    This is actually my dad's favorite salad. It turns out something a la vinaigrette, only without cabbage, potatoes and beans.     The essence of this salad is that we do not add any ingredients to the beets. Beets need to be baked or boiled. Grate for Korean carrots and season with dressing.

    For dressing, mix oil, honey, lemon juice, combine with grated beets, salt and pepper the salad to your liking. Lemon juice can be replaced with apple cider vinegar.

    There are dishes that absolutely do not bother. They are not dominated by fashion, modern trends in the field of proper nutrition and the recommendations of Hollywood stars. Whatever happens in our changing world, beetroot salad with garlic will certainly take its rightful place on my New Year's table!

    My remarks

    • For cooking, it is best to take a juicy, bright burgundy salad, up to ten centimeters in diameter.
    • I prefer using roasted vegetables. They have a more expressive, some kind of slightly caramel taste, a pleasant texture, a certain “glossy” surface.
    • A similar salad is prepared with garlic and sour cream or yogurt. It has a slightly different taste. To combine all the ingredients together, I advise you to add a little lemon juice and Bavarian mustard to sour cream or yogurt.

    Ingredients

    • Two - three medium root crops of maroon color;
    • 120 g soft fatty goat cheese (good cheese, feta, urda);
    • two cloves of garlic;
    • 15 basil leaves;
    • olive oil;
    • grape vinegar (5 - 6%);
    • salt;
    • sugar.

    How to cook

    1. Wash the beets thoroughly in warm running water using a brush. Scald with boiling water, put in cold water, clean.
    2. Grate with a large or medium grater. I prefer. Pour dressing over.
    3. Make dressing: mix mustard, olive oil, vinegar, salt, finely chopped garlic and grated ginger root (peel must be removed with a knife).
    4. Add thin strips of dried red pepper (if desired), stir.
    5. For a more expressive taste, the salad should stand for several hours.
    6. Serve salad in a beautiful glass, crystal or porcelain salad bowl.

    Salad of carrots and beets with garlic, raisins and nuts

    Boiled beets and raw carrots are a wonderful combination. Raisins are very appropriate here. And the contrast and expressiveness of this whole sweet company is given by spicy hard cheese, walnuts and garlic.

    Delicious salad. If you cook it without mayonnaise, then it will meet all the canons of proper nutrition. A small amount of quality vegetable oil or yoghurt with lemon and mustard is the best alternative to mayonnaise.

    Ingredients

    • A couple of medium maroon root crops (Bordeaux, Cylinder varieties);
    • bright orange carrot of medium size;
    • 60 - 70 g of good raisins of any color;
    • 2 - 3 garlic cloves;
    • 120 g hard cheese;
    • 60 - 70 g of walnuts;

    How to cook

    • Instead of mayonnaise, thick good sour cream is quite suitable for this salad.

    3. Beets and carrots are washed with a brush and boiled in separate saucepans, cooled and peeled off, root crops are cut with a knife into small cubes.
    4. Pour all the products prepared for this moment into a salad bowl.
    5. The garlic is freed from the husk, crushed on the garlic maker and poured into a salad bowl.
    6. Pour over all products with mayonnaise and mix with a spoon.

    Tip: beets acquire an unusual taste and aroma if they are not just boiled, but baked in the oven. To do this, you just need to rinse it and wrap it in foil. Thus, the root crop remains juicy, and, accordingly, beet salad, cheese, garlic, mayonnaise with it turns out to be more saturated.

    It is surprising that to this day it is believed that only banal can be prepared from herring and beets. In fact, more than one dish can be created from these two components.     Required components:

    • 200 gr. beets;
    • 250 gr. potatoes;
    • 1 beam head;
    • 300 gr. herrings;
    • 100 gr. carrots;
    • 200 gr. cheese;

    • 2 garlic cloves;
    • 30 gr. parsley.

    Beet salad with garlic and mayonnaise recipe:

    1. First of all, potatoes, carrots and beets are washed with a brush and then boiled in separate saucepans, cooled and rubbed on a medium-sized grater.
    2. Put the potatoes in a bowl and pour mayonnaise, mix.
    3. The beets are placed in another bowl.
    4. Garlic cloves are peeled, crushed with garlic and poured into a bowl with beets. Mayonnaise is poured there and salt is added, mixed with a spoon.
    5. The herring is washed and cut, all the bones are removed and the skin is removed. The already obtained fillet is then cut finely with a knife.
    6. To grind cheese, take a large grater and simply rub it on it.
    7. The salad is laid out in layers, spreading each with mayonnaise and adding a little salt.
    8. Potatoes are laid out at the bottom, and beets are already on it.
    9. Next place the herring.
    10. The onion is freed from the husk and chopped with a knife into thin halves of the rings, spread on the herring.

    1. The beets are washed with a regular brush and put in a saucepan, then they are boiled and cooled, peeled and chopped with a grater.
    2. The next step is to grate the cheese.
    3. First of all, the raisins are washed and then poured into a bowl, poured with boiling water and infused for about ten minutes, decant all the water and dry on a napkin.
