What programs are in the multicooker? Independent multicooker: how many automatic programs are optimal.

Customer Reviews

I ordered an Eco bowl 5.0 l. I didn’t think that saucepans of proper quality would come for such a price: solid, thick, neatly made. The pans fit both of my multicookers: Redmond RMC M90 and Polaris PMC 0517AD. They sit like a glove. It's been a month since I abandoned my own pot, which, no matter how carefully I handled it with a SILICONE ladle, about six months later fell into disrepair. Suspecting that this is due to the fact that we often cook baked milk in a saucepan on the multi-cook program for 5 hours, and also leave the porridge on the stove so that they taste like baked milk. Yes, and you have to cook other dishes in a slow cooker every day. An aluminum pan is just a lifesaver. Prepared a HOT DISH - took the bowl IMMEDIATELY TO COLD to cool, poured, etc. I also want to note that the bowl washes just as well as a new ceramic one, and at the same time I am not afraid to rub its bottom, if necessary, with a sponge, but this cannot be done with a ceramic bowl. I am very satisfied! Nice to deal with professionals!

Last week I received an Anthracite bowl for my Panasonic-181 with a capacity of 4.5 liters. Fit perfectly. The test passed with a bang. It cooks very well, no worse than native, and maybe even tastier somewhere. I am very pleased. Special thanks to Alexey, who contacted me by phone and consulted, and then accepted the order. The parcel arrived very well. Well done to the employees who pack the products so well, because. the post office is not very ceremonious with parcels. I wish prosperity to your company. Huge-huge THANKS to you. God bless you!

Thank you very much for the bowls!
I bought Eco 4+ l for the Philips HD 2173 pressure cooker. It fit perfectly! The lid fits perfectly and now I'm not afraid to scratch the Teflon coating. I cook beef on the bone without fear, I will also cook New Year's jelly in it. Very satisfied.

I took the second bowl for the Lentel KF A40 multicooker, I chose the Classic 4 l.
I doubted very much whether she would fit the cartoon, because. I couldn’t measure my native cup in any way, I was afraid that it wouldn’t fit. But everything went great! The lid closes tightly, the bowl enters.
The coating is black inside, at first it didn’t inspire confidence for some reason, it scared me that it was rough. But everything turned out great. It is 100% non-stick. I fried chicken with mushrooms in it, nothing burned, the bowl was easily washed.

I express my gratitude to the consultant of the store Alexey for help in choosing and prompt dispatch. The bowls are packed securely, arrived in the best possible condition.

Today I received the bowl "Eco" 4l. for the "Maruchi 47" multicooker and immediately tested it as it should be according to the recommendation. The bowl fits perfectly, is beautifully made and of high quality. Delivered by post in good packaging on time. Thank you so much and prosperity in such a necessary production!

Received the package, thank you very much!
I ordered two bowls: Eco and Kerama. I was pleased with the packaging, the bowls arrived in the best possible way, a special thank you!
I bought in a sense at my own peril and risk, my Vitesse VS-576 multicooker model was not in the bowl correspondence table, I chose it by size.
As a result, 4-liter bowls turned out to be what we needed! The bowl fits into the multicooker like a native, the lid closes, no problems.
In appearance, the NEC bowl looks better than the native one, with a heavier bottom and generally looks somehow more solid. I am very satisfied, thank you very much!
You can safely enter the VS-576 model in the compatibility table.

I ordered 5 liters. multicooker bowl Unit 1050D. The difference is immediately visible. The native bowl turned out to be much worse, it even sometimes burned in it if it was stewed or fried for a long time. In the new bowl, nothing burns, the coating is excellent! At first I wanted to be upset that the bowl turned out to be a little larger, since the slow cooker did not want to close, but I pressed a little harder and everything fell into place. Now I cook even more! For which many thanks!

Multicook in a multicooker, what is it? New useful feature? Admission marketers to attract buyers? Or another way to increase the cost of multicookers? It is quite difficult to determine the usefulness of a particular function and additional features of household appliances. Why? It is impossible to say unequivocally that one function is definitely useful, and another will never be needed by anyone, because users have different needs and what will be convenient, interesting to one may not suit another at all. Focusing on all consumer groups, manufacturers produce household appliances with the set of functions that are likely to be used by the majority. And for those who have a need for additional functionality, devices with advanced features are being created.

