    I prepare the orange zest. To remove, I use a fine grater or a special knife designed for peeling vegetables. I put the zest with spices in a saucepan, add water, and put it on the fire.

    After waiting for it to boil, I cook the spices for about 15 minutes. During this time, the cinnamon sticks will fully open, which will be signaled by the excellent aroma spreading throughout the room.

    I reduce the heat, add sugar, and keep it on low heat. Stir the contents of the pan constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then I pour in port wine, wait 5 minutes, pour in red wine.

    I bring the contents to a temperature of 75 degrees, remove from the stove and leave for half an hour to brew. Before serving, I add a few spoons of natural honey.

  • Lemon – 3 slices.

  • Anise stars – 3 pcs.
  • Cardamom – 1 tsp.
  • Orange sugar.

How to cook:

  1. I pour the wine into a small container, add honey, and heat it over low heat. I stir the liquid until the honey dissolves, then add anise, cardamom, and cinnamon. I cut the ginger root into slices, remove the zest from the orange and place the ingredients along with the juice squeezed out of the orange into a container.
  2. I put lemon slices in future mulled wine. After heating, which I can judge by the appearance of small bubbles, I cover with a lid, turn off the gas, and leave for 20 minutes so that the spices release the aroma.

  • Fruit juice – 1 liter.
  • Apple – 1 pc.
  • Lemon – 3 slices.
  • Honey – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Cinnamon sticks – 2 pcs.
  • Star anise – 2 pcs.
  • Other spices - to taste.

Preparation:

  1. I cut a fresh apple with peel into large slices and lemon into thin slices. Lemon can be replaced with lime, grapefruit or orange.
  2. I put the prepared fruits in a saucepan, add honey, cinnamon, star anise, and my favorite spices - nutmeg and cloves. Then I add fruit juice. I advise you to take cherry, currant or pomegranate.
  3. I put the pan on low heat and heat the mulled wine for at least 5 minutes. Before boiling, cover with a lid, turn off the heat, and leave for 15 minutes. The aroma of spices will be fully revealed, the taste will become incomparable.
  4. I serve hot homemade non-alcoholic mulled wine in cups or glasses with the addition of apple slices, lemon and some spices.
