Thoroughly wash off soil particles from each potato with a hard sponge. Pat the potatoes dry with paper towels. For the preparation of this dish, it is desirable to use starchy varieties of potatoes. After baking, the pulp of such a vegetable will become loose, soft. If there is little starch, the core will turn out sticky, tough.

Wrap each tuber in aluminum foil. Wrap carefully so that you can easily unfold later. You can make a deep cross-shaped incision on top so that the potatoes bake better. Lay on a baking sheet. Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees, on an average level. Bake 50-90 minutes until soft.

Unwrap the potatoes using a towel so you don't burn yourself. Cut the whole tubers in half, so it will be easier to get the core and fill it with the finished stuffing.