A multicooker is a universal device that combines the functions of several household appliances. This is an excellent solution that facilitates the daily cooking process, especially for people who have limited time due to work. The versatility of the multicooker gives its owners the opportunity to get a varied menu for every day. The set of models and functions of the device allows to satisfy taste of any consumer. Each model is characterized by a certain set of programs that the multicooker can perform. Some programs are basic, they are installed on all types of multicookers, while others are installed as additional features of a particular model. The basic list of cooking modes includes:

  • extinguishing program;
  • steam cooking mode;
  • the so-called "Soup / Pilaf" mode;
  • program "Milk porridge / Cereals";
  • mode "Frying";
  • program "Baking / Bread".

These modes may differ in name from different manufacturers, but they perform the same functions. For example, the “Milk porridge / Cereals” mode may be called “Buckwheat”, but in fact, this mode is intended for cooking dishes, side dishes from various cereals. The "Extinguishing" program can be presented as "Jolodets", but this will not mean that this mode can only be used for preparing jelly. It is also used to stew vegetables, meat, fish.

Multicook: description and purpose

Additional features of the appliance usually include the function of a yogurt maker, deep-frying and many other programs. Recently, multicookers with the multicook or master chef function have become widespread. Models such as Redmond M70 and M90, Panasonic MHS181 are especially popular, there is this function in the Polaris multicooker model 0517.

This function raises many questions among fans of multicookers and those who decide to purchase the device for the first time.

For information: multi-cook is an additional feature of the device that allows the user to create individual programs for cooking.

What does multicook mean in a multicooker, how does it work? This mode is responsible for manually setting the cooking program by setting the required time, temperature for a particular dish.

Different manufacturers or different models have different minimum and maximum temperatures and times. For the convenience of the user, a special temperature and time range with a certain step is set. The temperature scale usually has a range from 35 degrees to 180. By the principle of operation, a multicooker with a multicooker from one manufacturer is practically no different from a model with this function from another manufacturer.

Instructions for using the multicook

The cooking algorithm with this mode is as follows:

  1. Prepare products.
  2. Load all ingredients into a bowl.
  3. Activate the multi-cook mode by pressing the button on the control panel.
  4. Choose an action: cooking, frying, stewing, or any of the basic modes.
  5. Set the desired temperature and cooking time.
  6. Start the cooking process with the "Start" button.

It is not difficult to choose the cooking time for a particular product, but what about determining the desired temperature? You can search for information on numerous sites with recipes for multicookers. Or use the temperature table for various dishes, which is provided by Redmond, one of the leaders in the kitchen appliances market. Briefly presenting the data from the table, it will look like the one shown below.

35 to 45 degrees:

  • yogurt;
  • sour cream;
  • proofing test.

50 to 65:

  • maintaining the fermentation process;
  • melting chocolate, making fudge;
  • baby food;
  • cooking meat products in vacuum packaging.

70 to 85:

  • punch, mulled wine, tea;
  • pasteurization;
  • cottage cheese.

90 to 105:

  • milk porridge;
  • jams, jams, meringues;
  • aspic.

From 110 to 125:

  • sterilization;
  • syrup preparation;
  • extinguishing.

From 130 to 145:

  • casseroles;
  • smoking;
  • baking fish and vegetables;

from 150 to 170:

  • baked meat;
  • bakery;
  • frying.

For whom is Multicook suitable?

What is this function for, in which everything needs to be configured manually, to look for temperature information for different products? If a user buys a slow cooker just to load the ingredients into the bowl and forget about them until the dish is fully cooked, this feature will not be appreciated. Automatic programs that are installed on the device cope with a large number of recipes and make it possible to cook a lot of delicious dishes. Multicook is more suitable for those who like to create or experiment. Such a multicooker is suitable for preparing more complex dishes that need to be prepared in several stages. It can be stewing or languishing a certain meat dish. Or cooking cereals that will not have time to cook when using an automatic program with a set time.

Outcome

Summing up, we can say that the multi-cook is a useful function that allows you to adjust the time and temperature of cooking a dish. It expands the capabilities of the appliance, which is especially valuable for those whose kitchen dimensions do not allow them to buy an air grill, oven, deep fryer, fondue pot and other kitchen appliances that the market is saturated with.

It is perhaps difficult to imagine any modern kitchen without such a miracle of household appliances as a device for preparing culinary masterpieces - a slow cooker, or a pressure cooker. This kitchen assistant can create almost any tasty and nutritious dish through any kind of heat treatment. Typically, multicookers from well-known companies are equipped with several modes of operation, due to which the cooking process becomes more economical in terms of time and effort expended, which greatly facilitates the work of any housewife, and therefore a high-quality multicooker can be safely purchased as a gift. The main thing is not to get confused in front of the widest range of these household appliances offered by various manufacturers, and choose the one that is right for you.

