The recipe for chocolate sausage is familiar to our mothers and even grandmothers; in some families it is even passed down from generation to generation as a traditional family dessert. Classic sausage has the simplest composition of ingredients and takes only a few minutes to prepare. The main thing is to make it very tasty, use only high-quality products. Take butter without vegetable fillers, cocoa is a real aromatic powder. Much depends on the cookies: it’s better to take sweet biscuits, dry biscuits will not add flavor to the dessert, a classic sausage will be too dry.

Product composition

Finding the ingredients to make chocolate sausage won’t take much time – they can be found in any refrigerator or kitchen cabinet. It is recommended to first check the expiration dates; for sweets you need to use only high-quality fresh products.

List of ingredients for chocolate sausage:

  • 55-58 ml milk (depending on the dryness of the cookies);
  • 200-210 grams of butter;
  • 40-45 g cocoa powder (depending on the taste, children do not really like the rich taste of the dessert);
  • 350-400 g of sweet cookies;
  • 220-270 g granulated sugar (if the cookies are not too sweet, it is better to increase the amount of sugar or add less than a tablespoon of cocoa powder);
  • egg.

You should also stock up on cling film, parchment, and foil, which will allow you to give and maintain the shape of the sausage to the finished dessert.

Cooking step by step

We prepare chocolate sausage in stages, having previously prepared all the ingredients. If possible, purchase ready-made cookie crumbs or crumbled muffins - they are more convenient to prepare and cost much less. A little secret - depending on the type of cookies (baked, vanilla, milk) the taste of the finished sweet product changes, so every time you can pamper your family with a new dessert.

Preparing the chocolate treat:

  1. Grind the cookies (use a blender, rolling pin, meat grinder, or simply mash with your hands). Leave small particles, it’s better not to grind them into a fine powder, otherwise you won’t be able to make chocolate sausage - the mass will resemble a “Potato” cake.
  2. Mix cocoa powder and sugar.
  3. Melt the butter a little in a saucepan (make sure the mixture does not boil, the ingredient should only melt a little).
  4. Add the dry mixture (cocoa, sugar) to the melted butter, simmer for another five minutes, and remove.
  5. Grind the egg and add to the warm cream-like mixture.
  6. Mix the mixture well and add the cookie crumbs.
  7. Spread the parchment and place the prepared warm mixture on it.
  8. Form into a long thick sausage, wrap tightly, and refrigerate overnight.

According to the classic recipe, sugar is not replaced with powder, but housewives often add sweet powder to speed up the process. This does not affect the taste, but it is recommended to increase the mass of the ingredient - add 300 g of the product.

Recipe for homemade chocolate sausage with walnuts

Adding nuts to dessert allows you to change the taste of the delicacy, so you should not refuse such experiments. Despite the huge assortment in stores, walnuts are usually used. When purchasing, you should carefully inspect the shell - if there are traces of spoilage on it, it is better to refuse the purchase; most likely, the kernel will no longer be suitable for making sausage.

Before cooking, it is recommended to slightly dry the nut kernels in the oven. You should not fry it in a frying pan - the tasty ingredient may acquire a slightly bitter taste. Sweet sausage made from cookies will be more juicy if you additionally add pieces of candied fruit.

  • 260 g sugar;
  • 450-600 g cookies;
  • 50 g cocoa powder;
  • chopped walnuts to taste (do not overuse the ingredient, it is better not to add more than 100 g).

How to make an unusual sweet sausage without milk

It often happens that you have all the ingredients on hand except milk. This is not a reason to give up cooking. Chocolate sausage from cookies is easy and simple to make without this essential component. The dessert will taste no different from the classic cake. As in the basic recipes, you can’t do without cookies and cocoa.

Many adults remember very well that chocolates and cakes in childhood were only a festive treat, because parents did not always have the opportunity to pamper their child with an expensive dessert. The solution was simple - sweet sausages were prepared for everyday tea drinking, which were quite popular among children. Parents experimented, tried to make the recipe cheaper, so it often happened that they even did without milk. The recipes have been preserved to this day; many housewives who inherited family notebooks with their favorite dishes and baked goods successfully use the experience of mothers and grandmothers to prepare amazing desserts based on cookies.

