Today I will use melted chocolate in the recipe. Here I used milk chocolate, so it did not give such a bright and rich chocolate color. For this, it is better to use dark bitter chocolate. But the cupcakes are still delicious.

Ingredients

for 12 pieces

For cupcakes:

  • 100 gr sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or sugar)
  • 100 gr sifted flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g melted and cooled chocolate

For cream:

  • 100 g butter at room temperature
  • 120 gr sifted powdered sugar
  • 80 g of melted and slightly cooled chocolate.

Recipe

Before I cook, I will write again. The chocolate must be melted some time before the preparation of the dough. And let it cool down a little so that the butter in the dough does not start to melt from the hot chocolate. Eggs and butter must be removed at the same time so that they are at the same temperature.

  1. We heat the oven to 180C.
  2. Beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy for a few minutes.
  3. Add two eggs one at a time. Whisk thoroughly after each. With the last egg, add the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder and add to the dough, mix.
  5. Add chocolate last, mix the dough again and put it in a muffin mold with paper molds.
  6. We bake cupcakes in an oven preheated to 180C for 23-25 ​​minutes until cooked. Then let them cool completely and you can decorate with cream.

Cream:

When preparing the cream, chocolate also needs to be melted a little in advance. All for the same reasons - so that the butter in the cream does not begin to melt. The most important thing in the preparation of buttercream is not to be lazy and whip for a sufficient amount of time. It takes me at least 5 minutes.

  1. Beat room temperature butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Sift the icing sugar and immediately add it to the butter. Mix at low speed, and then increase it and beat for the next 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add melted chocolate, beat a little more. After that, the cream can be transferred to a pastry bag with a nozzle and decorate our cupcakes.