How to choose a multicooker?

To choose the right multicooker, you need to pay attention to the following criteria: the volume and quality of the bowl cover, power, functionality and modes of operation, as well as the body material (metal is much more durable than plastic, and aluminum alloy should be preferred) and safety (the device must have a long cord , securely fastened to the body, a smooth steam release system and a tight valve).

Multicooker bowl volume

The volumes of multicookers offered by manufacturers range from 2 to 6 liters, but the optimal volume for an average family of four is 3-4 liters. Large devices are more expensive and consume more electricity, so buying a larger device is only advisable if you like to receive guests often or you have a large family.

Multicooker bowl cover

There are the following types of coatings:
  • teflon. Like non-stick pans, multicookers with a similar coating need to be handled with care, because damaged Teflon is unsafe for health;
  • ceramic. It is more environmentally friendly than Teflon, but wears out faster, can suffer from temperature changes and become stained from fruit or vegetable juice, etc .;
  • marble. This is the most preferred coating option - the most durable, practical and safe.

Multicooker power

It directly affects the speed of cooking. The average power of a standard multicooker model is 600–800 watts. Economically, this is a completely justified figure, if we are talking about a small family. A more powerful appliance, of course, will cook dishes faster, but it will also cost more and cost more during operation.

Multicooker functions

Different models of appliances from different manufacturers may have different sets of functions, but the point of having them all in one is to save time and simplify the process of cooking.

If you have planned the preparation of some special delicacy for the festive table, the option to set the operating mode and the timer will help you with this. The timer is also necessary if delayed cooking is required (up to 12 hours). No careful control is required during the operation of the multicooker: the smart device will cook everything by itself and even automatically switch to the mode of automatically maintaining a certain temperature of the finished dish.

It is good if the device is equipped with an automatic steam release function: this stabilizes the pressure inside it, which means it makes it safer to use.

Those who like to cook dishes, for example, from beans and peas, should pay attention to multicookers with a soaking function. “For an amateur” such a function as baking with a crispy crust is also designed. For those who are accustomed to combine a lot of things at once and cannot constantly be in the kitchen, the auto-off function and the sound signal at the end of cooking will be useful. Someone may need a countdown function before a meal. In general, when choosing the functions of the device, one should not be guided by the rule “the more the better”. After all, you will most likely use such opportunities as cooking yogurt, aspic, grilling or smoking very rarely, and you will definitely pay the manufacturer money for additional "chips".

As for the operating modes, as a rule, there are 6–7 of them in a standard multicooker, but in some models there can be up to 10. The following modes are most often used:

  • "buckwheat" - side dishes from all types of cereals and legumes are prepared on it;
  • “stewing” - useful for preparing multi-component dishes from meat, vegetables, etc .;
  • "baking" - in this mode, you can cook pies, muffins, pizza, bake meat in a piece or chopped;
  • "milk porridge" - allows you to cook viscous cereals;
  • "pilaf" - in it you can cook various dishes from rice, potatoes, pasta;
  • "cooking in own juice and steam";
  • "cooking broths and soups";
  • "warming up" - makes it possible to automatically heat up food and maintain the desired temperature for a long time.

What can be cooked in a slow cooker

The slow cooker will perfectly prepare a non-viscous porridge from any cereal: buckwheat, rice, pearl barley, millet, etc. Thick soups, dumplings, spaghetti, fragrant pilaf, vegetable dishes, meat and fish in their own juice are also excellent. The pressure cooker makes it easy to bake a holiday pie, muffin, pudding or casserole. People who need special dietary nutrition, as well as all those who prefer healthy food, simply cannot do without this device, because the multicooker ensures almost one hundred percent preservation of all micronutrients during the heat treatment of products.

The table contains all the currently existing multicooker programs, indicates what dishes they are intended for, whether it is possible to replace the programs with one another, examples of multicookers with these programs are given. You can also see which multicookers have the programs you are interested in on the page all about multicookers.

Multicooker programs are divided into several blocks

  • basic programs, without which modern multicookers are unimaginable. Therefore, examples of multicookers are not given for such programs.
  • Special multi-chef and multi-cook programs(
  • Programs that expand the standard features of the multicooker, turning it into an even more versatile instrument
  • Additional programs, which appeared in multicookers later than the basic ones, are a kind of basic programs. They increase the convenience of using the multicooker and the quality of cooking. For example, the soup program is better suited for preparing soups and broths than the stew program used previously for this purpose.
  • And finally there are programs tailored to specific dishes. You should pay attention to them when choosing a multicooker if you want to cook this particular dish often.