Cookie and cocoa sausage recipe:

  1. Chop baked milk cookies (430 g) with a sharp knife.
  2. Mix butter (115 g), fine sugar (320 g), cocoa (60 g).
  3. Pour water (75 ml) into the chocolate mixture and place on fire.
  4. Heat the mixture and wait until the sweet crystals are completely dissolved.
  5. Remove from heat, stir, leave to cool.
  6. Beat the egg, add a little into the main mixture, be sure to mix.
  7. Pour the chocolate liquid over the cookie crumbs and stir until the cookie pieces are evenly distributed in the mixture.

Form the sausage on a flat surface, making sure to wait until it has cooled. It is more convenient to use parchment or plastic film for preparing sweets (use only cling film, household polyethylene easily releases harmful compounds into the sweet mass).

Form the dessert, give it a slightly flattened shape. Cool in the refrigerator. Some housewives use a freezer, but you will have to make sure that the mass does not freeze - this will affect the taste of the delicacy, and it will begin to crumble when defrosted. If you are using a freezing unit, check the sausages every half hour - if they start to freeze, remove them immediately.

The made sausage is decorated with coconut flakes, powdered sugar, and melted chocolate. If you use hot icing, it is recommended to put the dessert in the refrigerator for an hour and a half - the sweet chocolate coating must completely harden, otherwise you will not be able to cut the delicacy with a knife.

In order for the confectionery sausage to turn out to be the most delicious and rich, during the preparation process you should use simple tips and recommendations from culinary specialists who know very well how to carry out the process correctly. The first rule to remember is to use only fresh ingredients for sweet treats. Be sure to check the expiration date of the ingredient before purchasing. Pay special attention to dairy products. It is also recommended to carefully study the characteristics of the cookies. To prepare dessert, use only sweet pastries. If you had to buy biscuits or crackers at the store with a small percentage of sugar, take this into account when preparing - add more sweet ingredients.

Before making chocolate sausage at home, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the basic rules for each process. The first thing you need to do before making dessert is to chop the cookies. There is no point in trying too hard and turning the baked goods into a fine powder - the delicacy will not resemble sausage in any way; rather, you will end up with dark sausages. Recommended particle sizes are about 1 cm on sides.

A little secret that many housewives use when preparing a sweet dish - it is recommended to grind half of the cookies with a meat grinder, and break the other half with your hands. Thus, when cut, the delicacy will resemble a real meat product - with large and small pieces of “fat”. This will also affect the taste - the cake will be more tender. After pre-drying, it is recommended to do the same with nuts, only use a blender instead of a meat grinder. Grind some of the nuts with a rolling pin or chop them into coarse crumbs with a knife, and crush the rest into small crumbs. The taste of the dessert will immediately change.

The next stage of preparing the treat is preparing the liquid mixture. Be sure to mix the bulk products, only after that add liquid (hot cocoa-based mixture), and add in small portions. This needs to be done for one reason - it often happens that the cookie crumbs absorb the chocolate mass too actively, so the sausage turns out dry. You can increase the juiciness by adding more liquid. If the cookies are slightly damp, you will need less liquid mixture. Adding a large amount of chocolate mass will make it difficult to form sausages.

Cinnamon - an additive to chocolate sausage

To make a very tasty and aromatic sausage, it is recommended to experiment with spices. Adding vanillin and cinnamon will allow a simple dessert to acquire oriental notes, which will certainly be appreciated by guests who like Asian cuisine. Of course, such improvisation will bear little resemblance to a classic delicacy, so you shouldn’t get carried away with adding spices - everything should be in moderation.

Another useful tip that will certainly come in handy for novice housewives who are starting to prepare sweets for the first time is to be sure to carefully monitor the consistency of the mass. If it is too thin or thick, it will be very difficult to form sausages.

That is why it is recommended to add a small amount of cookies or nuts to the liquid composition, which will make the mixture more viscous. If the mass is too hard, pour in condensed milk or boiled milk, which will also quickly correct the situation.

