We pinch the edges. Make a hole in the center of the cake to let air out. Lubricate the surface of the product with a beaten egg. Let stand for 10 minutes in a warm place so that the dough comes up a little more. We put in the oven, which we preheat to 180 degrees. Bake for about 40 minutes.

  • bulb - 1 pc.;
  • frozen vegetable mixture - 50 g;
  • ground sweet paprika - 1 teaspoon;
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • vegetable oil (for frying) - 2-3 tbsp. spoons.

How to make potato pie dough

  1. We wash the potato tubers, peel and boil in the usual way. Drain the liquid from the finished potato, mash the mass into a puree.
  2. Throw salt, add butter. We stir.
  3. Sprinkle flour in parts, knead soft, slightly oily potato dough.

  4. After peeling off the husk, finely chop a small onion. Stirring, fry in hot vegetable oil.
  5. As soon as the onion is slightly golden, load the minced meat. We keep the mixture on high heat, stirring the meat mass and breaking large lumps with a spatula. There is no need to fry the minced meat strongly - we only achieve lightening of the mass and evaporation of moisture.
  6. Salt, pepper the contents of the pan, add sweet ground paprika (do not confuse with hot red pepper!). Pour in the thawed vegetable mixture.
  7. Mix everything thoroughly, remove from the stove and cool.
  8. We evenly stretch the potato dough inside the mold with a diameter of 22 cm. Raise the board with a height of 2.5-3 cm.
  9. In the prepared potato "basket" lay out the cooled minced meat with vegetables in an even layer.
  10. Fresh tomatoes cut into thin segments, evenly distributed over the meat mass.
  11. Three large straws of cheese, thickly fill the filling. We send the potato pie with minced meat to the preheated oven. Bake at 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
  12. Having cooled a little, we bring the finished toasted potato pie with minced meat to the table. Baking is good both warm and completely cooled.
