Since its composition, in addition to butter, also includes sour milk and baking powder (soda). So let's get started. First, sift the flour with salt. Initially, we use two glasses of wheat flour. Another glass, which is indicated in the ingredients, we will need to dust the work surface and sprinkle the cake before baking. And also in the event that the dough requires a flour "additive".

Put about half a pack of butter (or a little more) into a bowl of flour. For this recipe, butter can be either chilled or at room temperature. We grind the product with flour.

Now we need to pour milk into the bowl. I used fatty homemade, with the presence of cream. You can use sour milk or sour cream (about two to three tablespoons).

Knead the dough until it turns into one ball. We divide it into two parts, one slightly smaller than the other. Cover the dough with cling film and place in the refrigerator. We need the dough to freeze. This will take 25-30 minutes. In this case, the degree of freezing of a larger piece should be somewhat less than that of a smaller ball. Just let it cool down a bit.

While the dough is in the refrigerator, we will prepare the zucchini filling. To do this, wash a small vegetable thoroughly and dry it. Trim both edges. If the fruit is overripe, remove the skin and, cutting, select the core. I used a young zucchini, so I just rubbed it on a coarse grater.

Following the zucchini, we clean and rub the carrot. We also use a coarse grater.

We clean the onion and cut it into small cubes. We also clean a few cloves of garlic and pass through the press. We place both products in a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the onion until soft. You can also add a few leaves of parsley to the ingredients. This will give the onion a light mushroom flavor.

When the onion is fried, send the grated zucchini and carrots to the pan. We mix. Simmer over medium heat for about eight to ten minutes.

When the vegetables are soft enough, we need to salt and pepper them to taste. Also pour a few tablespoons of soy sauce into the pan, mix the ingredients. If desired, soy sauce can be replaced with ketchup. We tear fresh greens (I have celery) into small pieces and send them to the pan. Instead of celery, you can take parsley or cilantro. Keep the vegetables on the stove for another 2-3 minutes.

Now back to the test. First we take out the piece that is larger. Roll it out a little with a rolling pin. Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Then we transfer the dough to a baking sheet and distribute it with our hands in shape. The baking sheet must first be greased, covered with baking paper and greased again with vegetable oil.

Our vegetable filling has already cooled down a bit. We shift it to a layer of dough and evenly distribute it over the surface. Don't forget to remove the bay leaf from the pan first! In the filling, he is useless.

Now we take out the second piece of dough from the refrigerator and rub it on a coarse grater. The resulting curls of dough are evenly distributed over the surface of the cake. We need the dough to cover the filling. At the end of this process, sprinkle the surface with a little flour. We send the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake at 180-200 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