Sweet sausage is a dessert that dates back decades, and such considerable age does not affect its popularity. Almost every family, regardless of wealth, prepares a delicious delicacy that is adored not only by children, but also by adults. Little tasters will learn how delicious a simple combination of simple products can be. Adults, with pleasure and a certain amount of sadness, plunge into the unforgettable world of childhood.

Very tasty, sweet, original dessert can be prepared without baking anything. A couple of hours before the guests arrive, you can prepare such a sweet surprise, a kind of express treat - pastry sausage.

For sweet pastry sausage we will need:

400-500 g of fresh cookies, you can also use dry cookies - such as “Maria” and “Zoological”;

150-200 g butter,

A glass of sugar (you can reduce or slightly increase the amount to taste, it will depend on the taste of the cookies),

3 tablespoons cocoa powder,

3-4 tablespoons chopped walnuts,

Plastic bag.

I crush the cookies in a mortar, or crumble them with my hands over a bowl, but do not bring the cookies to a powder state - small pieces should remain, they will imitate pieces of lard in our sweet pastry sausage. We need to somehow justify the “sausage” name of our sweetness!

In a separate bowl, grind the butter (you can warm it up a little for greater plasticity) with sugar and cocoa powder. It is necessary to achieve a homogeneous mass, into which I then pour the crushed cookies and chopped walnuts.

I mix everything well. You should get a thick chocolate-butter-cookie-nut mass. I put it on cellophane and roll it into a sausage shape. I wrap it tightly and place it in the freezer for an hour or two. During this time pastry sausage will harden and can be cut into round pieces. When cut, it will resemble a sausage.

Use this with tea, coffee, or with compote or juice. pastry sausage roll. Try it!

butter - 1 pack,

sugar - 1 glass,

This pastry sausage recipe cookies will please everyone. The chocolate dessert looks complicated, but is easy to prepare. As children, many often prepared confectionery sausage, but did not think about the calorie content and added more of everything!

Instead of pampering your loved ones with dubious sweets, it’s better to prepare them yourself pastry sausage from natural products, without any dyes or flavors. The sausage is prepared simply and quickly. Using our step by step recipe, anyone can make pastry sausage.

Preparation of pastry sausage.

To prepare pastry sausage you need to prepare all the ingredients. Cookies need to be crushed by hand or cut with a knife.

Then grind the nuts in a blender. If you don't have a blender, you can chop the nuts with a knife, but not too finely.

Next, you need to melt the butter in a saucepan or saucepan.

Then mix sugar with cocoa powder and pour into a saucepan with melted butter.

Mix everything well. Cocoa can be replaced with the same amount of melted dark chocolate.

Carefully pour the milk into the saucepan and bring the resulting mixture to a boil.

Next, add cookies to the saucepan and stir.

The butter should be soft, not from the refrigerator. Therefore, we take it out in advance or lightly melt it in the microwave.
Place the cookies in a blender and crumble briefly. It should not form a homogeneous mass; on the contrary, there should be small pieces of cookies.

This is what the cookies look like after breaking. Some are almost flour, some are crumbs.
If you are worried that your blender will grind everything into flour too quickly - 350g. Grind the cookies to this state, and finely break 150 cookies with your hands.

Add cocoa and mix.

Add butter and condensed milk. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands.

The result is a very thick consistency.

We lay out the cellophane prepared in advance on the table, put half of our mass on it, fold the film on the sides and then form the sausage of the thickness you need.
Another option is to put the mixture in a small plastic bag and form a sausage directly in the bag.

From the prepared mass I got 2 sausages like these. Place our sausage in the freezer for at least 1 hour.

We take out the finished sausage, remove the film, cut into pieces and serve with your favorite drinks or eat just like that.
Store the leftovers in the freezer in a plastic bag.
Enjoy your indulgence in Pastry Sausage!