The temperatures in the table are based on the data that Polaris provides on its website, since other manufacturers in the vast majority of cases do not indicate temperatures for the main programs.

Your repost will change the Internet :)

Is it possible to spend a minimum of time in the kitchen and still eat healthy food? With a slow cooker, you can do everything: boil and fry, stew and bake, cook milk porridges and cottage cheese puddings. At the same time, lay all the products in the evening, and in the morning enjoy a hot, freshly prepared breakfast.

Now you will learn how to get the best price-quality ratio without overpaying for the brand and unnecessary features.

Principle of operation

This is a device consisting of a body with a heating element and a replaceable bowl with a non-stick coating, in which food is cooked. The lid closes hermetically due to the presence of a special rubber seal, steam escapes through a special valve.

The multicooker cooks thanks to the heating elements that evenly heat the bowl. Cooking takes less time, while the quality and useful properties of the products are preserved. This makes life much easier for all housewives.

Management is usually touch, and control over pressure and temperature is due to the built-in microprocessor.

Advantages

  1. The cooking process does not produce trans fats like a regular frying pan.
  2. Cooked food prevents the development of atherosclerosis.
  3. During cooking, acrolein is not formed, which is released during frying and damages the intestinal mucosa.
  4. Cooked food is lower in calories and promotes weight loss.
  5. Preserves all vitamins and nutrients in food.
  6. The cooking process takes less time.

Kinds

Air grill or multicooker, what to choose? And which company to choose? We will try to find answers to all these questions now.

Depending on the principle of work, there are:

  • multicookers (work without pressure)

We can say that this is an improved version of a porridge or rice cooker, in which you can not only cook porridge, but also fry, bake, stew and steam.

Advantages:

  1. In the process of cooking, you can open the lid, add water, mix. At the same time, even a child can open the lid.
  2. All products are heated evenly, salt and spices are required much less.
  3. Cooking does not require your presence, at the end of the cooking time, the device will turn itself off and go into the keep warm mode. The food in it does not burn, thanks to the "Delayed start" function, dinner can be ready right at your arrival.
  4. When cooking, the amount of oil and fat is minimal.
  5. Dishes are juicy and rich, like from a Russian stove.
  6. The smell of cooking dishes is not as strong as when cooking on the stove.
  7. Compared to an electric stove, it consumes less energy, takes up less space and can easily replace an oven.
  8. It is indispensable in the country or in the hostel, it will greatly facilitate the life of young mothers and bachelors.
  9. Even a child is capable of laying a warm dinner on his plate.

Flaws:

  1. Soups and some other dishes take longer to cook than on the stove.
  2. The included bowl has a weak Teflon coating that is easy to scratch. It is quite difficult to find an additional bowl, and it is not cheap.
  3. It is advisable to store cooked food in another container.
  4. There is no automatic mixing function.
  5. Condensation accumulates under the cover.
  6. Only one dish can be cooked at a time.
  7. Steaming is not always convenient due to the small volume of the steaming container.
  8. The crust on the pie is formed only from the bottom.
  9. Many stoves make quite loud sounds when turned off, which cannot be turned off.
  • multicookers-pressure cookers (work under pressure)

We can say that this is an improved version of the multicooker, which allows you to cook in the shortest possible time. How to choose a pressure cooker? Look for a device with a special valve that ensures the tightness of the device.

Advantages:

  1. More features.
  2. The cooking time is noticeably reduced due to the high pressure generated inside the appliance. At the same time, steam effectively warms up all products, preserving nutrients and vitamins in them.
  3. The raised valve turns the appliance into a conventional multicooker.
  4. Products are stewed in their own juice, without oil and water.
  5. The steam pressure level can be adjusted to increase or decrease the cooking time.
  6. Saves energy by turning off as soon as the pressure reaches the optimum level.
  7. Allows you to cook food without defrosting.
  8. Thanks to the "Steam cleaning" function, all extraneous odors are destroyed. Pay attention to the presence of this function when studying the pressure cooker multicooker, which one to choose.

Flaws:

  1. The lid is very heavy and should never be opened during cooking. Therefore, the forgotten ingredient can no longer be added.
  2. Due to its size, it takes up a lot of space in the kitchen.
  3. Only foods that contain liquid can be cooked. You can't bake or fry.
  4. Hot steam and high pressure are dangerous for children and people with disabilities. The device must be used very carefully.
  5. The device must not be left unattended.
  6. High price.

