1. We begin to cook minced meat casserole with vegetables step by step. Wash the eggplant and cut into rings without peeling.

2. Rub the circles well with salt, leave to soak. It is also impossible to oversalt eggplants, because they absorb everything very well. After a while, the eggplant should release juice, with which all the bitterness will come out of the vegetable.

3. In the meantime, cut the potatoes into not very thick plates so that they have time to bake and become soft.

4. We cut the onion large, in half rings.

7. In a bowl, mix minced meat, herbs, salt, pepper, garlic. We definitely take fresh herbs, it not only improves the taste of the dish, but also contributes to its rapid absorption.

8. Three cheese on a coarse grater. This is our future ruddy crust. It is better to take hard cheese, you can use the most inexpensive one, for example, "Russian".

10. Lubricate the form with vegetable oil, spread the potatoes and eggplants, if there is a place left, like mine.

11. Lubricate with sour cream or mayonnaise. If using sour cream, add a little salt. Mayonnaise contains salt.

12. Lay the eggplants on top in a dense layer.

13. Lay out the bow. It will release a lot of juice, vegetables will be stewed in it, so we do not fry them additionally and do not add water to the mold. Onion is specially used a lot so that it gives more fragrant juice. But if you do not like stewed onions, you can add water or broth.

14. Spread the minced meat and level with a spoon. It grabs in an even layer, it will be convenient to cut the dish.

15. The last layer is tomatoes (they, like onions, will also give a lot of juice).

16. We spread the cheese with lumps with a spoon, then spread it. Be sure to cover the form with foil so that it does not touch the cheese or the lid. We put the mold in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 1 hour. Everything should be well stewed. After 30-40 minutes, we slightly open the oven and look: if the vegetables let out juice that boils, everything is fine. If there is not enough juice (for example, the tomatoes were not very juicy), add a little boiling water. Readiness is determined by the softness of the potatoes (it can be pierced with a fork). Remove the foil, return the form to the oven and brown for another 10 minutes.

17. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve. This dish is "for the second", it is good in itself, as it combines both meat and a side dish.