Pastry sausage recipes

I recently posted a post here - . So I decided to make my own sausage using this recipe. I apologize for not checking it right away..... But so many people quoted it that it’s embarrassing....
In general, I decided to make it yesterday))) Before that, my husband called his mother and asked her for the recipe. It turns out that water also goes there!!! And you have to melt everything first, and then put in the cookies!!!
But I did everything according to the recipe!!! As a result, there is no shape... We eat with spoons))) Moreover, the sugar is unevenly distributed....
And I came to the conclusion - you need to melt everything first, and only then put the cookies in!!! Therefore, today I offer several of my favorite recipes (there are also ones with milk - mmm!!!).

The first one is for my mother-in-law!

1. "Sweet log."

2 tbsp. cocoa; 4 tbsp. l. water; 1 tbsp. vodka, cognac or wine, liqueur (if you wish!); 1 tbsp. sugar, 200 grams of butter - heat everything and stir.
1 raw egg, 400 grams of cookies, 200 grams of nuts (you can have marmalade). Stir, let cool and put everything in a bag.

2. Ingredients for "Confectionery sausage" from povarenok.ru.

Cookies (preferably with nuts) - 0.5 kg
Cocoa - 3 tbsp. l.
Granulated sugar - 6 tbsp. l.
Butter - 25 g
Water - 400 ml

Finely break the cookies; if the cookies are ordinary, then it is better to add nuts.
Making fudge. You can cook it with milk, but I cook it with water. I use 2 times less cocoa than sugar. Pour boiling water over it and add a piece of butter.
The main thing is not to let it come to a boil, otherwise it will run away.
The fudge turns out liquid, you can add less water, the softness of the sausage depends on this (my husband likes it soft). Let it cool a little and mix with cookies.
Wrap the sausage in parchment or tracing paper. Place in the refrigerator overnight. And in the morning you can already eat.

3. Sausage with condensed milk.

* butter cookies - 700 g
* condensed milk with sugar - 350 g
* butter - 200 g
* green and yellow marmalade - 200 g
1. Leave the butter for 1 hour at room temperature, then beat, gradually adding condensed milk.
2. Pass the cookies through a meat grinder.
3. Finely chop the marmalade.
5. Mix the cookies with the prepared cream, add marmalade, wrap the mixture in parchment, giving the product an elongated shape.
6. Keep the roll in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours
8. Before serving, cut into slices and place on a plate.
9. Now you can serve tea, preferably not sweet, because... There is more than enough sugar in the sausage.

4.
* 400 g cookies
* 200 g walnuts
* 1.5 tablespoons sugar
* 2 tablespoons cocoa
* 6 tablespoons milk
* 200 g butter
1. Grind (but not too much) nuts and cookies. It’s better to take “aged” cookies so that they don’t crumble into mush.
2. Make hot chocolate from milk, sugar and cocoa. When it boils, add oil there.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil and add nuts and cookies.
4. Let it cool, but not too much, otherwise the butter will separate, and it will be difficult to form a “sausage”, and pieces of butter in it are also not good :)
5. Place on film, wrap tightly and put in the freezer for half an hour.
6. Store in the freezer too.

5.
500g cookies, 1 tbsp. l. milk, 300g nuts, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp.
l. cocoa, 300g butter.
Bring milk and sugar to a boil, add cocoa and butter.
Pass the cookies and nuts through a meat grinder, mix everything,
Wrap it in cellophane in the shape of a sausage and place it in the refrigerator.

6. "Sausage"
-200 grams of butter, 1 glass of sand, 3 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 egg, cookies, such as "Jubilee" -200 grams. Heat the oil, add sand + cocoa. Once it cools down a little, beat in one egg. Mix everything. Then add finely broken cookies. Mix everything. Place on cellophane in the shape of a sausage and put in the freezer.

7. Confectionery chocolate sausage.

Ingredients:
300-400 g - the most ordinary shortbread cookies
200 g – butter
1 cup sugar (less to taste)
3 tbsp. spoons – cocoa (or chocolate)
0.5 cups – milk
1 cup – walnuts, raisins, candied fruits, dried apricots (to taste)
condensed milk - you can add it if you have it

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, add milk, sugar, cocoa (pre-melted chocolate) and cook for 1 minute. Then add crumbled cookies, nuts (raisins, candied fruits, dried apricots). Mix everything, place the mixture on foil (cling film) and wrap it into a sausage shape. Then place the resulting cubes in the freezer for a couple of hours.

