On the cooled cookies, use a cornet with icing to apply thin lines in the form of skeletal bones (quite arbitrary, of course!).

Creepy bloody eyes on a plate. Children will be delighted!

You will need large round chocolate chip cookies, chocolate waffle cones and chocolate ice cream to fill. For decoration, you will need colored dragees and green-colored glaze. Before serving, make a ribbon of icing by running a cornet over the junction of the waffle cone and biscuits, and strengthen one dragee.

Melt white (not porous!) chocolate with a small amount of heavy cream in a water bath. When all the chocolate has melted, dip each strawberry, holding it by the tail, into the chocolate and quickly transfer to a tray lined with baking paper. When laying the berries on the sheet, stretch them slightly so that the excess chocolate forms "ghost tails". Before the chocolate hardens, stick in a couple of small brown balls of confectionery sprinkles - these will be the eyes of the ghost. Place in refrigerator. When the chocolate has hardened, dip a toothpick into the melted dark chocolate and draw an open mouth.

In order for you to get a meringue for glory, pay attention to the tips of our site. Having been theoretically savvy, start preparing a wonderful and even not at all scary dessert for the kids. Take 50 g of powdered sugar for each protein. Add a little lemon juice or crystalline citric acid to the proteins, mix and start whipping, adding powder. Beat until "hard peaks" are reached, when the whites are firmly attached to the whisk and do not fall off. Using a pastry bag, pipe the meringues onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, deliberately pulling them up to make ghost heads (like in Disney cartoons). Stick raisin eyes in the meringue and bake in a not very hot oven for an hour and a half. Let cool in the oven and carefully remove from the sheet. Molten chocolate can be used to draw a mouth.

2 packets of semi-finished jelly made from strawberries, raspberries or other bright red berries,
1 bag of gummies in the form of worms,
blue or green food coloring
deep plate with painted eyes and mouth.

Cooking:
Dilute the jelly according to the instructions on the package, reducing the amount of water by about a third. Pour off part of the jelly and color it with dye (the color will turn out just disgusting). Pour the red jelly into a bowl and refrigerate to set. Stir the jelly several times so that its surface even remotely resembles the cerebral cortex. Stick gummy worms into the frozen jelly, melt the jelly dyed with dye and pour disgusting streaks over all this abomination. Brrr...

And, of course, you can’t do without the queen of a creepy ball - pumpkins. For kids, a real pumpkin pie will be the best treat. And if you decorate it with an ominous web, then it will also be a terribly delicious cake.

Ingredients:
300 g pumpkin,
100 g butter,
150 g sugar
3 eggs,
1 lemon
1 stack flour,
1 tsp soda.
For decoration:

Add zest, pumpkin and lemon juice, mix and add flour and soda. Stir until smooth and put the dough into a greased form. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180ºС, for 30-40 minutes. Pour the brown glaze over the cooled cake, let dry. Using a cornet, apply circles of white icing on the surface of the cake at a distance of 1.5-2 cm from each other. Then, using a thin wooden stick, draw radial strips from the center to the edges, while the circles will be deformed. The web is ready! Get a toy or edible spider and put it on a pie.

Blue-green lemonade. You will need bright yellow lemonade, green and blue food coloring, and ice cubes. Pour lemonade into glasses, put ice and drip a drop of blue and green dye. With a thin stick, lightly stir the ice in the glasses, but do not stir so that bright dye streaks spread inside.

Halloween is an unusual holiday. Halloween treats are just as original. Recipes for "terrible" and interesting dishes are presented in this article.

Halloween is the holiday of all the dead. It has very deep historical roots. Halloween has been celebrated since ancient times on the last day of October, namely 31st. This day is considered the last harvest date. It is believed that ending its fertile season, the soil has strength and power.

It is on Halloween that the earth is able to "resurrect" the dead ancestors buried in it. For that so that ghosts do not disturb the harmony of the world of the living, it was decided to scare them away in all sorts of ways. To do this, people dressed up in costumes and put on terrible masks, similar to the faces of the dead.

Realizing that among them are exactly the same creatures, the ghosts did not touch the living. They disappeared when the sun rose on the first of November.

The symbol of the holiday is pumpkin. This fruit is the last in the harvest and therefore it has a lot of significance for the holiday. Pumpkin is the main decorative element of Halloween and its the main ingredient of the dishes. Treats can be like literally cooked pumpkin snacks, thai repeat its external signs.

Halloween is celebrated on the night of October 31st to November 1st. And although it obviously has mystical roots, today everything is much simpler. This is a holiday of mischief, buffoonery and ... childhood. After all, never again do people eat so many sweets and make so many incredibly beautiful and very sweet desserts, extort candy from their neighbors and don't put on creepy costumes to drive away death. Sweets are guides to childhood. Try to carve pumpkins and cook something traditional - it's very tasty! And if you have never tried it before, it is also informative.

A bit of history

When the British began settling in America in the 1600s, they brought Halloween traditions with them. Not as popular as it is now, Halloween traditions grew in the New World, but did not become popular until the early 20th century, when the modern version of the holiday appeared.

Culinary traditions have survived to this day. And their main ingredient is sweets. Candies, sweet corn, pumpkins, apples - that's what Americans eat on Halloween. Of course, they are complemented by modern dishes like witch fingers cookies, cupcakes with cute bat figures and millions of versions of bloody drinks. But we will focus only on the traditional table.

Sweet Bread Barmbreck

Barmbrek - barley rich bread with raisins and dried apricots. This is the central sweet in the Irish version of Halloween. It is also called "All Saints' Bread" and is used to play divination. A stick, a silver coin, a ring, a piece of cloth are put into one or more loaves. Each thing symbolizes something - from misfortune and poverty to wealth and marriage (marriage) next year.

caramel apples

One of the most popular desserts has two types: in soft caramel and in sugar hard caramel. Try both at once!

Use the Fuji and Granny Smith varieties: firm, crunchy and sour. They go great with sweet caramel and hold their shape at high temperatures.

Apples in sugar caramel (Candy apples) appeared more than a hundred years ago by pure chance. One American confectioner William Kolb in 1908 was looking for ways to sell more red caramel with cinnamon. And he came up with the idea that you can dip apples in it, and then sell them on a stick. It is bright, beautiful and very fabulous. Within a couple of years, apples in a red glossy crust have become the number one autumn sweet, especially on Halloween.

How to cook such caramel apples can be found in the Mozart Cake recipe. Pierre Erme. Add some red or black food coloring to the caramel and your apples will be a "terribly beautiful" Halloween table decoration.

Apples in soft caramel (Caramel/ Toffy apples). Wrapped in what we used to call "toffee", they appeared much later In the 1950s, Kraft Foods employee Dan Walker invented them. Like the candy version, this one came from experimenting with candy for Halloween sales. He just melted the soft caramel and dipped the apples in it - that's the whole story.

Bonfire toffee (seasoned caramel)

Such caramel is prepared on the basis of molasses - dark molasses. It is a hard, bitter caramel strongly associated with Halloween and bonfire night in the UK. It is more like a lozenge than a soft chewy candy.

Soul cake a small round biscuit very popular in Britain. It is baked on Halloween to be distributed to children and the poor in exchange for a promise to pray for the dead. Today, this tradition is not as common as "sweets in exchange for a wish", but it is known in Portugal and northeast England.

Cookies are usually made from shortcrust pastry, cinnamon, ginger, raisins are added. Before baking, a cross is drawn on the cookies. It is traditionally served with a glass of wine.
