  • Water - 200 ml.

Before starting to make strawberry liqueur, berries are prepared at home: they are sorted out, rejecting all spoiled, rotten and immature ones. Then wash and dry completely.

In a clean jar (suitable for 3 liters), berries cut in half are put, they can be slightly kneaded, poured with vodka.

The juice from half a lemon is added to the resulting mixture, the contents of the jar are thoroughly mixed.

The jar is closed, sent to the windowsill (in the sun), where it stands for 7-10 days. During this time, the vodka will get a rich strawberry color. Then it is poured into a separate container, and sugar is added to the jar.

The container is again sent to the windowsill, shaking occasionally. This is necessary so that the sugar is completely dissolved.

After 2-3 days, there will be no sugar crystals left, and there will be a lot of juice in the jar. The prescribed amount of water at room temperature is poured into it, everything is well mixed, and then the juice is drained, and the berries are squeezed (also into juice).

Alcohol from the refrigerator is added to the treated liquid and everything is mixed. The prepared drink is insisted for another 5 days on a sunny windowsill, and then the sediment is drained.

Strawberry homemade liqueur is left to strain through several layers of gauze, and it is ready to drink.

Such a drink can be made on vodka, purified moonshine of the desired strength, or on alcohol, however, it is also possible on rum or cognac.

You can store liquor made according to this recipe for up to 2 years in a dark, cool place (up to +16).

Take:

  • Strawberries, fresh, frozen - 500 gr.
  • Sugar - 300 gr.
  • Vodka - 500 ml. (alcohol diluted with water up to 45 degrees).
  • Lemon - half.
  • Water - 200 ml.

How to cook:

  1. Place a clean strawberry in a liter jar and fill with vodka so that they are completely covered with liquid.
  2. Add lemon juice and send the jar to the windowsill for 10 days.
  3. After this time, strain the drink (do not squeeze the berries).

The drink is intended for long-term storage, however, it will have to be insisted for quite some time. But the taste is amazing!

Take:

  • Strawberries - 360 gr.
  • Vodka - 750 ml.
  • Cinnamon is a stick.
  • Cloves - 2 sticks.
  • Sugar - 150 gr.
  • Lemon zest from 2 lemons.
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.

How to cook:

  1. Combine berries, lemon zest, spices and 90 gr. Sahara. Pour vodka or the same amount of 40% alcohol and hide the tank in a cool place for 6 months. I want to say that just 1-2 months is quite enough - it has been checked, but in the original recipe it is indicated for six months.
  2. Strain the liquor and pour into another jar, add 60 gr. sugar and leave to ripen for another week. The longer it sits, the tastier it is. By the way, do not throw away strawberries after straining, decorate pastries and desserts with it.

Homemade strawberry liqueur with cream

I know that this homemade drink is often called strawberry yogurt. It can be prepared from fresh and frozen berries, which allows you to have it on hand all year round. This is incredibly convenient, you can prepare liquor in advance for any date. Not too happy with the shelf life, with a guarantee - only a month.

Take:

  • Vodka - 500 ml. (substitute cognac if desired)
  • Strawberries - fresh - half a liter jar, frozen will take 350 gr.

  4. After a week, carefully drain the liquid through gauze into another clean jar without squeezing the strawberries. Close the jar with strawberry vodka infusion tightly and put in a dark place.
  5. Add ½ part of the required amount of sugar to a jar of strawberries, close the jar tightly, shake well several times. Put the jar of berries and sugar back on the windowsill for 2 days. During these days, the sugar should completely dissolve, and you will get a syrup.
  6. Drain the resulting strawberry syrup through cheesecloth and add to the strawberry vodka infusion.
  7. And in a jar of strawberries, add the remaining portion of sugar and do the same procedure to get the syrup.
  8. The resulting syrup is also added to the strawberry vodka infusion, tightly closed and placed for 14 days in a dark place. During this time, the liquor will lighten up, it can be filtered from the sediment that has appeared.
  9. Pour the prepared strawberry liqueur into bottles and cork tightly.

  • Using this recipe, you can also make liquor from other summer berries, such as cherries or sweet cherries;
