Easy recipes for children 12 years old desserts. Children's birthday menu: desserts for children

Pampering a baby with sweets is not only an opportunity to expand the horizons of taste, but also a way of education - a measure to encourage a child and even one of the pleasant ways to improve health.

What is dessert

Dessert(from French desservir - "to clear the table") - the final dish of the table, to get a pleasant taste sensation at the end of lunch or dinner, usually sweet delicacies. As a rule, the dessert is sweet (for example, cake or ice cream), but there are also unsweetened desserts made from fruits, nuts, cheeses, unsweetened confectionery.

Desserts are mostly sweet and are a source of so-called "fast" carbohydrates - glucose and fructose, which "nourish" the brain, stimulate the production of endorphins (pleasure hormones) and cheer up the baby. Even “little kids” and “whims” are unlikely to refuse to taste a delicious and beautifully decorated delicacy.

Fruits included in the dessert are a source of carbohydrates - glucose, fructose or maltose, as well as vitamins and minerals, food organic acids. In addition, desserts are rich in essential oils, tannins, fiber (dietary fiber), pectin.

Sweets and baked goods are less useful, primarily because they contain a lot of sugar. Up to 1 year, sugar is not recommended for use in the diet of a child, after this age, you can add no more than 30 g of sugar per day for children 1–1.5 years old and 40–45 g for babies from 1.5 to 3 years old. Until the age of 3, a child should not be offered chocolate and desserts based on it, fatty cakes with cream and margarine, with dyes and flavors. It is permissible to use jams, jams, marmalade, marshmallows, honey in desserts (from 2 years old, if there is no allergy).

Desserts are given after the main meal - at lunch or dinner, in small quantities and taking into account the age of the child. Up to 1 year, fruits are suitable as a dessert, after 1 year it can be fruits with dairy products, and after 2 years pastries also join. You should not give desserts in between meals, they are sweet and can kill the appetite for a long time.

First year of life

For children of the first year of life, the choice of desserts is limited - usually these are various fruit purees or mixtures with dairy products. Baby's first fruits should be local (grow in the area where you live), soft in color, and foods that cause fermentation in the intestines (for example, grapes, pears, apples, plums, peaches) should be avoided.

After 1 year, the number of options for desserts expands - babies usually already have a sufficient number of teeth and can eat desserts cut into pieces. The range of products from which desserts can be prepared is also expanding - berries and exotic fruits appear (if the child does not have allergies), cream, honey, pastries.

However, when choosing desserts, you need to take into account the health of the baby - if he is allergic, then citrus fruits, strawberries, raspberries, honey and bright fruits should be postponed until the age of 3 years. If a child is overweight, cream, bananas, pastries should be excluded from his desserts, as they are sources of a large amount of carbohydrates and calories. For constipation, fruits rich in fiber are useful - kiwi, plums, peaches and vegetables with a peel. With an unstable stool, desserts with cereals (rice, semolina), delicate vegetables that are low in fiber (for example, zucchini, cauliflower) and pears are useful.

A A

Preparing your baby for independent living should start from the cradle. It only seems that the little one will be a "hindrance" for mom while she is preparing dinner. In fact, a two-year-old can already be trusted to beat eggs, for example. Or sifting flour. A 5-year-old child is already a more experienced helper. He is able to mix the salad, and decorate the dish, and make dumplings. Well, a child over 8 years old can already be allowed to go to the stove. But only under the supervision of mom! The main thing is to choose the right dish.

Your attention - the best recipes for young chefs!

Sandwiches for the festive table

The simplest dish that even a kid of 2-3 years old can easily cope with.

What to look for in the bins:

  • Bread (sliced).
  • 6-7 leaves of green salad.
  • A couple tbsp mayonnaise.
  • Sliced ham and salami.
  • Sliced cheese.
  • Greenery.
  • Polka dots.

And pickles, olives and boiled carrots (which mom will pre-cut into circles).

There are no cooking instructions. Because in this case, everything depends only on the imagination of the child (and the mother who helps him). Food, as you know, should be not only healthy and tasty, but also ... aesthetic in appearance. And on sandwiches, that is, where fantasies can roam - mice, cats, Smeshariki, a marine theme and much more.

We stock up on food "materials" and forward to creativity!

Crispy cucumbers in a tub - getting ready for a delicious winter

Yes, imagine, and a child can cook this too. Real pickles prepared by the hands of your own son (daughter) - what could be tastier!

Of course, you will have to help a little, but the main work is on the young cook (let him feel his involvement in the “great”). And if the child himself is also a fan of crunching cucumber under potatoes, then cooking will be doubly interesting. A real adult dish for a growing child.

Do not worry, there are no glass jars and boiling brine in the recipe, and a child over 12 years old can even cope with this Russian dish on his own.