In general, the recipe leaves room for imagination, because... It works on the residual principle - whatever is left in the house or what you want, you put into a delicacy (naturally, I mean products that are similar in taste).

Bon appetit!

If you need to quickly prepare a dessert and don’t want to bother with baking, chocolate sausage is the best option. The taste of this delicacy is familiar to each of us since childhood, and these days it has not lost its popularity.

To make chocolate sausage delicious, you need to choose the right ingredients. This dish can be prepared using cocoa or chocolate.

  • In the first case, you should choose a powder without any additives. The usual, “Soviet” version is best suited.
  • Chocolate should be bitter and, if possible, it is better to buy it by weight.
  • Now about the cookies. It should be crumbly and not contain any additives, such as coconut flakes, chocolate chips and other things. The ideal option is Baked Milk cookies.

This delicacy can be prepared in various ways, but the classic recipe is considered to be the one according to which sausage was originally made from cookies.

For cooking you will need:

  • 180 g butter;
  • 420-450 g cookies;
  • 170-200 g sugar;
  • 120 g dark chocolate.

Operating procedure:

  1. First you need to crush the cookies. You can simply break it into small pieces with your hands, or use a rolling pin, meat grinder or blender.
  2. Cut the butter and chocolate into pieces, place in a bowl with thick walls and melt over low heat, gradually adding sugar.
  3. Pour the sweet mixture over the cookie crumbs and mix thoroughly. Then form sausages, wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator.

Attention! You need to keep the sweet butter-chocolate mixture on the stove until the sugar is completely dissolved, otherwise the finished sausage will “creak” on your teeth.

You can make this process easier by using a mixer to turn the sand into powder, and only then add it to the chocolate and butter.

Chocolate sausage made from cookies with cocoa

When preparing this dessert, many housewives use cocoa powder rather than dark chocolate. And this does not spoil the taste of the sausage at all.

  • 500 g cookies;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 180 g sugar;
  • 30-40 g cocoa powder;
  • 50 ml milk;
  • egg.

Preparation procedure:

  1. Grind the cookies until crumbly.
  2. Cut the butter into pieces and melt on the stove, then add the sugar and, stirring constantly, wait until it is completely dissolved.
  3. Pour cocoa into a saucepan, pour in milk, stir the mixture until smooth and remove from the stove.
  4. Pour the glaze into the cookie crumbs and mix, then add the egg and bring the mixture until smooth.
  5. Form sausages into the desired size, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator.

Attention! You can add an egg to the sausage only after the chocolate glaze has cooled a little, otherwise under the influence of high temperature it will curl and turn into unappetizing “flakes”.

How to make a treat with condensed milk

You can make this dessert without milk. Chocolate sausage made from cookies with condensed milk will certainly be no less tasty.

For cooking you will need:

  • can of condensed milk;
  • 420-450 g crumbly cookies;
  • 170-180 g butter;
  • 50-70 g cocoa powder or chocolate.

Procedure:

  1. Grind the cookies, add condensed milk and stir until smooth.
  2. Cut the butter into pieces and melt on the stove, then add cocoa powder. If chocolate is used, add it immediately.
  3. Pour the hot liquid over the liver and condensed milk, stir, roll into sausages and refrigerate.

To make the taste of chocolate sausage made from cookies with condensed milk more rich, you can add chopped walnuts or hazelnuts to the composition.

Cooking from cookies with milk and candied fruits

Candied fruits will be an excellent addition to the main components of chocolate sausage. You can choose any of this components, depending on your own taste.

For cooking you will need:

  • 480-500 g cookies;
  • 250 ml milk;
  • 110 g sugar;
  • 50-70 g butter;
  • 50-60 g cocoa;
  • 120-150 g candied fruits.

