If you want to cook delicious pastries with honey and poppy seeds on Makovey, then this recipe is exactly what you need. It's pretty easy to prepare. So, you will need the ingredients:

  • 2 full glasses of flour
  • 4 large eggs or 5 medium eggs
  • 200 ml Turkish yogurt
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • A quarter cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • A quarter cup of poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter or vegetable oil (for greasing the pan)

Whisk eggs well in a bowl, add yogurt and stir. Add honey, lemon juice and lemon zest, mix well again. When the liquid has cooled to 20 ° C, add yeast, lemon juice or citric acid and leave to stand for 10-12 hours.
Cool, pour into bottles and cork them.

Monastery honey.

1 kg. honey, zl. water, 2 teaspoons of hops.
Mix honey with water and boil over low heat for 3 hours. Put hops, a small pebble in gauze, and tie it in a knot, lower it into a pan with honey (the pebble is necessary so that the hops do not float up). Boil honey with hops for 1 hour, periodically, as it boils away, adding hot water.
Remove the honey from the heat and strain it while still warm through cheesecloth into a glass or wooden bowl. In this case, the container should be filled no more than 4/5 of the volume. Leave the dishes in a warm place (near the stove, battery) for honey to ferment. As a rule, it begins a day or two after the honey is boiled.
When the honey ferments (stops hissing), pour half a glass of well-brewed tea into it (1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 1 cup of boiling water). Then, without stirring, strain the honey through a flannel (preferably several times).
Strained honey is already ready for consumption. However, it will acquire excellent taste after a year of storage in a cool place.

2 kg cod fillet
1 liter of milk
50g raisins
25 g butter
1 bulb

500 ml dry white wine
3 lemons
400 g sour cream
ground black pepper, salt
Boil milk, remove it from heat. Put the fish fillet in hot milk for 3 minutes, after which the fish is gently squeezed out and cut into 6 portions. Pour the raisins with boiling water for 10 minutes, then drain the water. Squeeze the juice from two lemons, and cut the third into thin slices. Chop the onion. In a saucepan over low heat, fry the onion with honey and raisins in butter. When the mixture lacaramelizes, pour in hot wine with lemon juice, put lemon slices. Boil for a few seconds, reduce the heat, put the pieces of fish, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10 min. Remove the finished fish, lemon and raisins from the sauce. Add sour cream to it, mix and pour sauce over fish.

Potatoes in vinegar-honey mixture

Potatoes 1 kg (small)
Vinegar 5 tbsp. l
Honey 1 tsp
Basil 2 bunches
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l

Products: 1-2 tbsp. honey, 2-3 carrots, 0.5 cups of walnut kernels (almond or peanut), lemon juice, salt, 2 tbsp. fresh cherries or compote.

Ingredients
(for 2 servings):

Arugula - 1 pack (75 g),
white chicory - 2 pcs.,
cherry tomatoes - 12 pcs.

For refueling:

Honey (liquid) - 2-3 teaspoons (the amount depends on your taste preferences),
soy sauce - 3-4 teaspoons (to taste),
lemon juice - 1 teaspoon,
pomegranate seeds for sprinkling - 3-4 tablespoons.

Cooking:

Cut cherry tomatoes in half, cut chicory lengthwise and quickly fry on both sides in a hot grill pan without oil so that “scorch marks” appear on them. Arrange arugula, chicory halves and cherry tomatoes on serving plates.

For dressing, mix honey, soy sauce and lemon juice, beat with a fork or whisk. If desired, you can add a little olive oil.

Do not mix the salad, but pour the “composition” on the plate with dressing and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.

Salad "Carrots with honey"

Another simple, delicious and extremely vitamin salad. Prepares very quickly. It can be served both for breakfast, supplemented with cottage cheese or toast with cheese, and for meat and poultry dishes. If you make it for lunch or dinner, then choose mashed potatoes and broccoli or classic potato as a side dish.

Ingredients(for 2 servings):

Carrots (not very large) - 4 pcs.,
honey - 2 teaspoons,
salt - to taste,
lemon juice - 10-15 drops.

Cooking:

Cucumbers (medium fruit) - 6 pcs.,
dill - 1 bunch,
honey (liquid) - 4 teaspoons + for decoration,
apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons,
boiled water (slightly warm) - 4 teaspoons,
salt - 2 teaspoons.

Cooking:

Ingredients:

  • flour - 300 g
  • kefir (whey) - 200 ml
  • 1 egg
  • salt - 0.5 tsp
  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • soda - 0.5 tsp
  • For poppy seed filling:
  • poppy seeds - 100 g (this is a bit much, you can take half)
  • sugar - 3 tbsp.
  • water - 200 ml
  • honey - 1-2 tbsp.