The devices of the new generation include models that can cook both under pressure and without it. Their cost is quite high.

comparison table

Application

Multicooker (cooks without pressure)

You can open the lid during cooking. Does not require human presence. Tasty and healthy food, like from a Russian oven. Minimum fat and oil. No strong odors from cooking. Less energy consumption compared to a stove. Affordable price. Small sizes.

The cooking time is longer. The Teflon coating of the bowl is fragile. The cost of an additional bowl is equal to half the cost of the device itself. There is no automatic mixing of food. There is condensation on the lid. You can cook only one dish at a time, there is no crust on top.

An indispensable assistant for young mothers, bachelors and busy people.

Ideal if cooking times are not important.

Multi-cooker-pressure cooker (cooks under pressure)

More features. Cooking in own juice without water and oil. Consumes little electricity. Due to the high pressure, cooking times are minimal. Does not require defrosting food.

The lid is heavy, the device is quite bulky. Do not open the lid during cooking. You can cook only those foods that contain liquid. Not recommended to be left unattended. High price.

Great cook for the whole family. Ideal for people who don't have time to cook.

Criterias of choice

1. Cooking programs

The most popular are: “Rice” or “Buckwheat”, “Porridge”, “Soup”, “Baking”, “Stew”, “Frying”, “Steaming”, “Yogurt”. Different manufacturers call the programs differently, but this does not change their essence.

The presence of such functions as "Delay start" and "Keep warm" is also very important. After all, you can not only postpone the cooking time, but also keep it hot for 24 hours.

It takes about 24 hours to make yogurt, so consider whether it is critical for you to have this mode.

2. Location of heating elements

Typically, the heating element is located under the bottom of the inner bowl. Food doesn't always bake evenly.

Heating elements in models with 3D heating are located on all sides, so that the dish is baked more evenly.

3. Inner bowl volume and weight

To choose a slow cooker in terms of volume, it should be remembered that for 1-2 people a bowl of 2.5 - 3 liters will be enough. For a family of 4, a bowl with a volume of 3.5 - 5 liters is suitable. There are bowls for large families, from 6 to 10 liters. On a device with a volume of more than 5 liters, it will not only look bulky, but also take up too much space.

Weight is from 3 to 8 kg.

4. Power consumption

As a rule, the more power, the less time the cooking process will take.

Models with a power of 490-500 W do an excellent job of cooking cereals and stewing foods; 900-1500 W - fry and bake well. Universal are models with a power of 600-800 watts.

5. Housing material

Devices with a plastic case have a low price, scratches are not so noticeable on them, but over time the plastic darkens.

Models with a stainless steel case are much stronger than plastic ones, but they are also more expensive.

The rubberized feet will prevent the device from slipping on the smooth surface of the table.

6. Appearance and coating of the removable bowl

Most often there are bowls made of aluminum and stainless steel with a non-stick coating. Such bowls can be washed in the dishwasher, the service life is more than 2 years.

Disadvantages of Teflon Coating:

  • Easily scratched. Only silicone and plastic devices can be used.
  • Afraid of temperature changes.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners
  • Over time, non-stick properties are lost

Multi-cookers-pressure cookers are most often equipped with steel multilayer bowls, very durable.

Disadvantages of steel bowls:

  • Afraid of acid
  • Burnt dairy products
  • Soups often have a metallic taste
  • May cause allergies
  • Uneven heating of food

Bowls with marble coating or ceramic coating. Easy to wash, retain all nutrients.

Disadvantages of ceramic bowls:

  • Afraid of temperature changes
  • Dishwasher is contraindicated, afraid of chips
  • Food coloring stains
  • Non-stick properties are lost very quickly
  • High price

7. Control type

There are mechanical and touch controls. All cooking information (program, end time, temperature) are shown on the display.

When using the device in the country, it is desirable to have the function of saving settings (very useful in case of power outages).

8. Cord attachment type

The cord can be removable and non-removable. A model with a non-removable wire is considered safer, but a removable one is easier to replace.

9. The presence of a moisture trap

Condensate flowing into a special plastic container guarantees the perfect taste and appearance of the cooked dish.

10. Cover design

It is desirable that the inner cover is removable. This avoids stagnation of foreign odors and facilitates the washing process.

11. Warranty period

The longer the warranty period, the better, of course, if there is an official service center in the region.