Work process:

  1. Grind the cookies and candied fruits, mix until smooth.
  2. Heat milk and sugar on the stove, add butter, and when the mixture melts, add cocoa and stir.
  3. Pour the liquid into the cookies and candied fruits, stir with a spatula, and when the mass has cooled slightly, form into portions. Wrap the finished dessert in film and refrigerate.

Advice. You can make a beautiful chocolate sausage by using marmalade of different colors instead of candied fruits. Children will definitely love this delicacy.

Sausage with nuts

For this dessert you can use chopped walnuts or hazelnuts. Some housewives prefer to put peanuts.

During the work you will need:

  • 400 g cookies;
  • 150 g nuts;
  • 120 g sugar;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 50-80 g cream;
  • cocoa powder.

Sequencing:

  1. Grind the cookies and nut kernels and mix in a deep bowl.
  2. Put butter in a saucepan, pour in cream, add sugar and heat on the stove until the latter dissolves.
  3. Add cocoa to the mixture, mix, and then pour it over the nut cookies.
  4. Form sausages, wrap in film and refrigerate.

Chocolate sausage with nuts will be ready to eat in 2-3 hours.

Dessert with chocolate and dried fruits

To create this delicacy, you can take raisins, prunes or dried apricots, but the taste of the dish will be brighter if you make an assortment of dried fruits.

To work you will need:

  • 350 g cookies;
  • 200 g dried fruits;
  • can of condensed milk;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 50 g cocoa powder.

Procedure:

  1. Grind the cookies and add dried fruits to it. To make the dish more uniform, you can pass dried apricots and prunes through a meat grinder.
  2. Add condensed milk to the mixture and stir until smooth.
  3. Melt the butter on the stove, add cocoa powder, and then pour this mixture over the prepared ingredients.

Mix the mixture until smooth, form into portions and store in the refrigerator.

On a note. A chocolate sausage will turn out unusual if you replace the cookies with puffed rice.

Biscuit crumb treat

After preparing any biscuit dessert, “waste” of baked dough often remains. In this case, you can use them to create sausages or purchase special cakes.

To work you will need:

  • 500 g biscuit;
  • 180-200 g butter;
  • 150 ml milk;
  • 120 g of any nuts;
  • 120 g dark chocolate.

Procedure:

  1. Grind the biscuit and nuts, place the ingredients in a deep bowl.
  2. Boil milk and melt butter and chocolate in it.
  3. Pour the resulting mixture into the nuts and biscuit, mix and make sausages.

Advice. To give the biscuit additional softness, you can add 30-40 grams of cognac or rum to the sausage.

But this is only permissible when the delicacy is prepared for adults.

Original dessert with pistachios

When you want to prepare an original dessert from available products, you should use this recipe.

For cooking you will need:

  • 450-480 g cookies;
  • 120 g pistachios;
  • 120 g sugar;
  • 180 g butter;
  • 120 g dark chocolate;
  • sesame seeds.

Cooking process:

  1. Crumble the cookies, crush the pistachios and pour the mixture into a bowl.
  2. Melt a mixture of butter, dark chocolate and sugar on the stove and pour into the prepared ingredients.
  3. Stir the mass, form sausages, sprinkle them with sesame seeds, spread them on polyethylene and refrigerate.

To decorate the dessert, you can use multi-colored coconut flakes rather than sesame seeds.

How to make chocolate sausage without butter

Butter, which is part of chocolate sausage, cannot be classified as a light product. Some housewives try to reduce the level of fat in the dish and use margarine. But there is another way, namely, using condensed milk instead of butter.

If it was not possible to purchase it boiled, you can make it yourself.

  • It will take at least an hour and a half to prepare this component.
  • Moreover, you will have to make sure that the jar is constantly covered with water, and add liquid if necessary, because otherwise it will simply burst.
  • And after cooking, you will need to place the jar in a container with cold water so that the contents cool faster.

So, to make this dessert without oil, you will need the following products:

  • 400 g cookies;
  • a can of boiled condensed milk;
  • 150 g dark chocolate;
  • 50 g almonds.

