Hello, dear readers of the site site. Cottage cheese donuts can always be prepared if there is some cottage cheese left in the refrigerator, and there are children and older family members at home who "well, I really wanted something sweet." They should be fried with a sufficient amount of oil, it is better to take a purified product, odorless. Curd donuts are incredibly tasty, tender, they just melt in your mouth. If you wish, you can add raisins to them, but there is a chance that the raisins will not get inside the crumpets, but outside, and then it may burn a little.

Ingredients

  • cottage cheese 120 g
  • milk 120 ml
  • chicken egg 1 pc
  • granulated sugar 3 tsp
  • table salt 0.5 tsp
  • dry yeast 1.5 tsp
  • butter 50 g
  • wheat flour 2 cups
  • vegetable oil 150 ml
  • powdered sugar 50 g

How to cook

  1. Warm the milk a little and pour the yeast into it. You need to stir them well so that they completely dissolve.
  2. Add cottage cheese, softened butter, chicken egg, sugar, salt, a teaspoon of vegetable oil to the milk. Mix everything very well.
  3. Add the sifted flour to the resulting mass. The recipe says 2 cups, but you look at the situation - if the dough is liquid, then add another glass. It all depends on the quality of the flour.
  4. Knead the dough and send it to a warm place for 50 minutes to rise.
  5. After the specified time, mix the dough again so that it falls and divide into balls.
  6. Put the ball on a floured table, flatten it slightly and squeeze out the center with a glass to make a bagel.
  7. Spread the donuts prepared in this way on the table and cover with cling film. leave them for 15 minutes to rise slightly.
  8. Pour all the remaining oil into a deep frying pan and dip the donuts one at a time into the heated oil. Turn the donuts over while frying. They will fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  9. When you remove the crumpets from the pan, do not rush to put them on a plate - place them on a paper towel so that they absorb excess oil a little. And only then sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve.

Fry donuts

Cute rings in powdered sugar - this is the donuts! They are deep-fried and are the "sisters" of donuts. 🙂

We recently made yeast dough donuts, and now let's deep-fry equally delicious cottage cheese dough donuts!

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • flour - about one and a half glasses;
  • cottage cheese - 250 g;
  • sugar - 2 tablespoons;
  • soda - 1 teaspoon (and vinegar for repayment);
  • powdered sugar.

How to cook cottage cheese donuts:

Mix cottage cheese, sugar and eggs.

Knead everything with a fork until smooth, add soda and extinguish with vinegar.

Gradually adding flour, knead the dough. It should turn out soft, not very steep, otherwise the donuts will be hard.

Roll out the dough on a floured board to a thickness of about 1 cm.

And cut out circles, and these circles have holes in the middle. I cut out large mugs with a glass, and small ones with a plastic bottle cap. You get nice rings. We roll up the “production waste” into a ball, roll it out again with a rocking chair and cut out the rings.

Warm up refined sunflower oil well in a frying pan, dip the rings into it and fry until browned on one side.

Turn over with a fork - carefully so that the oil does not splatter - and brown on the other side.

We catch donuts from the pan on a paper towel or in a colander to drain excess oil.

Slightly cooled donuts are transferred to a dish.

And generously sprinkle with powdered sugar through a strainer.

Beautiful, easy and delicious!

Curd donuts, so rosy and appetizing, are a great option for tea or coffee for breakfast, as well as just for a snack. We bake delicious donuts and delight loved ones with homemade cakes.

Cottage cheese donuts - recipe with photo:

Place the required amount of cottage cheese in a deep plate, lightly knead with a fork, beat one chicken egg into it.

Then add a portion of granulated sugar and a pinch of salt. For flavor, you can add a little vanilla sugar or vanillin to the dough. Stir the mixture with a spoon.

Add sour cream of any degree of fat content to the main composition.

Thoroughly beat the mass with an immersion blender, completely connecting all the components to each other. As a result, you will get a homogeneous, fairly liquid mixture.

Be sure to sift the flour through a special sieve to rid it of impurities and saturate it with oxygen. Combine the sifted flour with baking powder, mix vigorously.

Pour the prepared flour into the liquid composition.

First, start mixing the mixture with a spoon, when it becomes very difficult to interfere, as the dough will thicken, move on to kneading with your hands. The result will be a lump of soft dough that will slightly stick to your hands. You should not achieve a perfect, non-sticky dough, excess flour will make the donuts stiff and dense. That is, it should remain a little sticky.

Divide the dough into several parts, lay each copy on a board (sprinkled with flour) and roll it out with a rolling pin, getting a round layer. The thickness can be adjusted at your discretion, depending on the desired result of the finished donuts. If the dough sticks strongly to the rolling pin when rolling out, dust it with flour on top as well.

Using a search round glass or mold, make the same blanks for donuts. Re-roll the dough scraps to get new copies.

Heat the pan on the burner, pour in the oil, which should be a small amount, so that the cakes do not stick to the pan. Be sure to remove excess flour from the surface of the blanks before frying, otherwise it will burn. Fry the curd donuts in a pan on both sides over medium heat until lightly browned. They fry very quickly, so do not go far from the stove.

Our curd donuts are ready! They are served hot, always in tandem with sour cream. You can also dust them with powdered sugar for beauty.

I offer you a recipe for making donuts from cottage cheese and sour cream, the taste of which I have known since childhood. My sister and I were spoiled with such donuts by our grandmother. Now I cook them myself, for my children and grandchildren.

True, the recipe has changed a little: instead of yeast dough, I use quick curd. Donuts are incredibly tender, fragrant, and with sour cream - just eat your mind. A very simple recipe: it takes only half an hour to prepare everything.

Composition of products

  • two glasses of wheat flour;
  • 200 grams of cottage cheese;
  • two tablespoons of sour cream;
  • two fresh chicken eggs;
  • two tablespoons of granulated sugar;
  • half a teaspoon of salt;
  • one teaspoon of baking powder.

Step by step cooking process

Cottage cheese can be used store-bought (preferably with a fat content of 9%). We shift the cottage cheese into a bowl, add two tablespoons of sour cream with a slide (I have sour cream with a fat content of 20%, but you can use any other), drive in two fresh chicken eggs.

Then add salt, granulated sugar and knead with a crush into a homogeneous mass. For flavor, add vanilla sugar if desired. In a separate bowl, measure out two cups of wheat flour (a glass with a capacity of 250 milliliters), add the baking powder and mix with a spoon.

Then, using a sieve, sift the flour into the curd mixture (in parts), mixing well each time. Sprinkle the table with flour, spread the dough, knead well. The finished dough is soft and slightly sticky to the hands.

We form a flagellum from it, cut it into portioned pieces. I get 15 approximately identical pieces. We roll each lump of dough into a bun, then roll them into a cake. Thickness is up to you.

Lubricate the pan with vegetable oil using a silicone brush, spread the cakes and fry them on both sides until golden brown.

If you wish, to make the dish more useful, you can put the donuts on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven. Immediately grease the fried donuts with sour cream, sprinkle with sugar and stack them in a pile. Serve on the table - and enjoy light pastries.
