And another recipe.

Quick biscuits with strawberry jam

I offer another version of biscuit cookies. This is a very simple recipe that comes in handy when guests are already on the doorstep. Once upon a time, back in childhood, my mother prepared incredibly tasty cookies from biscuit dough - the plate with such a delicacy was empty instantly! This biscuit dough is quick and easy to prepare and bake. Since our cookies are thin, they will last about ten minutes in the oven. Strawberry jam will complement the delicate and soft taste of the sponge cake. Or any other of your choice.

The quantity of ingredients implies baking two batches of products. I do this on two baking sheets at the same time. I put them on different levels in the oven and turn on the convection. It works out very quickly and economically. In a short time, 32 single cookies.

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 3 pcs.
  • sugar – 3/4 cup
  • flour – 3/4 cup
  • strawberry jam (or any other) - about 4 tbsp.

How to cook

On a note

  • You can add cocoa powder to the dough and make two-color “day and night” cookies.
  • Cookies can be sealed not only with jam, but also with melted chocolate, butter or custard, and condensed milk (preferably boiled).
  • At home, you can even make unusually shaped cookies, giving the circle the appearance of a calla lily flower. This is done like this: hot cookies are fastened on one side and you get a bud or like a paper bag. You can put any cream inside through a pastry bag.
  • And another way to decorate cookies is to paint them with melted chocolate, black and white. You can also use sugar pencils for drawing.
  • Instead of oat streusel, you can top the crust with chopped walnuts or peanuts.

The recipe for making these cookies is surprisingly simple, but the result is amazing in its taste!

So, to make cookies you will need the following ingredients:

Large chicken eggs - 5 pieces

Wheat flour – 230-240 g (this is approximately 1.5 faceted glasses)

Granulated sugar - 140 g (or a little more than half a glass) and powdered sugar for sprinkling cookies

Vanilla sugar (or plain vanillin) - a pinch and a pinch of salt.

Baking powder for dough – 1 sachet (usually 10 grams).

A sheet of parchment paper (or a silicone mat).

Oil for lubricating paper.

Cooking a dish according to photo steps, homemade biscuits:

Set the oven to preheat at 180°.

Separate the yolks from the whites in the usual way, then beat the whites with sugar with a mixer or whisk until a very stable foam forms.

Add a pinch of vanilla sugar (or regular vanillin) and salt to the yolks and beat lightly.

Carefully add the whipped whites into the yolk mixture in small portions and gently stir clockwise.

After all the whites have been added to the yolk mass, you should add flour to the resulting mixture, to which baking powder has been added. Flour must also be added in portions, stirring with folding movements clockwise.

Line a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper, then lightly grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil or butter. Instead of paper, you can use a silicone mat.

The resulting dough should be poured onto parchment paper (or a silicone mat) and carefully leveled with a spoon to obtain an even layer.

Place the baking sheet with the dough in the oven and bake until done, about 15-20 minutes. The finished layer should be removed from the baking sheet and cut into arbitrary shapes.

Dust cookies with powdered sugar if desired.
