When it completely absorbs all the flour, add a spoonful of olive or sunflower oil to it and continue to knead the dough thoroughly for 5-7 minutes. The dough should become soft, tender, not sticky to your hands.

Return the dough to a deep bowl, cover with a napkin and leave in a warm place to rise. When it doubles in size, knead it well again and divide it into unequal 2 parts.

Roll out one of them, which is larger, with a rolling pin and put it in a baking dish, slightly stretching and smoothing the edges with your hands. Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.

At this point, prepare the filling: cut the cooled beef into thin slices or strips.

Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater.

Put the meat on top of the dough in a form.

Sprinkle generously with cheese on top.

Lay the second piece of rolled out dough on top. Pressing with your fingers, connect the edges. Cover again with a napkin and leave for 15-20 minutes to let the dough rise.

Then send to the oven. Bake a pie with meat and cheese at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

  • Step 1 Prepare dough. Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add softened butter and egg. Then add the sifted flour, salt, sugar in portions. Knead pastry dough.
  • Step 2 Next, divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll each part into a circle, about 1 cm thick. Using a lid, cut off the edges so that both circles are the same diameter. With a bowl of smaller diameter than the dough blanks, mark a circle in the middle - for the filling.
  • Step 3 Prepare the filling. Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until golden. Add minced meat and fry everything together until cooked. At the end of frying, add chopped garlic. Salt and sprinkle with spices. You can add some chopped greens.
  • Step 4 Add 1-2 tsp to minced meat. flour, mix and pour in a little water - so the finished minced meat will not crumble in the pie. Mince to cool.
  • Step 5 A circle of dough that was planned to be placed on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Carefully place the minced meat filling in the intended middle of the lower circle of dough. Put grated cheese on the edge.
  • Step 6 Cover with a second circle of dough and also highlight the middle with a bowl - it should be convex. With a sharp knife, make cuts from the edge of the middle at a distance of 3-4 cm.

Very tasty and hearty pie with meat filling. I took the dough from it without changes, and actually there is nothing to change there, since the dough is already perfect)) I transformed the filling by adding cheese and eggs, adding cheese, as you might expect, makes the taste more “cheesy”, besides it, like eggs, serves to ensure that the cake keeps its shape well when sliced.
