I just want to say that meat and sauce are the most important in this salad - they give a unique combination of taste, and if you don’t find something from salad varieties, don’t be upset, replace it with something -something similar.

But about Worcestershire sauce I can’t say this - he, apparently, plays an important role in this salad! Therefore, try to still buy it, in the same large supermarkets it is usually sold. I wanted to somehow make it myself and looked at the composition .. hmmm ... It's easier to buy, I'll tell you!

1 So, mix olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard in one bowl. We mix everything, salt, pepper. This combination is perfect for crispy Iceberg and fragrant meat. This sauce is perfect for many other dishes, especially meat. 2 Cut lettuce Iceberg and Lollo Rossa (curly leaf with reddish edges). Pour the prepared sauce over this cut and mix. 3 Finally, we take the most important "male" ingredient of our salad - beef tenderloin. Cut it into small slices. Yes, yes, I know what you will tell me! Indeed, there is no meat in this salad ... But it looks very beautiful, besides, it can suit those men who do not eat meat at all, let's call it vegetarian.

The patriotism of the salad is expressed not only by a bright carrot star that adorns a portion of the salad, but also by such an original Russian component as black radish - very specific in smell, but very juicy and refreshing in taste. In this composition of the salad, the taste of sweet and sour apple, spicy radish, sweetish carrot and the mild taste of potatoes are very successfully combined. You can decorate the salad both in portions and on a common dish - in layers.

Compound:

  • 3 pcs. potatoes
  • 1 PC. - apple
  • 1 PC. - small black radish
  • 1 PC. - carrots (plus 1 boiled carrot to decorate the salad)

Well, let's start cooking, shall we? Go!

1 Wash and peel the black radish. Grate on a fine grater. Mix it with coarse salt (approximately not a full teaspoon) and put it in a colander for 15 minutes. The radish will release juice, which we then squeeze out, remove excess moisture.

If you cannot stand the bitter and harsh taste and smell of radish, there is a great replacement option - Japanese Daikon radish. It is very delicate, reminiscent of our radish, but with a white thin skin. The smell is also there, but not so sharp, and the taste is very moderate, but retaining, nevertheless, the freshness and aroma of an ordinary radish. I would call daikon a "light version" of the regular black radish.

2 Cut the onion into small cubes. Add a little salt, sugar, a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and pour boiling water - marinate our onion, traditionally, for 10 minutes. 4 Grate the peeled and seeded apple on a coarse grater - it is better if it tastes sweet and sour. We also rub on a coarse grater and boiled potatoes. 5 We begin to collect our salad. The most spectacular serving is in portions, each on a separate plate. Of course, you will have to tinker, but it will look very elegant and festive on our table! If you don’t have special molds for this size, take ordinary disposable glasses, cut off the narrow part with the bottom, tip it onto a clean plate and put a portion of salad into this “pyramid” - very simple and easy.

NOTE

If 20 minutes have passed since the start of cooking, then the bitterness from our radish has already gone - you can start collecting the salad.

6 Lay and tamp the potatoes in the first layer. Top with a spoonful of mayonnaise. Then - onion squeezed from the marinade + a little mayonnaise.   • Olive oil _ 6-7 tbsp.
  • Wine vinegar _ 3-4 tbsp.
  • Cilantro (bunch), Khmeli-Suneli, Black Pepper, Red Chili Pepper - to taste
1 Boil beef first and cool. You can take any other meat, to your taste - pork, tongue, chicken, turkey. Also boil red beans. If this is a long time for you and you need to prepare the salad as quickly as possible, you can also take ready-made canned beans from a can. 2 Let's start with the onion - pickle it, as we usually do for salads. Red onion is the best choice for a delicious men's salad. Cut it into half rings, pour vinegar and mix. We send prepared meat and 300 gr. beans in a salad bowl. 4 Cut the red bell pepper into strips, after clearing the seeds. We will immediately deal with chili peppers - finely chop the amount we need. Here you also focus on your taste and the taste of your beloved man, for whom, in fact, you are preparing this salad - does he like spicy dishes? For my taste - a small pod is enough, and be sure to remove the seeds - they are very bitter. We send both peppers to a common bowl. 5 Finely chop a bunch of cilantro (who does not like cilantro - replace any greens that suit your taste).
