Food! ” throughout the country will be dedicated to Slow Food - this international movement supports local gastronomic traditions, farming and ecology, teaches you to live slowly and enjoy food. In Moscow, participants of “Oh, yes! Food!" they will present guests with a special festival menu in the spirit of Slow Food (and street food can be like that!), and in the Theater of Taste, top chefs of the city will prepare author's seasonal dishes according to traditional recipes from farm products.
Real gastronomic battles will unfold right at the festival - here the leading restaurant and media groups of Moscow will compete in culinary skills. And no usual master classes! In the "Kitchen" Oh yes! Food!" guests will be able to cook their own festival dish under the guidance of the chef.
Annual part festival "Oh yes! Food!" - Lecture hall. Here guests will be able to get to know the Slow Food movement and its mission, understand why farm products are so fashionable, find out what food sharing and sensory are. On the second day, the speakers of the Lecture Hall will talk about the most common mistakes that happen when opening a restaurant business, and share stories about the “rake” that they themselves stepped on.
On one of the islands of the Krasnaya Presnya Park, a Day Time Party will open - famous TV presenters, Youtube and Instagram bloggers will give unusual culinary master classes and communicate with guests here. Festival participants will be able to drink a summer cocktail with the heroes of their Instagram feed, dance to music sets from popular DJs and have a great time - the whole fashion community of Moscow will gather at the Day Time Party!
In the days of "Oh yes! Food!" Krasnaya Presnya Park will become a real gastronomic city - independent mini-festivals dedicated to individual products will unfold right inside the big festival. And nowhere without summer sound - for two days in a row, young musicians from Moscow and St. Petersburg will perform on “Oh, yes! Food!" right out in the open.
And what else? A football championship between restaurant groups, a summer cinema and a #coachellanaodaeda competition for the most fashionable guests. By the way, a picnic is ideal to get out on it with children! On "Oh yes! Food!" there will be games on the grass, mini-workshops, cupcakes and soft ice cream (parents can too!). The most delicious summer festival “Oh yes! Food!" will be held on June 11 and 12 in Gorky Park. The entire embankment will turn into a giant food court, where the entire gastronomic panorama of Moscow will be presented. Among the participants of the festival: gastronomic startups and large restaurant holdings, street food and the best chefs in Moscow, farms and gastronomic shops. The festival program is so rich and varied that everyone, regardless of age and culinary preferences, will find something to their taste in it. The partner of the Big Summer Festival in Moscow and St. Petersburg will be the Mir payment card, a national project created to ensure the security, convenience and independence of payments in the country.
The theme of the festival in 2016: "Cooked in Russia".
