Using a slow cooker, you can prepare a wide variety of dishes from beef liver - soups, roasts, and, of course, snacks. Liver pate is one of the most popular types of snacks, because it has an excellent taste, is affordable and easy to prepare. Even with little culinary experience, you can probably handle such a simple recipe as beef liver pate in a slow cooker. Liver pate prepared using this method will be an excellent breakfast for the whole family. If the dish is intended exclusively for adults, be sure to add a little rum or cognac at the end of its preparation. The pate is also served with pomegranate seeds, herbs, and mayonnaise. The finished liver pate does not last long, only 2-3 days.

Ingredients:

  • beef liver – 400 g
  • carrots – 1 pc.
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • chicken eggs – 2 pcs
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
  • garlic – 2 cloves
  • butter – 50-100 g
  • salt, spices - to taste

Preparation:

Rinse beef liver and soak in milk to remove bitterness.

Remove the films from the liver and cut it into small pieces. Together with vegetable oil, place the liver in a multi-cooker bowl.

Add peeled and chopped carrots, as well as onion slices, to the bowl. Cook the dish in a Panasonic multicooker for 30 minutes, turning on the “baking” program or in the “stewing” mode for 50-60 minutes.

While the liver is being prepared in the slow cooker, we will have time to boil the chicken eggs. Cool the boiled eggs and remove their shells.

The contents of the bowl should be stirred periodically and ensure that the dish does not burn. You can add water or broth to the bowl if necessary. 5 minutes before the end of the program, add chopped garlic, salt and pepper to the bowl. At this stage it is possible to add chopped herbs.

Transfer the finished liver with vegetables to an empty container and cool. Add boiled eggs, butter and blend everything with a blender.

The mass turns out homogeneous, smooth and tender. By the way, if you want to reduce the calorie content of the pate, replace the butter with soft cheese (for example, Philadelphia) - the taste of the snack will not deteriorate, and the health benefits are obvious.

The finished liver pate should be cooled. After this, it can be served to the table in the form of sandwiches. It is permissible to store the finished pate only in the refrigerator. If the prepared dish turns out to be too much for you, the pate can be placed in a portioned bowl and frozen. In the freezer, it perfectly retains its taste for at least 2 months.
