Today I will show you how to cook a delicious salad recipe with squid, crab sticks and red caviar.
This is a very festive salad and it is the best suited for any family celebration.
The products that make up this salad are ideally combined and complement each other.
To prepare a salad with squid, crab sticks and red caviar, we need the following ingredients:

500 gr. boiled squid
400 gr. crab sticks or crab meat
250 gr. cheese
Proteins from 6 boiled eggs
150 gr. mayonnaise
140 gr. red caviar
1 bulb
1 tsp Sahara
3 tbsp vinegar 9%

Salad with squid, crab sticks and red caviar - step by step recipe:

To prepare a salad, we need to cut all the products into strips. We start with onions. Cut the onion into very thin strips and pickle it. To do this, add sugar to a bowl with onions, add a little salt, pour in about 3 tablespoons of 9% vinegar, add water so that the onion is completely covered and knead it well with your hand. While the onion is marinating, prepare the rest of the products.
Cut the squid into strips. Squids are boiled in advance and chilled.

To get 500 gr. boiled squid, you will need 1 kg of raw.
In this salad, all products are cut into strips. For the convenience of mixing the salad, I recommend using a large bowl and then spreading it into salad bowls.
Now it's the turn of the crab sticks. Crab sticks should be cut as thin as possible lengthwise and then diagonally into very thin straws.
In the same bowl, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
I boil and cool the eggs in advance, only proteins go to the salad, you can use the yolks for another recipe. We rub the whites on a large grater.
The onion is marinated, drain the liquid from it, squeeze it slightly and transfer it to the salad.
We add half of the total amount of red caviar to the salad, the second half will be used to decorate the salad.
The convenience of this salad is that it can be prepared the day before, it does not turn sour, does not let juice in, and you can season the salad with mayonnaise immediately before serving.
Add a little allspice, salt to taste and mix everything well.

How to cook Tsarsky salad with red caviar and squid?

  1. First of all, boil the eggs, squids and potatoes in salted water. Eggs should be boiled in boiling water for at least 5 minutes. Boil potatoes until tender. Squid should simply be thrown for 1-2 minutes in boiling water. In no case should they be digested, otherwise they will turn out tough and the salad will be spoiled.

  1. Grate the eggs on a coarse grater and place in a lightly oiled mold in the first layer. Lubricate it thoroughly with mayonnaise.

  1. Cut olives into strips or cubes. Put them in the next layer on the eggs with mayonnaise.

  1. Finely chop the calamari too. Try to spread them out as evenly as possible. Spread the squid layer with mayonnaise. Salt the calamari if necessary.

  1. Now it's the turn of the red caviar. It must be laid out directly on the mayonnaise. It is not necessary to smear a layer of red caviar with sauce, it is already very juicy.

  1. Boiled potatoes should be grated. If you boiled it in salted water, then do not add additional salt after rubbing. Put the potatoes on the red caviar, and then spread with a thin layer of mayonnaise.

  3. Rinse the squid fillets thoroughly under running water and separate from the film. Meanwhile, put a pot of water on the fire and bring to a boil. Dip the fillet in boiling salted water. As soon as the boil resumes (after 1-1.5 minutes) and the meat turns white, take it out and cool it. It is important not to overcook the clams in boiling water, otherwise the meat will turn out “rubber”.
  4. We take out the frozen shrimp from the package and lower them into boiling salted water. Cook until tender (3-5 minutes after boiling again). You can add spices to the water to taste (dill, peppercorns, bay leaf, cloves, part of a lemon). Cool down.
  5. The cooled potatoes are peeled and three on a coarse grater.
  6. We clean the eggs and three on a grater.
  7. Cut the squid fillet into thin strips and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  8. Peel the shrimp and sprinkle lightly with lemon.

Cooking:

  1. Peel the onion, cut into cubes and fry in vegetable oil until transparent.

  5. Set aside 2 crab sticks to decorate the dish (cut into large plates), cut the rest into small cubes.
  6. Drain the brine from the squid and cut them into small pieces.
  7. Drain the syrup from the pineapples and cut into small cubes.
  8. My dill and basil, dry with a napkin. We separate several large branches to decorate the dish. Everything else is finely crumbled.
  9. We take a deep form and begin to form the salad in layers. The first layer is mushrooms with onions. We make a mayonnaise net.
  10. The second layer is potato wedges. Season to taste and cover with mayonnaise.
  11. The third is crab sticks and grated protein. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  12. The fourth layer is squid. Cover with mayonnaise.
  13. Fifth - pineapples. Sprinkle with chopped herbs. We make a mayonnaise net.
  14. The sixth layer is grated yolks.

  3. Drain the marinade from the olives and cut them into half rings.
  4. Peel the eggs and chop finely.
  5. My tomatoes, scald with boiling water and remove the peel. With a sharp thin knife, cut them into small cubes.
  6. In a deep bowl, mix squid, salmon, olives, eggs and tomatoes. Pepper and salt to taste. Dress the salad with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly until smooth.
  7. Cool the salad in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. Then we spread the mass into tartlets.
  8. Wash the basil, pat dry with a paper towel and cut into leaves. We cover the tartlets with salad with red caviar and decorate with basil leaves.
To prepare tartlets, we need: flour (300 g), chilled butter (150 g), yolks (2 pcs.), Water (2 tablespoons), a pinch of salt, sugar (1 tablespoon), vegetable oil ( 50 ml). We rub the butter on a coarse grater, add to the sifted flour and mix thoroughly. Whisk the egg yolks, salt and sugar until foamy. Pour the mixture into the flour and mix until a homogeneous dough is formed. Cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out chilled dough thinly. Lubricate the baking molds with oil, spread the dough and bake the tartlets in the oven for about 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 180 ℃.

It turns out a very tasty salad, with an unusual aftertaste, but the appearance is quite banal. Although it all depends on your imagination, maybe you can fix this little flaw.

For the recipe you will need:

Squid - 2 pieces;
Shrimp - 150g;
Egg -1pc;
Onion - 1/4 onion;
Mayonnaise;

Meal preparation:

  7. Boil water with a little salt. When the water boils, add all the peeled (!) Shrimps and cook for no more than two minutes.
  8. Shrimp carcasses are so small that there is no need to grind them.
  9. In order not to sit for a long time with crabs, we recommend taking canned food. It is canned crab meat, not crab sticks. Drain the liquid and mash the meat with a fork.
  10. Boil the eggs until fully cooked. Cool in cold water and remove the shell. Cut into cubes.
  11. Wash the onion, chop finely.
  12. Open the can of corn, drain the liquid.
  13. Cucumbers are also cut into small cubes. If the raw skin is bitter, be sure to peel it, otherwise the bitterness will spoil the whole salad.
  14. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients: squid, crab meat, eggs, cucumbers, leeks and corn. Season with mayonnaise, salt, mix, decorate with caviar and shrimp on top and serve.

Tip: You can use crab sticks instead of meat. There is nothing wrong. But if you still want a more refined and expensive salad, use crab meat.