Cooking procedure:

  1. Open the can of condensed milk and place the contents in a bowl.
  2. Grind cookies and nuts, mix with “varenka”.
  3. Divide the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a water bath.
  4. Combine all the prepared ingredients, mix thoroughly and form into portions, and then place them in a cool place, wrapped in cling film.

On a note. If you don’t want to waste time preparing chocolate, you can take condensed milk with the addition of cocoa or coffee.

But what to do if you want to enjoy a delicious chocolate sausage? In this case, you should try a low-calorie dessert based on low-fat yogurt and dark chocolate.

To create the dish you will need:

  • 250-300 g cookies;
  • 50 g sugar (cane sugar is better);
  • 350-400 ml yogurt 0%;
  • 100 g natural chocolate.

Operating procedure:

  1. Divide the cookies into two parts. Break the first one with your hands, and grind the second one into crumbs. This is done so that the sausage acquires the desired consistency.
  2. Using a fine grater, process the chocolate into shavings.
  3. Pour the yogurt into the blender bowl, add sugar, add chopped chocolate and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the cookies and mix thoroughly.
  5. Form into sausages and refrigerate.

To make the work process easier and not bother with a grater, you can use cocoa powder instead of natural chocolate.

Almost everyone had chocolate sausage as one of their childhood sweets. In Soviet times, confectionery products were rare and very expensive. Therefore, housewives found a way out of the situation by inventing sweet delights “out of nothing.” And chocolate sausage with cookies is no exception - it cooks very quickly, and as a result we get a delicious dessert for tea.

According to the classic recipe, for this dessert product you will need a very small and penny set of products. The time required for preparation is no more than fifteen minutes.

Products for making chocolate treats:

  • 400 g cookies
  • 100 g soft butter
  • 3 tbsp Nesquik cocoa or its equivalent
  • ½ glass of milk
  • ½ cup sugar

Cooking process:

  1. Combine milk, sugar and cocoa in one container. It is best to take an enameled container.
  2. Heat the contents of the container on the stove, adding oil. The butter should melt. Stir the mixture periodically until it becomes homogeneous. Remove after it boils.
  3. Lightly break the cookies and add to the preparation. Mix well. After this, the prepared mixture will become thick and you can begin to form the sausage. The almost finished product remains to be wrapped in baking parchment or foil and placed in the refrigerator so that the sausage hardens. Usually 1.5-2 hours is enough, after which dessert can be served.

Before serving, sweet sausage made from cookies is cut into rings 1-1.5 cm thick and laid out on a saucer.

On a note. Cookies for cooking can be taken “Maria”, “Bird’s milk” or something similar.

Chocolate sausage made from cookies with cocoa - tastes like childhood

In the distant 80-90s, this dessert was prepared using simple cocoa powder, and to imitate lard, as in real sausage, walnuts or large pieces of shortcrust pastry were used.

To prepare you will need:

  • 500 g Jubilee cookies
  • 200 g butter
  • 250 g cocoa powder
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 100 grams of granulated sugar, more is possible (depend on taste).

How to cook:

  1. Mix all ingredients and form sausages.
  2. Wrap the sausages in cling film or parchment.
  3. Leave in the freezer for 30-45 minutes.

The amount of ingredients may vary, so you need to focus on the thickness of the resulting mass - it should hold its shape sufficiently, not crumble or spread.

Even school-age novice cooks can prepare such a delicacy, because the recipe is extremely simple and can be prepared in a matter of minutes.

The length and thickness of a chocolate sausage has no standards - everyone shapes the product in the way that suits them best. You can also experiment with the shape - round, square or ring.

With condensed milk and nuts

Nuts go well with chocolate. We suggest using real chocolate instead of cocoa in this recipe and adding walnuts.

Ingredients:

  • 400-600 g shortbread cookies
  • 150 g sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • 300 g walnut kernels or roasted peanuts
  • 1-2 bars of dark chocolate (if you want a very chocolate sausage, take more, and vice versa)
  • 200 grams of butter.

