Today's topic will be dedicated to lovers of fish dishes. As for me, the fish is one of the most delicious suppliers of protein and other useful substances to our body. It is simply impossible not to love her! There are a lot of fish recipes: fried, baked, salted, smoked, dried, dried - in all forms it is simply magnificent!

This time I want to offer you one of my favorite fish recipes - asp fish roll. This fish roll comes out so tender and delicious that you just lick your fingers!

Like all my homemade recipes, it is quite simple and unpretentious to prepare and can be offered not only as an everyday dish, but also as a festive fish snack. I think that your family and guests will definitely like it.

And so I will list what we need for cooking.

Ingredients

  • Asp fish fillet (you can use any other) - 400 grams
  • Fresh pork fat - 100 grams
  • Chicken egg - 1 piece
  • Onion - 2 heads (150-160 grams)
  • Sweet carrots - 80-100 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 2-3 tablespoons
  • Lemon Pepper (optional) - to taste

FISH ROLL RECIPE

I want to note right away that such a fish roll can be prepared not only from asp, but also from silver carp or other large river fish. Why from a large one - you ask? Everything is simple here - there are large bones in it and they are easier to remove.

This specimen of asp (which I purchased on the market) weighed about 4 kilograms. It also contained half a kilogram of excellent caviar, which I immediately salted. The whole process can be viewed

As usual, I decided to present you a fish roll recipe with a step-by-step photo so that everything is very clear and visual.

To begin with, we will clean the fish from the husk, gut and rinse well in cold water. Then, with a sharp knife, separate the fillet, starting from the back. We leave the rib part together with the bones (they will be removed later).

Soak the separated fillet in cold water (so that the blood comes off). And we ourselves pour water into a saucepan and put it on fire, we will need it to boil.

As soon as the water boils, dip the fillet pieces into it and let it boil for just a couple of minutes.

Then we take it out and put it on a plate to cool.

We cook our own vegetables. We clean the onions and carrots, wash them, then cut the onions finely as if they were roasting, and three carrots on a coarse grater. We put a frying pan on the fire, pour vegetable oil and send onions and carrots there.

Stir, cover the pan with a lid and leave the vegetables to sauté over low heat. They will serve as a filling for us and make the fish dish more refined.

Now we will begin to disassemble the fillet, which has already cooled down by this time, into a roll of asp fish. We carefully and easily take out the bones and very quickly cope with this process.

Yes, I almost forgot to say, pour the breadcrumbs in advance with cold water and leave until the time we prepare the minced meat.

While we were choosing the bones, the onions and carrots were already cooked.

Remove them from the pan and leave to cool. And we ourselves begin to prepare minced meat for our fish roll. To do this, we pass fish, lard, one onion through a meat grinder and get the result.

Add the soaked breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper to the minced fish. Mix well with a fork.

From above, stepping back from the edges, we lay out the passivated vegetables.

Wrap it tightly in foil in the form of a large candy. And then we send it to the oven, heated to 180 degrees.

Bake the fish roll in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. Then we get it.

We open the foil and grease our roll on top with sour cream or mayonnaise.
