An important role in serving snacks for the New Year is played by the decoration of the snacks themselves and the dishes on which the snacks will be served. For decoration, you can use fresh herbs, figurines of fresh and boiled vegetables, olives, berries, and whatever your imagination tells you. Even serving a simple and, seemingly trivial cold cuts, you can beat this dish in such a way that it will be a stunning success with your guests. Just pick up a beautiful wide shallow dish, lay it out with fresh lettuce and sprigs of greens, beautifully place several well-matched types of cold cuts on top, and put two or three vases with various sauces in the center of the dish.

But, of course, the New Year's table cannot do without a simple set of sausages, smoked meats and cheeses. It is to the New Year's table that you want to certainly submit something special, something that can cause surprise and admiration. I would like to please guests with unusual and tasty snacks, which in themselves are small culinary masterpieces. Today "Culinary Eden" has prepared for you a selection of recipes for mouth-watering snacks that will certainly decorate your New Year's table and delight your guests.

1. Stuffed eggs are always popular. Slightly change the recipe, and your unusual snack will be remembered with pleasure throughout the next year. Hard boil 12 eggs, cool and peel. Cut each egg into two halves and remove the yolks. Fry four slices of bacon until golden brown and chop in a blender. To chopped bacon, add yolks, ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp. tablespoons grated cheddar cheese and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of mustard. Blend everything together in a blender until smooth. Fill the egg halves with the finished mass and refrigerate. Serve on a long, narrow platter garnished with lettuce.

2. Another extremely popular snack for the holiday table are stuffed tomatoes. Show a little patience and care, and you can surprise your guests with unusual and extremely tender stuffed cherry tomatoes. Wash thoroughly with 500 gr. cherry tomatoes. Carefully cut off the top and remove the pulp with a coffee spoon or teaspoon handle. Turn the tomatoes cut side down on a paper towel to drain excess juice. For the filling, combine together 3 tbsp. spoons of whipping cream, 150 gr. mozzarella cheese, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of finely chopped basil leaves and 1 clove of garlic. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Fill a piping bag or plastic bag with the corner cut off with the mixture. Lightly drizzle the inside of each tomato with white wine vinegar and fill with cheese mixture from a pastry bag. Arrange your tomatoes on a wide platter and garnish with basil and mint leaves.

3. It is very easy to prepare small snack sandwiches with salted salmon or trout. From a loaf of rye bread cut three slices no more than 1 cm thick. Cut each slice of bread into 4 parts and lightly fry on both sides in a small amount of vegetable oil. To make the sauce, place in a blender ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 garlic clove, 1 teaspoon fresh or dried tarragon (tarragon), ½ teaspoon dry mustard, 1 teaspoon capers, 1 hard-boiled egg, and 1 teaspoon parsley. . Whisk everything together until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Put 1 teaspoon of sauce on each toast, place a piece of salted salmon rolled into a ring on top and sprinkle everything with a small amount of finely chopped green onions.

4. Very tasty are canapes with salted trout rolls. Cut a small cucumber into thin slices. From slices of toast bread, use a glass to cut circles approximately the same diameter as cucumber slices. 100 gr. melted cream cheese mixed with 1 tbsp. a spoonful of finely chopped dill. 200 gr. lightly salted trout cut into thin slices. Brush each slice of trout with dill cheese and roll up. Put a slice of cucumber on a slice of bread, place a trout roll on top and fasten everything with a wooden skewer or a toothpick.

5. Another option for extremely tasty and easy-to-prepare holiday canapes. Canape with shrimp. 150 gr. boil medium-sized shrimp in salted water with dill, cool and peel. Cut two slices of toast bread into small pieces and lightly dry in a frying pan without oil so that a thin crispy crust forms, but the bread remains soft in the middle. Lightly rub each toast with garlic and brush with cream cheese. Place a thin slice of fresh cucumber on top, boiled shrimp on top of the cucumber, and place half an olive in the center of the shrimp. Secure your canape with a skewer.

6. Pancake rolls are an unusual and delicate appetizer that will surely surprise and delight your guests. Mix 1 liter of milk, 1 egg, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour, 3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, salt and sugar to taste. From the resulting dough, bake thin pancakes and cool them. Lubricate each pancake with a thin layer of melted cream cheese, put thin slices of salted salmon (or other fish), long strips of pickled cucumbers and avocados on top, sprinkle with finely chopped dill. Gently roll the pancake into a roll, wrap tightly with cling film and refrigerate for half an hour. Release the finished roll from the film and cut into 6 rolls.

7. A refreshing, delicate appetizer of cucumbers and fruits is sure to please all lovers of unusual flavor combinations. Cut into small cubes 1 red apple and 200 gr. canned pineapples. Lightly toast a quarter cup of shelled walnuts in a dry frying pan and chop. In a small saucepan, combine fruits, nuts, add ¼ cup low-fat sour cream, salt to taste. Mix everything thoroughly and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut three small cucumbers into 1 cm thick circles. Put 1 teaspoon of a mixture of fruits and nuts on each circle and garnish with a small mint leaf on top.

For its preparation, you can use it like a natural crab meat, and its substitutes, you can also take any other seafood to your taste. In a deep saucepan, combine 1 1/3 cups thinly sliced ​​crab meat, 1 ¼ cups white bread crumbs, 1 egg, 1/3 cup light mayonnaise, 1/3 cup finely chopped green onion, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of finely chopped parsley. Add ½ teaspoon salt, 1 ½ tbsp. tablespoons of lemon juice and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, ground thyme and paprika. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
