  • 0.5 kg of potatoes;
  • 400 grams of beets;
  • 100 ml of mayonnaise;
  • 1 medium onion;
  • ½ teaspoon salt.

  1. Wash and boil all root vegetables (potatoes and beets).
  2. Peel the onion, chop and marinate (pour boiling water for a minute, then add 2 teaspoons of vinegar, a pinch of salt and sugar. Leave for 15 minutes. Onion is ready).
  3. Peel and grate potatoes and beets on a coarse grater.
  4. Put the potatoes in the first layer and add a pinch of salt.

Tip: Before laying out the beets, do not forget to squeeze out the excess juice with your hands. Onions in a salad will be sweeter if pickled (as in a salad without carrots).

  2. Grate cucumbers and cheese on a fine grater.
  3. Roast the sesame.
  4. Mix the ingredients for the sauce.
  5. Tear nori leaves into small pieces.
  6. Put the grated potatoes in a salad dish and grease it with the sauce.
  7. Put nori leaves on top and brush over, sparing no sauce. Nori needs to be well soaked.
  8. Spread the cucumbers in the next layer, which are also moistened with dressing.
  9. Continue to assemble the salad, alternating the sauce with other products. Next lay out the carrots, and after it - the cheese.
  10. Finish the design of the herring under a fur coat with grated beets. Generously grease the layer with sauce and sprinkle the fur coat with fried sesame seeds on top.

We will need:

  • 2 carrots;
  • 2 beets;
  • 2 potatoes;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1 herring fillet;
  • ½ onion;
  • 200 ml mayonnaise.
