Half a glass of flour;

1. Rinse the chicken, add water and cook the broth for about 40-50 minutes, depending on the quality of the bird. Then remove the meat and add salt to the broth to taste.

2. Cut the peeled potatoes into cubes and place them in the broth.

How to cook semolina dumplings

Ingredients:

  • Semolina– 1 glass
  • Milk – 1.5 cups
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Ghee butter – 1 tbsp.
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Honey – 1 tsp.
  • Cheese – 50 g
  • Syrup or jam (optional)

My cooking method:

1. Bring milk and water, with added salt, to a boil
2. Add the cereal and cook thick viscous semolina porridge for 7 - 10 minutes


3. Add butter and honey to the finished porridge, mix and cool to 70ᵒ
4. Add the raw egg, mixing thoroughly and lightly beating the mixture


5. Divide the prepared mixture into dumplings of the same size (I used a teaspoon, first wetting it and my hands in a plate of water so that the mass would not stick to either one)


6. And place the dumplings, one at a time, into boiling salted water


7. Remove them with a slotted spoon as soon as they float to the surface.
8. First place in a colander so that all the water drains out.


9. And immediately transfer them to a bowl with melted butter and shake lightly

Serve them, both hot and cold, in shallow plates or salad bowls, drizzle with honey (I brought frozen strawberries to a boil with a little sugar - aroma! Like fresh from the garden).

If desired, you can sprinkle boiled dumplings grated cheese or serve it separately on a socket.
