While we were preparing the syrup, it was necessary to boil the lids in a separate bowl. Fill the jars again with liquid and roll them up. Next, turn them upside down and cover with a blanket. In this form, the seaming is stored until completely cooled, after which it can be transferred to a cool dark place. Of course, this is not the easiest option for making blackcurrant compote (the recipe with a photo is given in the article) is not the easiest, but the result is worth it.