Preparing dessert:

  1. It is better to take small sugar so that it dissolves quickly. Add it to the milk and put it on fire. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Then turn it off.
  2. Break the chocolate bars and add them to the milk. Cover the container with a lid and leave. The chocolate should be completely dissolved in the hot liquid.
  3. If walnuts are used, they can be lightly chopped, but large pieces should remain - they will imitate pieces of lard from real sausage.
  4. Chop the cookies well, add butter and mash thoroughly with a fork until smooth. Then add the chocolate-milk mixture and nuts, mix again and roll into sausages.

If desired, before serving, roll the chocolate cookie sausage in powdered sugar and then cut into small slices. Powdered sugar can be bought ready-made or prepared using a coffee grinder from regular sugar.

On a note. You can add chopped marshmallows and candied fruits to the dessert. In the case of candied fruits, the sausage will turn out not only sweet, but also multi-colored, which will undoubtedly delight little sweet tooths.

With added bananas

This recipe was invented by modern housewives, based on the classic recipe for chocolate sausage made from cookies and cocoa. Using the same principle, you can make not only sausage, but also prepare a cake, without using a stove. The only difference is in the final stage - sweet sausages from cookies are formed by hand, while for the cake the mass is poured into a mold.

Ingredients for Banana Sausage:

  • 300 g butter
  • 300 g shortbread cookies
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ⅓ tsp fine salt
  • 3 tbsp instant cocoa
  • 1 tsp each cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla sugar (can be replaced with 1 bag of vanilla)
  • 2 tbsp cognac or liqueur
  • 200 g walnut kernels
  • 200 g prunes
  • 1 large banana.

Step-by-step preparation of dessert:

  1. Peel the banana, cut its fruit and prunes into fairly large pieces so that the fruit is visible in the cut of the finished sausage.
  2. Lightly break the cookies, sprinkle with cognac or liqueur, combine with nuts, prunes and spices.
  3. Sugar is mixed with cocoa.
  4. Beat the soft butter with the cocoa-sugar mixture, add salt and, if desired, vanilla.
  5. Mix cookies, banana pieces and whipped cream.
  6. The mixture can be placed in a silicone or extendable pie pan to form a cake, or formed into sausages. To quickly harden, the dish is placed in the freezer.

The finished product can be decorated with candied fruits, jelly figures, and powdered sugar. Convenience of preparing dessert - there is no need for baking, the process is easy and quick.

On a note. If you use cocoa powder, the product will not be as pleasant and light in taste and will leave a residue in your mouth after eating. More expensive well-known brands make cocoa completely soluble. These types of products will have a better effect on the taste of the dessert.

Creamy biscuit sausage with condensed milk

To prepare this dessert recipe, you don't even need to use a stove, which makes the process even easier and faster.

Ingredients for creamy sausage:

  • 300 g cookies
  • 200 g softened butter
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1-2 vanilla bags

The preparation of the dessert is very simple: slightly broken cookies are combined with soft butter, condensed milk and vanilla. The ingredients are kneaded with a fork, then an oblong sausage is formed from the mass and wrapped in foil. To harden, place it in the refrigerator for 1-1.5 hours; if you need it faster, use the freezer.

One of the more modern dessert options suggests using toffee. Any type of toffee is suitable: loose, in bars or packages. Be careful: the sausage is very sweet!

To prepare the dessert you need the following ingredients:

  • 200 g toffee
  • 50 g butter
  • 400 g cookies
  • 120 g sugar
  • 120 ml milk

Preparation proceeds as follows:

  1. Place the toffee in an enamel container and pour in the milk, cook over medium heat until the toffee has dissolved. During heating, you need to stir constantly so that the melted product is thoroughly mixed with the milk.
  2. Add sugar and butter to the mixture, mix well and let cool slightly.
  3. Break the cookies and add to the liquid mixture. When the temperature of the mass is no longer hot, you can begin to form the sausages.

You cannot cool the mass for a long time, otherwise it will begin to harden and ultimately you will not be able to form sausages. If the mass has cooled down too much, you need to warm it up a little.

The undoubted advantage of this dish is its excellent shelf life - chocolate sausages can be stored in the freezer for quite a long time, taken out at any time and served with tea or cocoa with milk.
