Recipe with photo step by step:

For cottage cheese casserole, we take the most common oatmeal, for example, Hercules. Instant porridge is not suitable - such cereals do not contain anything useful and quickly soak. Pour oatmeal with warm milk, leave to swell for 10-15 minutes. At this time, steam the raisins, prepare the curd mass and preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Dark raisins are sweeter, so if you are going to cook the casserole with no added sugar (or with a minimal amount), then choose it. If you are preparing a regular sweet casserole, then take any raisins. We wash the raisins several times under cold water, pour boiling water for 2-3 minutes or steam them in a water bath. Then dry on a towel. Soft raisins are enough to wash and dry.

We mix cottage cheese with an egg, knead with a crush into a homogeneous mass without lumps.

We shift the swollen oatmeal along with milk to the curd mass, add sugar (if you add). We mix everything. To make the casserole more fragrant, you can add a bag of vanilla sugar or a little ground cinnamon.

Add steamed and dried raisins. With a spoon, carefully mix the curd mass.

Lubricate the form with sides with a piece of butter. We shift the curd mass, level the top. We press the raisins inward so that they do not burn during baking. We put the casserole in a hot oven, bake for half an hour.

We take out the almost ready casserole, grease the top with liquid honey and return to the oven for another 5 minutes until browning. To make the honey lay down in an even thin layer, it is convenient to use a cooking brush.

The finished cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal should cool, then cut it into portions and serve with sour cream or any sauce to your liking. We also advise you to take a look at the recipe for making cottage cheese casserole, this is another of the delicious options for cottage cheese casserole.

On a note. If you have leftover egg whites from baking, instead of a whole egg, beat 1 egg white and add to the casserole. Such a replacement will not affect the taste of the finished dish in any way, and you will not only add proteins, but also reduce the calorie content of the cottage cheese casserole.

Add grated cottage cheese. Pour milk (fat content - any to taste).

After stirring again, drain the water from under the dried apricots and raisins. Chop the first one with a knife. Throw dried fruits (do not forget about candied cherries) in a mass of eggs, sugar and milk.

At the end add oatmeal. Stir so that all large ingredients are as evenly distributed among themselves as possible.

Coat the inside of the mold with butter. Transfer the dough. Turn on the oven. The temperature is 185 degrees.

Leave the cottage cheese and oatmeal casserole inside for 30-35 minutes. After checking the readiness (for this it is enough to pierce the cake with a skewer), turn off the fire.

Since you can buy an incredibly many different types of dried fruits in the markets today from oriental traders, try different options. The main thing is not to overdo it with the quantity and combination, so as not to spoil the taste nuances of the dessert.

Option 10: Cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal and nuts

In addition to fresh or dried berries, a variety of nuts can be added to the recipe for cottage cheese casserole, which will need to be chopped. To do this, use a blender, meat grinder or mortar, as our grandmothers did.

Ingredients:

  • 80 grams of oatmeal;
  • half a glass of walnuts;
  • three eggs;
  • a third of a glass of peanuts;
  • three packs of medium-fat cottage cheese;
  • 107 grams of sugar;
  • half a glass of milk;
  • vanilla optional.

How to cook

Pour oatmeal into a bowl with warm milk. Leave, preferably covered with a plate or saucer.

In parallel, taking a mixer, beat white sugar with chilled eggs.

In a strong, relatively fluffy mixture, add cottage cheese sorted into pieces. Mix with the same mixer, adding vanilla

Now, in a blender or kitchen grinder, chop the walnuts and peanuts (fried in a dry frying pan and peeled).

Sprinkle with nut mixture. Add flakes steamed in milk. Mix for the last time (you can use a spatula for this).

Cook in a generously oiled form cottage cheese and oatmeal casserole at 180 degrees for about 40-43 minutes.

If you have the opportunity to include other nuts in your baking, do so. Indeed, it is in this case that a large number of different nuts will only further enhance the taste of this dessert, since they are very close to each other.

Option 11: Diet cottage cheese and oatmeal casserole in a slow cooker

The last recipe is dedicated to a diet casserole, where we will replace sugar with honey, and instead of whole eggs we will use only proteins. In addition, we will transfer the culinary process from the oven to a modern slow cooker.

Ingredients:

  • 525 grams of fat-free cottage cheese;
  • three dessert spoons of liquid honey;
  • 85 grams of oatmeal;
  • 110 grams of natural yogurt;
  • four egg whites;
  • vanillin optional;
  • bowl oil.

Step by step recipe

Warm natural yogurt without additives and sugar in the microwave for a few seconds.

Pour cereal into a medium bowl. Pour in warm yogurt. Leave aside.

Beat the protein with a mixer. Having received a not very lush, but relatively strong lightened mass, combine with cottage cheese.

Continue mixing. Pour in liquid honey when the protein and cottage cheese mix well.

Also sprinkle with vanilla and shift the cereal with yogurt. Knead a sticky dough.

The bowl of the multicooker, wiped dry, grease with a small amount of oil. Place a thick mass.

Snap the lid. By setting the "Baking" mode, cook the dessert for the planned 40 minutes.

After turning off the machine, carefully remove the cottage cheese and oatmeal casserole. Decorate with non-fat sour cream or honey and serve with green tea for breakfast or lunch.

Before removing the pastry from the bowl, it is advisable to cool it by opening the lid. Then it is important to pry the casserole with a spatula from all sides and transfer it to a flat dish. In this case, everything must be done carefully so as not to damage the structure of the cake.
