounds very interesting and tempting, although it is actually very simple and quite quick to prepare. I’m sharing a wonderful recipe with step-by-step photos - how to make rosettes from puff pastry with minced meat in the oven.

So, we need:

- puff pastry (ready) - 400 grams;
- minced meat (meat) - 200 grams;
- salt - 0.5-1 teaspoon;
- onion - 0.5 pieces;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- water (boiled) - 1 teaspoon;
- spices (coriander, pepper) - to taste;
- vegetable oil - for greasing the mold.

How to cook puff pastry with minced meat in the oven in the form of roses

Ready-made puff pastry is only sold frozen, so it needs to be thawed. To do this, just remove the packaging and leave the layers of frozen dough at room temperature for 40-50 minutes. I have a 400 gram package of dough, which contains 4 rectangles of puff pastry.

While the dough was defrosting, I managed to prepare. Mix minced meat, chopped onion and garlic, spices and salt. I use minced chicken, it is more tender and has less calories. Add one teaspoon of warm boiled water to the minced meat. This is enough for the minced meat to be juicy, but not leak out when forming puff pastry rosettes. This is how I got the minced meat in the photo.

Roll out the soft and elastic dough into a thin layer, square shape. Cut it into strips 1.5-2 centimeters wide. I cut with a curly knife so that the edges of the rose are beautifully shaped.

Place the meat filling on each strip of dough, in a thin strip, as shown in the photo.

Roll the dough with the filling into a roll to make roses, as shown in the photo.

Thus, form all the roses.

Line a baking sheet with parchment. I ran out of parchment, so I lined it with foil and greased it with vegetable oil. Place the roses on a baking sheet. I sprinkle some ground black pepper on top for flavor. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake at 175 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The time depends on the size of the roses and the characteristics of the oven.

The finished puff pastry rosettes with minced meat will acquire a light golden color.

You need to remove delicious and beautiful baked goods from the baking sheet after cooling, so as not to deform them. Place the roses on a plate and serve.

Beautiful, tasty and fragrant rosettes made from ready-made puff pastry with meat filling will captivate you with their taste and appearance. The filling turns out very juicy and tender, and the dough is airy and very tasty. Cook with love for your family and delicious and beautiful baked goods for you!
