  1. Season the poultry thighs with salt, pepper and other spices of your choice. Place them in a mold or on a baking sheet.
  2. We cut the champignons into slices, fry them in oil, also seasoning them with spices.
  3. Place fried mushrooms on each chicken thigh and place tomato half rings on top.
  4. In a bowl, combine grated cheese, mayonnaise and chopped spicy vegetables, spread the resulting mass on the tomatoes.
  5. Bake the dish for 45 minutes (temperature 200°C).

Chicken fillet baked with mushrooms and cheese is easy to prepare, perfect for a gala dinner and goes harmoniously with any side dish. Browned meat slices in the form of ready-made portioned pieces look great surrounded by fresh lettuce leaves and herbs.

Before using, the mushrooms need to be boiled a little. You should not combine them with garlic or overuse spices: the mushroom aroma is too valuable.

Instead of fried onions, you can use pickled onions; they will add juiciness to the meat, and low-fat sour cream and a crispy cheese crust will prevent it from drying out even after long baking.

Ingredients

The recipe is for 4-5 servings:

  • chicken meat (fillet) – 400 g
  • mushrooms (fresh champignons or oyster mushrooms) – 200 g
  • vegetable oil – 3 tbsp. l.
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • sour cream – 100 g
  • hard cheese – 100 g
  • fine sea salt or table salt - to taste

Preparation

1. First of all, we clean the chicken fillet from fat and films. Wash, dry with a towel and cut the fillet slightly diagonally into slices. Beat them with a hammer, sprinkle with salt or spices and transfer to a baking sheet lined with paper.

2. Next, we sort and clean the mushrooms, cut them into slices.

Peel the onion, rinse with cold water and chop.

3. In a frying pan heated with oil, fry the mushrooms and onions until golden brown, stirring so that they do not burn.

4. Then place the roast on each piece of meat, while distributing the filling evenly.

5. Next, put sour cream on the filling and sprinkle with grated hard cheese.
