It is advisable to start cooking pancakes by preparing the mushroom filling. Wash the mushrooms, in this case champignons. Finely chop them.

To give the filling a brighter taste, add onion to it. Cut onion into cubes.

Put the chopped onions and mushrooms into a hot frying pan with oil. Add black pepper and some salt to taste. In addition to black pepper, you can add any other spices. Fry the mushrooms, stirring them for 15 minutes.

Remove the pan from the stove and let the mushroom pancake filling cool down. In the meantime, you can start preparing pancake dough in milk. In principle, this recipe for pancakes can also be cooked on water, however, pancakes on water are obtained with a less pronounced creamy taste. Crack two eggs into a deep bowl.

I cook pancakes not only for Maslenitsa and have already shared recipes for thin pancakes in milk and poppy seed pancakes. But this time I decided to offer a recipe for non-sweet pancakes, with mushrooms and onions.

To make pancakes, we need ingredients: milk, flour, sugar, eggs, salt and vegetable oil. In the photo there are twice as many ingredients for pancakes, but I wrote as it should be in the table.
For the filling: mushrooms (you can use any, I took mushrooms), onions, vegetable oil, ground black pepper and salt.

Let's start with the preparation of the filling. We chop the onion. Pour vegetable oil (50g) into a preheated frying pan and add the onion to fry.

While the onion is cooking, cut the mushrooms into cubes.

As soon as it is fried, we fall asleep mushrooms and mix everything.

Cover with a lid and simmer.
In the meantime, let's make pancakes.
Whisk eggs, salt and sugar.

Add milk and whisk again.
