By sea cocktail we mean mixture of mussels, shrimps, octopuses, squids. Often I add more caviar or a variety of seaweed. Each ingredient brings its own flavor notes and enriches the sensations. You can buy a sea cocktail in the store ready-made or cook it yourself. It is usually sold frozen, which is for the best, given the delicate nature of the products.

200 g lettuce
300 g seafood cocktail in oil
300 g cherry tomatoes
200 g feta cheese

1 tsp mustard
juice of 1/2 lime or lemon
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp Sahara
1 tsp dry oregano

Step by step cooking recipe:

Let's start with the sauce. Pour 3 tablespoons of oil into a bowl, squeeze it out and add the juice of half a lime, finely grated garlic, salt, sugar, pepper, oregano and mustard.

Mix well and set aside for now.

Let's start assembling the salad itself. Festive seafood salad with crab sticks "Neptune"

Here we used a sea cocktail and prawns in brine - they are also very suitable for our series of salads for the festive table.


We have to:

250 g shrimp in brine
200 g sea cocktail in filling
220 g squid (1 piece)
5 boiled eggs
240 g crab sticks
50 g red caviar (half a jar)
Homemade mayonnaise for dressing

Let's start cooking:

We throw a pinch of salt into boiling water and lower the squid (I have previously defrosted). Cook for one and a half minutes - no more! Otherwise it will become tough. And 2-3 times turn over in water.

Cut the crab sticks into medium cubes.

First, cut the squid lengthwise, remove the film and then across, into small plates.

Eggs: cut the whites into thin strips. The yolks do not go into this salad, so use them somewhere else.

Drain excess liquid from the sea cocktail and brine from the shrimp. Set aside half of the last for decoration.

We collect all the prepared ingredients in a container, add mayonnaise - homemade is better - and mix well. Salt is not needed. Can be slightly peppered.

This is a versatile seafood salad recipe because any green salad will work.

It can be iceberg and arugula, or a mixture of salads, or any salad at your discretion. Seafood too. We can use squid, shrimp, octopus, or any combination of them. We will take a ready-made frozen sea cocktail.

We also need cherry tomatoes and sweet bell peppers for this salad. Size, color or shape does not matter, the main thing is that the pepper is sweet and thick-walled.

Composition of products:

Seafood cocktail - 300 gr.
green beans - 1 pack
broccoli - 1 pack
red onion - 1 pc.
Dijon mustard - 2 tsp
vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
germinated radish or onion seeds - 1 pack
bay leaf - 2 pcs.
vegetable salt - 1 tsp
honey - 2 tsp

Cooking:

Boil green beans for 3 minutes in a couple or in salted water.
