Cookies "crow's feet". Cottage cheese cookies "Triangles" (crow's feet)

For many parents who know that cottage cheese is a real storehouse of calcium, it is a huge problem to feed children with this healthy product. All the little fidgets don’t want to eat cottage cheese with sour cream, as every adult is used to, complaining that it is “tasteless” and “sour”. But how then to be, not to leave the growing organism to the mercy of fate just because you didn’t like the cottage cheese? There is a solution and it is very simple. You just need to cook some delicious dessert: someone fries pies, someone bakes cheesecakes, and someone makes amazing goose paws curd cookies.

Time: 90 minutes

Servings: 20–25 pieces

The preparation of this dessert will not be difficult, and the taste will noticeably please. In addition, the recipe for this dish is special. Why? Thanks to him, the unloved and boring cottage cheese turns into something special, tender and tasty.

  • 200 grams of cottage cheese;
  • 2 cups of flour;
  • 200 grams of butter;
  • ½ cup sugar;
  • 1 egg;
  • ½ teaspoon of soda.

Step by step recipe

  1. How to make shortbread cookies "Goose paws"? To begin with, it is worth freezing the butter, however, not very much. Otherwise, it will not be possible to grate it. Rub the cold butter on the large side. You should get an oily crumb. Everything must be done very quickly so that the product does not have time to melt, otherwise nothing will work.
  2. Now it's the turn of the curd. First of all, this dairy product should be crushed a little with a blender or a spoon so that there are no lumps. Then add to the oil bowl and mix well.
  3. Then we take flour. It is worth paying attention to its quality, it is best to take the highest grade so that the finished dough is white, beautiful and airy. And also the flour should be passed through a sieve, so it will be saturated with oxygen and it will become much easier, and this will have the best effect on the finished product. Add the prepared flour to the bowl with dairy products and mix well.
  4. Now, according to the recipe, it remains to add only a little quick soda and 1 chicken egg. Carefully mix them into the future cottage cheese cookies.
  5. Now the resulting dough needs to be rolled into a ball. If it is too sticky and liquid (maybe due to wet cottage cheese), then it is worth adding a little more flour, and then mix and check the consistency. Repeat this process until the desired result is achieved. The finished elastic ball must be packed in cling film and sent to the refrigerator or freezer for 30 minutes.
  6. The recipe for cookies with cottage cheese is very simple, so you should not bother too much. You just need to remove the ball from the refrigerator and use a rolling pin to roll it into a small layer (thickness is not more than ½ centimeter), and then use a glass or a mold to cut out even, beautiful mugs-flat cakes.
  7. It remains only to make the cookies themselves, to give them a shape. Each circle must be dipped in sugar.
  8. Then fold in half with the sugar side inward.
  9. Then, according to the same principle, dip again, fold and dip. You should get a triangle with rounded sides - "houndstooth".
  10. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet. It is worth paying attention to the fact that there should be a distance between two adjacent "legs". Otherwise, they will stick together, become ugly and will not be able to rise normally.
  11. A leaf with dessert is sent to an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius and baked in it for exactly 15 minutes, then the temperature drops to 160 degrees and at it the dish will be suitable for about 10 more minutes. The time is indicated approximately and due to the individual characteristics of the oven it can vary greatly, so no one canceled the observation of the state of the “legs”.
  12. Ready-made cookies may be slightly damp when removed from the pan. Therefore, if possible, then it is worth giving them about an hour so that they can dry out, and only then serve, but this is not critical.

Using this recipe, you can easily prepare a quick and tasty treat that will appeal not only to adults, but also to picky kids. In addition, this is not just a useless sweet dessert, but a real helper that carries a lot of vitamins, as well as macro and microelements.

Cook delicious and enjoy your meal!

Dear friends, I am sharing with you a recipe for a very tasty curd biscuit. The dough is very tender, airy, flaky inside. For everything to work out, it is important to observe the temperature regime of the oven. At 210 degrees, moisture will quickly evaporate from the cookies, so they will bake well and acquire the correct structure. If the temperature is lower, the cookies may remain raw inside and rise poorly.

Remembering this recipe, I decided to make Goose Paws cookies from cottage cheese based on it. It turned out just great! If your kids don't like cottage cheese, this is a great way to change their minds for the better. You don’t need to add an egg to the dough, baking is already very soft, with a crispy crust on top.

How to cook goose paws cookies from cottage cheese:

Cut butter into small pieces. Transfer it to a dry bowl and heat it up on the stove or in the microwave.

Melt the butter and leave it for a while to cool down a bit.

Place medium-fat cottage cheese in a deep bowl.

Add melted butter to it, following the Goose Paws cookie recipe with a photo.

Using an immersion blender, beat the mixture into a homogeneous thick mass.

Then mix the dough until smooth, divide it into two parts and wrap it in plastic bags or cling film. Let's send the dough for 1 hour in the refrigerator so that it cools down and becomes easier to work with.

Cut off a small piece of dough. Roll it out on a floured surface into a layer 3 mm thick. Cut out circles with a diameter of 10 centimeters from the dough, as required by the Goose Paws cottage cheese cookie recipe.

Dip a round blank on one side in sugar.

Then fold the workpiece in half so that the sugar side is inside. Dip the semi-circle of dough in sugar again.

Fold the workpiece with sugar inside. Dip it in sugar on one side only.

Now press the edges of the blanks with a fork so that the cookies keep their shape well during baking. In addition, baking is even more reminiscent of a goose foot.

How to cook

My remarks

  • In different recipes, there are different ratios of cottage cheese, butter and flour. I like the taste of cookies most of all, in which these products contain approximately the same amount or a little more flour. With this ratio, the cookies are more “layered” and tasty in my opinion.

Cookies are well stored in tightly closed tins - in this form they can be sent to sugar-suffering students, if they are in your family.

Here you can watch a video on how to make goose paws cottage cheese cookies. The recipe is different, but also good.

All delicious pastries and good evening!
