  2. Drain the water from the jars, add sugar to it and prepare the syrup.
  3. Pour the syrup over the berries again and roll up.
  4. Wrap in a blanket until completely cool.

Cowberry jam

The classic recipe for jam is as follows:

  • lingonberries - 1.5 kg;
  • sugar - 2 kg;
  • water - 1.2 l.
  1. Pour boiling water over the berries and put them in a colander.
  2. Boil sugar syrup and pour over fruit.
  3. Cook over low heat for half an hour.
  4. Pour into sterilized jars and leave to cool in a dark place.
There is also a recipe for lingonberry jam that does not involve cooking:
  • lingonberries - 1 kg;
  • sugar - 750 g.
Pour lingonberries passed through a meat grinder with sugar and leave in a cool place until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then pour the jam into sterilized jars, cork with plastic lids and put in the refrigerator. Cowberry jam for the winter is ready!
