Several times I just bought chicken fillet, and I was so unlucky that even with prolonged stewing it was impossible to chew them. That is why I prefer to buy whole chicken breasts on the bone, leave the bone for soup, and already make something delicious from the fillet! Today I want to offer you a very simple recipe. chicken skewers in the oven!

So, the recipe is very simple!

Recipe:

  1. Chicken breast - 800 gr.
  2. Onion - 1 large onion
  3. Garlic - 3 cloves
  4. Soy sauce - 2 tbsp. spoons
  5. Dry paprika - 1 tsp
  6. Salt - to taste * I advise you not to salt too much, because salt draws juices out of any meat very much, and becomes one of the reasons for dry barbecue in the oven. It is better to under-salt and serve ready-made kebab with sauces or add a little more soy sauce.
  7. Pepper - to taste
  8. Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. spoons
  9. Butter - 3-4 slices (to taste)

Cooking:

*Immediately turn on the oven at 200-210 gr. Adapt the temperature to your oven, better higher than lower! The chicken cooks very quickly. The vegetable oil in the marinade contributes to even additional frying. At high temperatures, a crust immediately forms and does not allow all the juices to come out of the meat.

Ready! Serve with vegetables, pickles at your discretion!

Today I will write in detail a simple recipe for chicken skewers, which can be cooked at home in a frying pan and in the oven. Ideal for a children's table (by the way).

The dish is a success at children's parties, as everyone loves my wooden skewers, all children love chicken, especially when the pieces are soft and juicy.

I take a chicken fillet (1-1.5 kg) without a bone and separate a small fillet (useful for us for gravy, meatballs or meatballs). Pieces are needed relatively the same and even. Like these ones:


Marinade: 2 tablespoons olive oil, 3 tablespoons sour cream, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.

We also cut the onion into large rings, throw it into a bowl with chicken and marinade, but we will not serve it to children, not everyone likes it. Onions are also needed to soften the fillet.


I put the bowl in the fridge. Minimum is 1 hour. Better for a day!

Now I string the pieces on wooden skewers, peeling them from the onion.

We take a large frying pan and fry our fillet directly on skewers in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown on all sides. You don't need to bring it to readiness! We just give a beautiful color to our kebabs. We put the semi-finished products on a large sheet of foil.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg chicken fillet;
  • 0.5 tsp dried garlic;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 0.5 lemon;
  • 10 g of salt;
  • 2 pinches of black pepper.

Rinse the fillet, dry it, remove the fat and cut into medium slices. Put the meat in a deep bowl. We clean the onion, cut it into medium cubes, interrupt in a blender until a puree state.

Advice! To quickly get mashed potatoes from onions, you can add 1-2 tbsp to the blender. water.

We add garlic, pepper, salt to the onion and squeeze fresh citrus juice. Mix everything and pour over the chicken. We stand the meat for 12 hours in the refrigerator.

We heat the oven to 200 degrees. We put the pickled breast on pre-soaked skewers. Lay them out on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes until lightly browned. Turn the skewers a couple of times so that they are cooked on all sides.

Baked fillet on skewers with vegetables

Such an appetizing and juicy chicken on bamboo skewers will be the highlight of any feast. White meat cooked with vegetables will be saturated with their flavors and become much juicier.

Ingredients:

  • 800 g chicken fillet;
  • 3 onions;
  • 3 tomatoes;
  • 3 bell peppers;
  • 300 ml of kefir;
  • 3 garlic cloves;
  • 0.5 tsp provencal herbs;
  • a little salt and black pepper.

We combine cold kefir with spices, salt and chopped garlic. We wash the chicken, divide it into pieces and immerse it in the kefir mixture. We clean the onions, chop them into large rings and also gently immerse them in the marinade. Leave the workpiece for half an hour at room temperature.

In the meantime, prepare the vegetables. Bulgarian fleshy pepper cut in half, take out the seeds and cut the flesh into square slices. Cut tomatoes in half or quarters depending on size.

Advice! The size of the vegetable pieces should match the size of the meat slices.

Now we alternately put on meat, onions, tomatoes and peppers on moistened bamboo sticks. Move the formed skewers to a baking sheet with foil.

Cover with another sheet of food foil, set to bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. 5 minutes before the end, remove the top foil and let the dish brown.

Marinade with soy sauce is great for chicken. The meat marinated in this way has a pleasant aftertaste and aroma. In addition, such a dish is prepared almost without salt.

Ingredients:

  • 600 g chicken breast;
  • 2 tsp dried basil;
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce;
  • 4-6 tbsp fresh lemon juice;
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • 2 pinches of black pepper;
  • some salt.

Rinse the fresh or thawed breast, dry it and cut into long strips with a square section, approximately 1.5-2 cm.

Advice! If you cut a large breast, then the length of the strips reaches 7-8 cm.

We put the chopped meat in a deep bowl, season with dried basil, black pepper and a little salt. Separately, mix soy sauce with lemon juice and chopped garlic. Pour the meat with marinade, mix by hand, tighten with a film. Let marinate for 30-40 minutes.

Soak the skewers in water for about 10-20 minutes. We drain the water, dry the sticks and put one strip on each. We string it as if we were threading a fabric with a needle to get a wavy shape. Now slightly scroll the fillet on a skewer to get a spiral.

We lay the blanks on the sides of a deep rectangular shape so that the meat is located above the mold, but does not touch its bottom. Add a little water to the bottom of the mold and send the structure to the oven. Bake the dish at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g chicken fillet;
  • 300 g potatoes;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar;
  • 10 g ginger powder;
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 1 tbsp refined mala;
  • 1 tsp spices for poultry;
  • 2 pinches of salt.

Now we make a fragrant marinade for the bird. We clean the clove of garlic, turn it into a homogeneous gruel. We combine oil, soy sauce, balsamic with garlic and spices. In the meantime, my potato tubers, peel and cut into washers. We heat water with salt to 100 degrees, lower the prepared potatoes there and cook for 5-7 minutes. We recline the contents in a colander and let drain all the liquid.

We oil the deep form, form a dense potato ball.

Secrets of cooking delicious chicken skewers on skewers:

First, the chicken breast should be marinated for a short time, about 1-2 hours. If the fillet is left in the marinade for a longer time, then the fibers will begin to break down, which will make the meat loose. At the same time, keep the chicken in the marinade at room temperature.
Secondly, since chicken breasts are a dietary product, they must first be beaten off a little with a kitchen hammer. This will allow the meat fibers to split and penetrate deeper into the marinade.

Kefir - 250 grams

Salt - to taste

Saffron - 1 teaspoon

Any container of a suitable size is suitable for this, I usually use a baking dish, which will then come in handy for me to cook kebabs. Pour water into the mold - 2-3 cm - and put the skewers. They need to stay in the water for about half an hour - the chicken fillet will just marinate.

After the allotted time, string the fillet pieces onto skewers. From a fillet weighing 200 grams, I got three skewers. We spread the skewers on the baking dish so that the skewers lie on the sides. Thus, it turns out that the kebab is “hanging” with us, and the meat does not touch the bottom of the form. Pour a little water into the mold itself, I left the one in which the skewers were soaked.

And we send the skewers to the oven, heated to 200 degrees. Chicken fillet is cooked very quickly, and after 20-25 minutes the skewers can be removed from the oven.
