Baked potatoes, or rather, mashed potato rolls with stuffing you can cook on weekdays. But when you arrange this dish in an appropriate way, it will already be festive. After all, in a few days the New Year will come. That's all, yes, when you can cook something new.

How to make mashed potato roll

Ingredients (the amount depends on how many people you are preparing the dish for):

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Carrot
  • Fresh white cabbage
  • Bulb onions
  • Olive oil
  • - A little
  • Salt - to taste
  • Spices
  • Hard cheese without rennet

Output of one roll: 210 - 230g

My cooking method:

1. Cooking mashed potatoes useful way(read attentively!):

  • Boil the potatoes in their skins, cool slightly and peel them from the skin
  • Pour boiling milk, salt, add a little ghee and cook for 10 minutes
  • Puree with a blender or puree press, cool slightly

2. While the potatoes are cooking, we prepare the filling for the holiday rolls, which can be varied:

  • We grind the peeled carrots in a blender, we do the same with cabbage
  • Onion chop
  • Stew prepared vegetables together with spices in heated olive oil until almost cooked, salt

3. We distribute the not completely cooled mashed potatoes over the cling film and put the finished filling on it ( don't forget to leave some puree for decoration)

5. Divide it into several rolls and put them in a mold lightly oiled with ghee

6. The remaining puree must be beaten again in a blender until a creamy homogeneous consistency, which we fill the cornet or a bag with a nozzle (it is possible without a nozzle)

7. Beautifully decorate the rolls on top, like cream

8. Fill the middle of each roll with grated cheese and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown

  • 0.5 kg of minced meat;
  • 6-7 potatoes;
  • 100 ml of mayonnaise;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 3 art. l. sifted flour;
  • 100 g of hard cheese;
  • salt;
  • refined vegetable oil;
  • ground pepper.

Cooking:

  1. Boil the potatoes in advance on the stove and mash them.
  2. Lubricate the multi-bowl with vegetable oil and spread the first layer evenly with mashed potatoes.
  3. Peel and chop the onion.
  4. Fry the onion with minced meat in vegetable oil until a beautiful brown color. Salt lightly.
  5. Lay the minced meat on top of the potato layer.
  6. Let's prepare the sauce. Combine eggs with sifted flour and mayonnaise. Beat the sauce until smooth, salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the sauce into a mixing bowl.
  8. Grind the cheese on a grater and sprinkle it on top of our casserole.
  9. Set the option "Baking" and cook the dish for an hour.
  10. Before serving, you can pour it with sour cream.

Peel potatoes, chop coarsely, place in a saucepan, add water and put on fire. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (ready potatoes will be easily pierced with a fork or knife).

Drain the water from the cooked potatoes and add the starch.

Using a potato masher, mash potatoes. Puree will not be runny.

To prepare the filling, finely chop the peeled onion and fry in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil over medium heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

Then add minced meat and fry it together with onion over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, breaking up lumps of meat.

Peeled carrots, grated on a fine grater, put in a pan with minced meat, lightly fry, stirring occasionally.

Add sliced ​​mushrooms to the pan and simmer the filling over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Salt and pepper the filling, add semolina, mix well, remove from heat and let cool.

Put the stuffing on a rectangular layer of potatoes and smooth it out.

I decided to decorate the roll with mashed potato roses. To do this, in the puree, which was set aside to decorate the roll, you need to add mayonnaise and mix well.

Put the mixture of mashed potatoes and mayonnaise in a pastry bag with a curly nozzle.

Plant the roses on the potato roll. Put the roll in a preheated oven and bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. During this time, the roll will brown.
