To be honest, I seriously doubted that anything decent would come of it. Because my long-standing experience with silicone was deplorable - everything that was possible stuck in it. But that was several years ago. Silicone, apparently, was cheap and of poor quality. And then it immediately caught my eye that the price for Lékué silicone baking molds is quite high. I read the information on the site, it turned out that all their products are made of platinum silicone. it is better to read about it more carefully, then the price becomes clear. Then I went to YouTube and found a video of making waffles (yes, I'm corrosive, so I choose a product for a long time, look for reviews, weigh all the pros and cons). But I’ll make a reservation right away - the point here is not in the forms, but exclusively in the recipe that goes to this set of forms. The molds worked just fine - I did everything according to the instructions, nothing stuck, everything was perfectly baked, the waffles were soft inside, slightly crispy on the outside. If you didn't like the recipe, then you had to try a new one. I remembered that Alenka Kogotkova recently posted on her website a recipe for Belgian kefir waffles with a very small amount of butter added. I decided to give it a try, although I made some changes to the recipe.

Compound:
250 g wheat flour
2 tbsp. spoons of sugar
1 tsp baking powder

3 small eggs
350 ml kefir
30 g butter (melt, cool)

It turned out VERY delicious! Eight waffles today are gone :) Moreover, if you remove sugar from the recipe (or leave literally 1 tsp), then these waffles can be safely combined with red fish, cheese, vegetable snacks, etc.

I give the forms a solid five, the result surprised me and made me very happy. I also ordered the Lekue silicone mold "Breadsticks", red, but have not yet tried it in action. There was a huge temptation to order a stencil mat for making macaroons, also my old dream, but I am well aware that in the near future I will not be up to them, so for now I’ll be fine with it.