What to look for in the bins:

  • Cucumbers are fresh and small. Quantity - in accordance with the container (about 5 kg).
  • Salt. For 2 liters of brine - 140 g of salt.

  4. We take 1/3 of the spices and cover the bottom of the prepared tub with them. Next - a layer of cucumbers, which must be laid as tightly and vertically as possible (“standing”). Then another layer of spices and another layer of cucumbers. After that, all the cucumber beauty is covered with the rest of the spices, and on top of them we lay horseradish leaves.
  5. Above - oppression, on which the load is placed. And then we pour everything with brine. How to make it? In the water cooled down after boiling (warm, 2 l), we dissolve 140 g of salt and pour our cucumbers so that they are completely covered with brine.

It is done. We cover with a lid and forget about cucumbers for a couple of days, leaving the "dish" in the kitchen or room.

On the 3rd day, as soon as the process of initial fermentation has started, we hide the tub where it is dark and cool for at least a month.

Fruit butterflies - for the summer mood!

Bon appetit and success to young chefs!

Before you allow your child to cook simple meals on their own, study with them. It is better if for the kitchen you prepare a colorful memo-instruction for the baby - which you can also draw with him.

What kind of food do your kids cook? Share your kids recipes with us!

Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is to treat the baby with sweets or a delicious children's dessert, because everyone knows how children love sweets. But is it possible for children to have sweets, especially at such a tender age?

If you look at it, this desire of adults is dictated more by the need to rejoice in looking at the child than by his real needs at this age. The fact is that the period of introduction of complementary foods is a complex and rather long process of restructuring the child's body during the transition from milk nutrition to new food. This stage is considered critical in the life of every baby. This is due to the fact that the digestive, immune and other systems of the child's body involved in adapting to a new type of product are still very immature, the intestinal microflora is delicate and vulnerable, and the slightest nutritional disturbances can cause significant harm to a small person.

The main task of parents in the first year of life of the crumbs is to introduce him to the main products (vegetables, cereals, meat, fruits, yolk, dairy products, fish), adhering to the complementary feeding scheme, which is designed taking into account the physiological readiness of the child to accept and assimilate new food. The introduction of foods and dishes that do not correspond to the physiological capabilities of the baby can lead to a breakdown in adaptation and provoke the development of allergic reactions, digestive disorders, intestinal dysbiosis and other undesirable problems.

For this reason, you should not rush to give your child sweets until at least 10 months old, until the main complementary foods are introduced.

Can a child have sugar?

Dessert for children as a "sweet point" at the end of the meal is introduced into the baby's menu only in the second year of life. If parents still decide to pamper their little gourmet earlier, they should choose the right “goodies” that are suitable for the baby in age and will not harm his health.

Dangerous! Unfortunately, foods containing sugar and other refined foods, hydrogenated fats, and harmful food additives often fall into the category of children's desserts. Acquaintance with such "goodies" is better to postpone until a later time.

Desserts for children: basic rules

Note the following requirements for children's desserts:

  • Culinary delights for the little ones should contain products already familiar to the baby, otherwise the dessert can cause allergies or problems with the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Desserts for children should be easy to digest with few ingredients so as not to overload the child's immature enzymatic system.
  • Desserts are ideal for children without sugar, which do not lead to the development of food allergies in the child, caries, the appearance of excess weight, and disruption of the digestive system.
  • In the preparation of desserts for children under 1 year old, it is not recommended to use additives such as honey, gelatin, cocoa, spices and spices due to their high allergenicity. The use of semolina is allowed as a thickener for desserts "year-olds".

Sweets menu by month

  • 6 months: for dessert, crumbs can be given fruit and fruit and berry purees.
  • 7 months: baby biscuits, unleavened biscuits, biscuits without additives (no more than 15 g per day, i.e. give one biscuit or one biscuit).
  • 8 months: fruit and milk purees and juices.
  • 10–11 months: fruit and berry mousses
  • 12 months: souffle, puddings (from cereals, cottage cheese, fruits and eggs), jelly.

Advice! The composition of any soufflé or pudding necessarily includes beaten egg white, which is highly allergenic. Therefore, it is preferable to use less allergenic quail eggs for making puddings and soufflés and include these dishes in the baby's diet only if egg white is well tolerated. In general, mothers of allergic babies should postpone the baby's acquaintance with desserts for children containing brightly colored fruits and berries (red, orange), eggs, whole cow's milk, up to 1–1.5 years.

So, a balanced diet will provide the baby with everything necessary for full growth and development, and too much variety in products will only give extra stress to a small body. Be patient, and after a while you will be able to serve your beloved child with a variety of delicious dishes without harm to his health.
