Ingredients:

  • Red cabbage - about 1.5 kg.
  • Carrot - 1 pc. (large)
  • Onion (white or red) - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 1 large clove
  • Vegetable or olive oil - 100 gr.
  • Vinegar 9% table or apple - 5 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 tablespoon without a slide
  • Granulated sugar - 1 tablespoon with a slide
  • Ground coriander - 1 tablespoon (with or without a slide - you decide!).

Cooking:

Step number 1. Cut the cabbage.

Wash the red cabbage and remove wilted leaves. Finely chop the leaves and grate the head of cabbage on a medium grater - all the cabbage goes into action! Grind chopped cabbage with salt - so it will become softer and let the juice go. Place cabbage in a large bowl or saucepan and drizzle with oil.

Step number 2. Three carrots.

For the beauty and uniform structure of the salad, I grated the carrots on a special grater. How to cook carrots in Korean. Wash, peel and dry large carrots and grate them into long strips. Add carrots to cabbage and stir.

Step number 3. Cut the onion.

Choose a juicy onion - I took a medium size, but if everyone in your family loves onions, you can use a larger one. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings as thin as possible. To make the red cabbage salad delicious, add sugar, coriander and vinegar (regular table or apple) to it. To add piquancy to three on a grater or squeeze one clove of garlic. Mix everything well with a spoon, cover with a lid and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Taste the salad - you might want to add more salt or enhance the garlic flavor. A wonderful vitamin salad of red cabbage, carrots and onions is ready! Store it in the refrigerator - it tastes even better when it steeps.   • salt, vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar (preferably apple) to taste.

We chop the cabbage very finely, it is better to use a special shredder so that the strips are thin and the same. Put the cabbage in a bowl, add a little salt and grind with salt.

Advice! So that your hands do not stain with cabbage juice when preparing a salad, it is better to work with this vegetable with gloves.

If the cucumbers have a tough skin, peel them and cut into thin sticks. You should not grate cucumbers, otherwise the vegetables will release a lot of juice. Finely chop the greens.

We mix greens, cabbage and cucumbers, add peas without liquid to vegetables. Dress the salad with vinegar, sugar and vegetable oil to taste.

Cabbage salad with egg and mayonnaise

A very simple salad is prepared with a boiled egg, we will prepare a dressing for it with mayonnaise, which we mix with sour cream.

  • 2 boiled eggs;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream;
  • herbs, salt to taste.
  • 500 gr. red cabbage;
  • 2 medium sized carrots;
  • 4 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar;
  • 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid honey;
  • 1 tablespoon prepared Dijon mustard
  • salt to taste.

Shred the cabbage very thinly, add a little salt and rub with your hands until the juice appears. Peel the carrots and grate them into long strips.

We're getting ready to ship. To do this, mix honey with mustard with a vein, pour in vinegar and oil.

Advice! If honey is only candied, then it must first be melted. Then it will be easier to mix with other components.

We mix cabbage and carrots, pour over the prepared dressing and serve the salad to the table. If desired, this salad can be seasoned with finely chopped garlic (1-2 cloves).

Salad with beetroot

We offer a recipe for a simple but delicious salad made from red cabbage and.

  • 300 gr. cabbage;
  • 1 large beet;
  • 100 gr. feta cheese;
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice;
  • 0.5 teaspoon of granulated sugar;
  • salt, pepper, fresh herbs to taste;
  • walnuts - optional for decoration.

We chop the cabbage. It is important to chop as thinly as possible, as the heads of cabbage are dense and the cabbage will be tough if cut coarsely. Add the cabbage and rub with your hands to make it softer.

We clean the raw beets and rub them with long thin strips. It is best to use a grater for preparing Korean salads. Mix cabbage and beets. Cut the feta into small cubes. We peel the walnuts from the shell, trying to keep the halves whole. Lightly toast the nuts in a dry frying pan.

We chop the cabbage very finely, add salt to it and rub it lightly so that the strips become softer. We peel the apple and rub it or cut it with a knife into narrow long sticks.

Prepare the vinaigrette sauce. To do this, pour vinegar into the dishes, dissolve sugar and a pinch of salt in it, pour in vegetable oil. Shake well. It is convenient to prepare such a sauce in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. After closing the lid, you need to shake the jar several times, mixing the ingredients.

Pour the cabbage and apple salad with the sauce, mix. You can serve immediately, or you can let the salad brew for several hours, it will be even tastier.

Cabbage salad with tomatoes

A salad made from red cabbage with tomato is very tasty.

  • 300 gr. cabbage;
  • 2 medium tomatoes, preferably pink with dense, sweetish pulp;
  • 1 red lettuce;
  • 4 sprigs of dill and parsley;
  • sugar, salt, lemon juice to taste;
  • mayonnaise for salad dressing.

First you need to prepare the bow. To do this, we clean the red onion, cut it in half and chop the halves of the rings as thin as possible. We put the onion in a bowl, sprinkle with a pinch of salt, add a little sugar and pour in the lemon juice, mix and let stand for 20 minutes so that the onion has time to marinate.

Advice! Instead of mayonnaise, you can use sour cream or a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise to dress this salad.

Shred red cabbage into thin strips. Lightly add and knead with your hands, achieving softness. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and cut into thin slices. Mix with cabbage. Add the previously pickled onion, after squeezing it from the marinade. Dress the salad with mayonnaise and mix. Put in a salad bowl and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and dill.

Red cabbage salad with sausage

A more satisfying version of cabbage salad is prepared with sausage. This recipe uses boiled Doktorskaya type sausage, but you can also use boiled smoked sausage.

  • 400 gr. red cabbage;
  • 200 gr. sausages;
  • 200 gr. green peas;
  • 1 small onion (preferably red, lettuce);
  • 1.5 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • several sprigs of parsley;
  • salt, black pepper to taste.

Cut the boiled sausage into small cubes. We put a frying pan with oil on the fire, fry the sausage so that the pieces are well browned. Cool down.

Advice! When using boiled-smoked sausage, it is not necessary to fry. The product is recommended to be cut into thin strips and mixed with the rest of the ingredients.

Shred the cabbage as thinly as possible. Salt with three hands to make it softer. Peel the red onion and chop finely. If we use an ordinary onion, then it must first be scalded with boiling water and cooled.

Put sausage, cabbage, onion and green peas in a bowl. Mix all the ingredients and season with mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper if necessary.
