  • Soy sauce - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Sugar - 1 tsp;
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Pepper - 0.5 tsp;
  • Coriander - 0.5 tsp

After thoroughly washing the chicken thighs and drying them with a napkin, put them in a deep bowl. Top with one head of chopped onion, sprinkle with a few drops of lemon juice and sauce. Press down tightly with a lid and immerse to marinate in a chilled place for two hours.

We chop the remaining onion in the same way in half rings, pour over the remaining sauce, oil, crush with seasonings, sugar and knead strongly with your hand so that it starts the juice. Immerse in a food container and also leave to marinate.

We take the sleeve, put the pickled onion on the bottom, and the thighs on top. Fasten the edges tightly. We make several punctures in it with a toothpick so that steam comes out. Immerse in a cold electric oven, turn on the baking function at 190 ° C for an hour and a half. At the end, we tear off the sleeve, leave it with the appliance turned off for another ten minutes.

Marinating the bird in kefir

An equally popular and sought-after marinade for chicken is kefir. This fermented milk product perfectly softens poultry meat and makes it juicy.

Components:

  • Chicken meat - 2 kg;
  • Garlic - 3 cloves;
  • Kefir - 1 l.;
  • Basil - a bunch;
  • Salt, spices - to taste;
  • Onions - 3 heads.

We cut the meat into identical pieces, but first remove the skin from it. You can use any parts - drumsticks, fillets or thighs - at your discretion. Put in a large bowl, sprinkle with onion, chopped half rings and garlic with basil.

We crush the meat with spices, salt and strongly knead the meat with our hands so that the spices are well absorbed. Pour in kefir, or natural yogurt, its fat content depends on the meat used.

If it is a fillet, then fatter will do, if juicy thighs - fat-free. Cover tightly with a lid and chill for an hour.

We activate the electric oven at 220 ° C. Pour water into the pan and put it on the very bottom of the appliance. We string the meat not too tightly on skewers and put it on the wire rack. Cooking for half an hour.

  1. Do not cut the pieces of chicken meat too small, it will dry out quickly and will not be tasty. The optimal thickness is 1.5 centimeters;
  2. You need to shred the meat only along the fibers. So more juice will remain inside;
  3. For baking in an electric oven, use two modes. First - grill, no more than ten minutes and turning twice, and then - normal with heating to 200 ° C for half an hour, so that it languishes;
  4. Be sure to soak the skewers in a bowl of water for half an hour. So they do not burn out from the heat;
  5. Wings marinated in spicy adjika are very tasty. No need to string them on skewers, just lay them on a wire rack;
  6. If you had to use a frozen fillet, let it lie on the lowest shelf of the refrigerator, then immerse it in a food container and lift it up. Forced rapid defrosting of meat will make it tougher;
  7. Cover the bottom of the grate or baking sheet with foil - you don’t have to soak and wash the utensils for a long time;
  8. Homemade tomato and mayonnaise-mustard sauces are suitable for chicken kebab. If you also serve salads, then use vegetable oils for dressing.
