  • 4 medium carrots;
  • 2 heads (not cloves) of garlic;
  • 1 liter of water;
  • 1 st. a spoonful of 9% table vinegar;
  • 1 glass of sunflower oil;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 3.5 st. spoons of salt;
  • 0.5 teaspoon of chili pepper (or just hot red pepper);
  • 3 bay leaves.

Cooking time: about 30 minutes plus marinating time.
